so I just now successfully linked and confirmed prepaid card to iceland paypal following my visit to the bank yesterday - cos they asked me to allow the day lapse for the BVN problem. Looking now to verify Paypal with some proper documentation.

About your Paypal, don't know what to say cos I aint experienced using foreign Paypal. I just followed the video someone posted on Pg 894. Personally, I used my Glo line for that confirmation. I think this Africard works best with foreign Paypal (than other banks) that's why we opt for it. Lastly, If peradventure you take on opening a new iceland account and phoneline, u might as well use the UBA Prepaid card u have (provided you haven't used it before). plus, try using a PC. Cheers

Just tell them it prepaid card they will know what to do. You don't need to go to any headquarters. just find another UBA branch. You can't do transfer to the account.

Bro we're in the same boat. First, it took me close to a month to get mine. Got it this Mon, did the ATM pin change. Oya fund nau, see wahala..... network issues bla bla... I just left the place tired of dealing with their incompetence.
From my research, the card cannot be funded by other bank accounts except a UBA acct via internet banking, Africard to Africard and of course, the Tellers. But the tellers are always bad news either they're clueless, experiencing network failure or something. So try go to the Head Office as they say, if that fails, find someone who does UBA internet banking or has funds in his Africard to transfer. If you don't have anyone (like me), there's a guy who loaded mine with 2k but charges N552 for the service (because I wanted to avoid dealing with those guys at all cost). UBA deducted N1050 for the card.
My problem now is my attempt to verify my Iceland Paypal was denied by my Bank reason being I have 'Invalid BVN'. So, in the end, I still have to return to those peeps 'with a valid ID' to ask why my BVN was not captured from the form I originally filled...sighs

about the PayPal I have also been experiencing some hitches,to confirm my account after i have regiatered turn out to be wahala,they even sent a link to create a payment something...,but if I tried the link it will display that (page is not found) I have tried to reset my password but during the confirmation they sent some 6-digit code through my email because thats the option i choose to reconfirmed it is me, again they said they sent a text message through my number but I haven't been seing anything and I have been trying but its the same issue that text message will never show.To the extent that I have to call mtn call center and complain but my brother its the same issue too nothing change
I think the best option for me now is to buy another sim,open another Iceland paypal and upgrade my GT card I will go back to the Africard whenever I have enough cash.

That card is a special card, you can only send from Africard to Africard, and you can withdraw with it at any ATM, I have tried all and it worked, but don't do mistake of trying to deposit to the card your money will float

Go to any uba,meet the person that in charge of money gramm or western union.the person knows more about it.

Just obtain this card yesterday I tried to deposit the 2k but he be like say this people no know how to go about it,
The guy that issue me the card show me some ten digit numbers written in the top right corner of the guide inside the slip, starting with two zeros and told me to use the number while depositing, when I fill the deposit slip and move to the cashier the lady over there was like this is not UBA account.
I have to explain to her that one of their agent sent direct me to her it obvious she can't handle it and she direct me to the other guy in the other side when I reached to him he asked one of his Oga how to go about him because he seems to understand that its a prepaid card,so the Oga now told him to access one site like that las las he was unable to login,he then told me that I should go to their main branch they will be able to do it over there.
I asked him will it do if I transfer from my other account at GT bank he said yes,but I have tried yesterday even today it fails to do, pls is there any other way to fund this card?
secondly can I maintain a zero account? I mean to use all the money I deposited or I must maintain that 2k inside the account.

I got run to go grab UBA Africard, is the best card currently, is better than master card *10

So use Africard for anything dollar payment or funding online, leave yeye diamond.

The only thing diamond card can allow you do, is to fund your Skrill with dollar, and then use the Skrill to buy from dynadot.

pls what's the name of the africard(high something can't remember)but you once said it here and can one request for it even if he doesn't have account with Uba or it comes with an account.
