APC is definitely winning it in sokoto, especially gubernatorial.. Tambuwal survived with just 300k because of imcumbency factor, but his popularity has nose dived big time because of failure and Aliyu wammako factor, who happens to be a joggranaut in sokoto politics Sokoto presidential will be very close 50/50, or either tinubu/Atiku winning it with slight margin Wammako could have won it for Tinubu, but sentimental factors will have a play garfield1: What is the strength of both parties |

Dear Yoruba brothers, How could you have forgotten this thread real quick, in which you were insulted, mocked, belittled, antagonised, maligned, abused and slandered when you find yourself out of the corridors of power? https://www.nairaland.com/745731/yoruba-marginalization-elders-met-jonathanGoing through that thread, I shock my head in disbelief in regards the hatred and hostility target towards the SW Why do you Yoruba find it easy to join other region/tribes in insulting your leaders, while other region protect, shield, safeguard and defend their elites at all cost!! I'm a northerner, in as much as I don't like Atiku and I won't be voting for him, because I know his incompetent, coupled with his corruption baggage.. I see a lot of northerners trying to white wash and portray him as what his not simply because his a fellow northerner You say Tinubu is corrupt, that he has stolen Lagos money through Alpha betaLMFAO! Pls name me on politician that is not corrupt! Why are the SE not talking about PO Pandora scandals or his countless lies!! Why do they find it easy and convenient to hide their flaws but u join them in ridiculing and exposing urs there celebrities can campaign for PO but you dear not campaign for Tinubu even in SW, Yoruba land.. can u imagine!!.. if this is what is called "omoluwabi", then I'm afraid it's a curse!! No wonder it's easy for them to claim Lagos "a no man's land, while paying homage in kano state! you said religion does not matter in SW, but events lately has exposed you guys, u let outsiders to divide and rule you.. there is no single Muslim governor nor deputy, but that has never been an issues.. this is hypocrisy!! Once u loose out, this same set of people will be the first ones to mock, insult and rob ur stupidity all over ur face.. while they push u to insult and castigate ur finest elites, they are at the background laughing at u their japa destination is Lagos State , to an extend El-rufai referred to them as "night bus travellers!! Why will you not look at what all Tinubu has achieved and his competence in Lagos, simple because a outsider told u so!! When it comes to competence, is PO or Atiku expertise and prowess capable to lace Tinubu's shoes!?!? When we start talking about achievements, they quickly switch to corruption, when we remind them of Pandora papers, they quickly switch to age, forgetting they voted for Atiku in 2019!! no amount of pressure will make me support Atiku, my fellow like Arewa will say "komai ne naka naka ne(no matter what, urs is urs), but I told them, since Atiku left for Dubai in 2019.. has he ever spoke about herdsmen, kidnapping and other vices affecting the north? |

With Aliyu Magatakarda Wammako on ground and PDP failure.. it's a done deal for APC APC don't even need to campaign in sokoto, Wammako is what Wike and kwankwasso are to their state NaijaRoyalty: Sokoto is a PDP state , this defection is watery

