What is the strangest trend in Nigeria? You're born. Your parents (& society) raise you. You go to school & church. Some of us do exceptionally well at school. All we get for that is applause from our schools, peers, family & immediate society. We have no Research & Development agencies to utilize those exceptional academic talents. Maybe…just maybe you get lucky to be hired by some big organization where your talent is reduced to company revenues. Oh! He works with Shell or Standard IBTC bank! But you don't actually create anything. You'd be lucky if you're allowed to still think outside the box or flex your intellectual muscles. We have no one seeking for those talents to utilize for some greater good of the country. But we have people hunting for beauty & power. Then what happens? We tell them to get married! We tell everyone to just strive to provide for their (future) families! Bleep the society! Just get married! Father & aunt are dying of cancer. The potential for cancer cure is in you but all everyone worries about is marrying you off. They just don't know any better. The entire society, both the young & old haunts/scorns your very existence until you get married. In all our lives, we're taught our duties to our parents, elders, priests/pastors, church/God but none about our society/country. I've never seen any sane society which only admires intellectual talent like it's a tolerable pet but does nothing with it. Nigeria does it, every day!! When those gifted Nigerians become frustrated with the system & walk out, we open our borders wide & help them leave. Then ready our mouths to claim them, “Chiwetel Ejiofor, Chimamanda Adichie, Sade, Asa, Nas etc. are Nigerians” How we love finished products?! Just like we consume the Gucci & Fendi…… Don't we just love not putting in the work but getting all the benefits? Nigeria!!! It is the strangest trend in Nigeria. What does human breastmilk taste like? Is it any good to the adult palate? From what I can recall (I've only tasted the ocasional drop of my own milk left behind on a finger after preparing a bottle of expressed milk), breastmilk tastes a lot like the sweet milk left behind at the end of a bowl of Frosted Flakes. Milky and sweet. It is so sweet due to the high lactose content: about 40% of total calories in breastmilk come from lactose. As for the second part of your question, that depends entirely on the individual adult's own palate. The milk does not taste bad, but there is a understandable psychological hurdle. I do know of an individual who regularly consumed expressed human milk while undergoing chemotherapy because of the immune benefits (he is doing quite well today, and his cancer has been in remission for several years). And of course, there are other adults who seek out breastmilk for reasons that have nothing to do with health... ;o) Source: https://www.quora.com/What-does-human-breastmilk-taste-like-Is-it-any-good-to-the-adult-palate Perfect Money/Payeer/Epay/Neteller/Skrill: ItuGlobal |

Why is the US embassy in Nigeria not issuing B1/B2 visa to Nigerians in recent times no matter how important or urgent their reasons for travel are? Are Nigerians currently blacklisted? No Nigerians are not currently blacklisted. I once answered this question before but I will summarize the answer again. The embassy is not relaxed due to demand in visas, Hence they receive so many applicants every day. US visa officers pay less attention to submitted documents, or they don’t even look at them. It is expensive and time demanding to verify documents. Therefore, they use your body language and circumstances to quickly take a decision and hand over the blue paper to you. Western Europe foreign missions most especially Germany always verify documents and based their denial on submitted documents. American Embassy is you and your confidence. It is sad that wrong people get visa approval and people with good intentions get visa denial. That is one of the reasons why we pray to God for a favor . One thing again is your reason for the visit? They also have statistics of those that were given visa in the past, if they returned and if they didn’t. On what purpose were they given visa?? All these pieces of information could be used to be biased about future applicants. In General, Visiting visa is the most difficult visa to get because you need to demonstrate to the VO that you gonna return home. This is a difficult task and Nigerian government ain’t helping because all foreign mission thinks all Nigerians wanna run away. That's the struggle of living in a Third world country Bro, Sad. I just cannot believe that this answer went so viral, Thank you all for reading and for this reason, I have decided to upload the blue paper that is usually given by the VO once your Visa is denied. If you check that law paragraph (214(b)) according to the US immigration law, It implies that the denied applicant is a potential immigrant. That means you need to really prove to them that you have strong ties to your country. What are considered strong ties to my home country? Ties are the various aspects of your life that bind you to your home country. Strong ties vary from country to country, city to city, and person to person, but examples include: Your job; Your home; and/or Your relationships with family and friends. While conducting visa interviews, consular officers look at each application individually and consider the applicant's circumstances, travel plans, financial resources, and ties outside of the United States that will ensure the applicant’s departure after a temporary visit. Because of bad governance in third world countries, It is not that always easy for the citizens to even prove strong ties to your own country. This is absolutely sad because freedom is something that everyone should enjoy. Many of these countries are also trying to discourage economic immigrants. If you put all these factors together, getting a visa to for some nationalities is just tough, but they did not blacklist Nigerians. I know that Indians, Bangladesh, and many other nationalities are also facing thes ame issue. I hope that I have now perfectly answered your question. Why doesn’t Lionel Messi leave Barcelona? Messi doesn’t need to, is a simple answer. Top 5 reasons I would reckon, Barcelona has been with Messi through thick and thin. Any club would have been? Perhaps. But Barcelona did since they scouted him. Jorge Messi who is Messi’s agent and father echoed this a million times. He gets offers a lot every year but he ignores them. Messi became Messi at Barcelona. From La Masia to Barca-B and Barca-B to Barca-A, he has turned into a beast. Thanks to his coaches and he is always indebted to the academy there. Messi doesn’t need to leave a great club with a great history just to prove that he can also play like himself in other leagues. He has been showing the world what he can do every year in big games with “big clubs”. There is a certain thing called Loyalty and it’s hard for them to leave their long term clubs. Xavi, Iniesta, Puyol, Ramos, R.Giggs etc never bothered to look out for offers. They’re content and there was no strong reason for them to move. Barcelona is home for Messi. His wife has a huge business there(thanks to her husband’s popularity), his kids are settled. No point in moving. I don’t really see a reason, let alone strong reason for him to make a move. Money? May be but he is already the highest paid Footballer on the planet. He will most likely finish his European career at Barcelona before moving to Argentina or MLS. It’s known that Sunday Igboho (Sunday Adeyemo) is not an ordinary human being. He has some supernatural powers and he’s performed many unbelievable feats. Gani Adams merited the post of Are Ona Kakanfo (Yourba Generalissimo). He’s a true and heroic son of Oduduwa. However, we’ve seen instances in which some past Ares had been humiliated or conquered or even murdered by those of lesser titles: Examples are: Ojo Amepo Afonja Kurunmi etc Nevertheless, Ares of those days had mighty powers. Likewise, Sunday Igboho has fought many dangerous battles and survived them all. Could we rightly say Gani Adams is more powerful than Sunday Igboho? Who was the strangest dictator in human history? Saparmurat Niyazov (President for life/Turkmenbashi of Turkmenistan from 1985 until his death in 2006) This guy was just the fucking most. Ol’ Sapar had a habit of branding his eccentricities everywhere from household names to government property. A few examples include: -Giving himself the title of “Turkmenbashi” - the Head of Turkmenistan. -Renaming all 12 months of the year after the supposed heroes of his great nation, which - surprise, surprise - included him, titling January Turkmenbashi. -Changing the word for bread and April to “Gurbansoltan” - the name of his mother. -Renaming the town of Krasnovodsk to Turkmenbashi. -Renaming several schools, airports and a meteorite after him and his family members. -Erecting a golden statue of himself in the capital of Turkmenistan (Ashgabat) that always rotated to face the sun. -Banning dogs from the same capital. -Requesting the building of an ice rink near Ashgabat, in a desert. -Controlling an official Turkmen media outlet to project a cult of personality. -Outlawing makeup on television anchors and long hair/beards. -Outlawing opera, ballet, and circuses. -Outlawing the chewing/smoking of tobacco in public places, suggesting people could chew on bones instead. This, coincidentally, came just a little while after he was forced to quit smoking. Bitter much? Though illiterate, he “wrote” a book, “Book of the Soul.” Religious institutions and schools had to give it equal respect as their original subject matter, teaching it to students and believers alike, or be destroyed. It was required reading for anyone wanting a driver’s license, and a copy of it would eventually be launched into space in the mid 2000s. Thankfully, after 21 years of the lunatics running the asylum, Ol’ Sapar would eventually suffer a heart attack in 2006. Rest in peace, madman. Those crime-prone scoundrels. Perfect Money/Payeer/Epay/Neteller/Skrill: ItuGlobal |