Unlike the south, north are known to vote party line and accordingly to what their leaders dictate If you know the northerners clearly, just like Yoruba, those claiming woke by burning APC brooms, insulting buhari/APC and washing the streets etc are only hoodwinking and deceiving the south and looking for cheap media clout!! Buhari barely and only lost Benue state by just 300k in 2019 upon all the propaganda of herdsmen When the chips are down and reality sets in, everybody will go back to his papa's house! Politics › Femi Gbajabiamila: What Transpired During Obasanjo, Tinubu’s Meeting by ItsTutsi(op): 8:19pm On Aug 18, 2022 |
Speaker of House of Representatives, Rep.Femi Gbajabiamila, says what transpired during the meeting between former president Olusegun Obasanjo and presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Sen. Bola Tinubu, is assuring of the latter’s victory, come 2023.
Gbajabiamila made the statement on Thursday while speaking at the Surulere Local Government Area (LGA) APC meeting in Surulere, Lagos.
The Speaker, who was present at the closed-door meeting between Obasanjo and Tinubu on Wednesday in Abeokuta, said from what he heard there, Tinubu’s presidency was almost a reality.
He said Obasanjo made encouraging statements about Tinubu’s aspiration and even prayed for the APC presidential candidate.
“When we were going to Obasanjo’s house, we were eight, including Asiwaju Tinubu and me; we didnt want many people to know about the meeting. So, we were to meet Obasanjo and five others from his side.
“But when we eventually got there, we met something pleasantly shocking: a mammoth crowd of our supporters were already at the former president’s house waiting for us.
“So, Obasanjo told Asiwaju Tinubu to pick three people from his side and that he would pick three from his side to meet behind close doors.
“So, I, Chief Osoba and Chief Akande and Asiwaju went from our side. My people, what I heard there, what Obasanjo said, the victory of Asiwaju is assured.
“Obasanjo spoke at length and we were all happy. He embraced our candidate like a brother, gave him a pat on the back, and prayed for him copiously”, he said.
Gbajabiamila said from what analysts and observers had said, the 2023 election was going to be a three-horse race by three main candidates.
He, however, said Sen. Bola Tinubu was the candidate with best record of performance and network.
Gbajabiamila said that he had no doubt Tinubu would win the presidential election.
He urged party faithful at the various wards making up Surulere local government area to work assiduously for the victory of Tinubu and all APC candidates in Surulere in 2023.
“Next year’s election is going to be an important one in our nation, and we all need to make the right decision.
“From all indications, there are three main candidates for the election. We know the records of everyone, we know what they did and what they did not do.
“Two were former governors and we know the one whose records are enduring and we know how the other people performed while in office.
“But one thing is a fact: there is none out of the three candidates that has the records of Tinubu.
“He is the best of them all and I don’t have any doubt in my mind that he would win come 2023”, he said.
Gbajabiamila thanked the people of the local government area for their support for him and for giving the opportunity to serve them.
He said that he considered being elected to serve as an honour, and would continue to redeem his electoral promises to impact lives in the area.
“Everywhere you go in Surulere, it is Gbaja this, Gbaja that. In terms of roads, hospitals, street lights and others, you see our footprints and even fingerprints everywhere........ continue

Lol.. another nyamuri divide and rule tactics!! This is DOA! Hausa-fulani have coexist, intermarried and breed for centuries now! You will barely find a Hausa family without fulani bloodline, vice-versa The issue of hausa-fulani has never, been never and will never be discussed in the north, because we see ourselves as one FieldMarshall06: In terms of political power, traditional power, culture and rights; the Hausa people must come first before the Fulanis. There could be no debate about this. Other minority tribes in the north must also come first before the Fulanis. It is an aberration that migrant Fulanis enjoy rights and privileges ahead of the indigenous Northern ethnic groups. Please let every Nigerian rise to correct this anomaly. And let the Northern tribes help themselves crack the fulani spell.
It is important that the Hausa people start differentiating themselves from the Fulanis. The term Hausa-Fulani is a slavery tool used to deceive the Hausas. The pure Hausa man has a kind and peaceful nature and is wholly Nigerian. The fulani man is violent and arrogant and is brotherly with wandering Fulanis in the maghreb. He considers the maghreb his brothers before the Hausa man. Hence, Hausa-fulani is a scam. Both are different ethnicities and share opposing values.
Please the Northern people need serious reorientation. And the least we can do is to help them. And they must help themselves too by uniting and looking their conquerors in the eyes. There are 50million Hausas to 4million Fulanis. All the Fulanis in the Africa are less than 15million. So the Hausas can overrun them if they unite.
The Hausa, Nupe, Igbira, Berom, Koro, Kadara, Langtang, etc must wake up and unite. There would never be Peace in the North until the Fulanis are put where they belong- which is at the bottom in Nigeria. You must Stand up for your natural rights. |

Spokesman of the Northern Elders Forum (NEF), Hakeem Baba Ahmed, has made it clear that he is not selling the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, to Northerners. In the report which was made by Daily Post, Hakeem Baba Ahmed said that he does not sell any candidate until the candidate meets his standards of a potentially good leaders. The NEF spokesman's statement came after a Twitter user accused him of marketing the former Anambra State Governor to the Northerners. The Twitter user claimed that Baba Ahmed would benefit if Peter Obi becomes President. The Twitter user said - "You need to understand that Dr Hakeem Baba Ahmed undoubtedly benefits more when Obi/Datti wins the presidency. However, he needs to sell Obi to Northerners to achieve this, thus, he is asking South-East leaders to condemn the attack so that he can tell Northerners that Obi can be trusted." In his response to the accusations, Baba Ahmed wrote on Twitter - "I do not sell candidates until they meet my standards of potential in good leadership. There is nothing in it for me personally." http:///s6bd47b83220815en_ng?link=1&client=news |