How bad are US prisons compared to prisons in the UK? I was arrested in Spain back in 2012 and spent 11 months in prison in Madrid before being extradited to the U.S. where I spent almost a further 5 years. The prison in Madrid was 100 times more humane than every jail and prison I was housed in in the U.S. I don’t have any direct experience of serving time in a British prison but had several friends who successfully transferred back to the U.K to serve the remainder of their sentences. Their feedback was that they were extremely happy to be back home albeit in prison, and that conditions were much more humane. The American prison system is brutal to say the least. Suicide in County Jails is extremely high compared to the rest of the population and one reason is that mental health institutions are closing down by the bucket load, meaning that the only alternative is to send these people to County Jails when they step out of line. The American prison system is big business and the statistics regarding the countries percentage population on a global scale compared to their prison population on the same scale is staggering. While the U.S. Accounts for less than 5% of the world’s population it actually accounts for around 22% of the world’s prison population. Whole towns have been built around prisons. It costs the tax payer around $30,000 USD per annum to house a federal inmate and not far off that for State inmates. Big business indeed. On a federal scale, the government certainly wants to squeeze every last dollar out of the tax payer as the early release policy only extends to around 12% reduction of the sentence for good behaviour. The British system has an automatic release policy after 50% of a sentence is served. What this means to the U.S prisoner compared to the British prisoner is that a six year sentence translates in real terms to 5 years and 3 months compared to 3 years respectively. Ultimately, I don’t recommend prison to anyone anywhere in the world, but if you are set on going make sure your crimes have no connection to the U.S! Can people really care less? |
The reality is, all what most policeman get for their jobs is their salaries – only their salaries. What those police officers use in the office – plus all office equipment and accessories are bought by their own monies. Therefore, when they’re transferred, they carry their office equipment along with them. Unless EFCC police, who’re well taken care of, most other policemen get nothing apart from their salaries. It may be said that allocations are made for other expenses that may be incurred in doing their jobs, e.g., investigation. But the reality is, the money doesn’t often get to where it’s really needed. The truth is this: You take a case to the police, and some officers are assigned to do investigation, take actions, do some things that cost money in your interest, etc. Do you now expect them to spend their salaries (which are not even enough for them) for your case? No governments have made any provisions for the expenses of your case, and as a result of that, if you’re police officer, can you use part of your salary to cater for the costs of a case that a complainant has brought to you? “No matter how diplomatic we were, it never worked. At the end of the day, there’s always someone who’s disappointed.” - Michael Ovitz It’s not new for a governor to lose second term elections against opponents, but it’s very rare (in Nigeria) for a sitting governor not to be endorsed for second term by his own party. Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has performed well, and the common masses will not hesitate to vote for him… But there are those who put their personal interests above that of Lagos State as a whole. The die is cast, and that is final. Ambode cannot run on APC platform , and he’s started good jobs he needs to finish. Now: 1. Can he simply run as an independent candidate, just as it happens in the US? Does the Nigerian constitution allow that? 2. Can’t he decamp to PDD immediately and refuse the pressure to resign until next elections? Would PDP welcome him, and use him to defeat APC in Lagos State? 3. Could this be the beginning of APC downfall in Lagos State? Perfect Money/Payeer/Epay/Neteller/Skrill: ItuGlobal |

I was pleasantly surprised by 9Mobile (Etisalat) 9Mobile, in my opinion, has the strongest and the most dependable Internet connection among GSM operators in Nigeria, especially where their services are readily available (I stand to be challenged). Recently, there was a poor Internet connection in my area, which had been going on for a few weeks. I called 9Mobile customer care and complained to them. They transferred my call to the relevant department, which called and recorded my complaints and location. Surprisingly, their engineers called me and came to my location the next day. They ran a check on the Internet network in my surrounding, did some settings on my phone and gave me specific recommendation. It was clear that if they needed to do something with their mast, they would have done that. They left and I was dignified. 9Mobile (formerly Etisalat) sent their engineers to my location – only because a long-time customer complained of poor Internet connection! This is unbelievable! Can you see the difference them and those networks that treat their customers like numbers? I don’t believe in adverts or hype. I believe in realities. A good company is known by how they treat their customers. I rest my case. Perfect Money/Payeer/Epay/Neteller/Skrill: ItuGlobal |
