Jeeps don't survive in their country of origin, I wonder how it's suppose to survive on Nigerian soil. Toyota 4X4's are rugged and can tolerate skipped maintenance. They are reliable and durable also. This is honesty - Jeeps are not reliable. They also ride like trucks and seems to waste fuel. It's a cheaply built truck. |
@timedawg You may not get any feedback without popping the hood for others to see. Try giving an all-round view of the vehicle. There seems to be no wear on the headlight of the red camry. You'll get feedback on this note. Correction The V6 Camry's are thirsty vehicles |
ell77:Ell77 Millenia is not the only car with an electrical pump and wasn't even the first in the U.S. Mercedes' are fitted with Kompressors too. The S is the only model designed by Mazda. The L engine was designed and built by Ford of North America. Talk about fuel economy, any car driven by a camshaft is not going to be fuel conservative. Dethrottling is the only solution to improved fuel management. Manufacturers and tabloids issue ideas of saving gasoline that is no way practical to the principle that govern the entire "system." |
@Poster American cars run warm. You'll have to warm up to a certain temperature before selecting gear. Usually when the idle drops to 800-900rpm. Euro cars run cool but still need to warm up before taking off to allow components expand. Neglecting this will cause wear and tear because the gases cooled when the ignition is turned off is acidic. Cars built for higher octane will run only on higher octane. Using a lower octane for a heat engine specified for higher is monetarily not economical. You fuel wouldn't burn completely and above all, experience lower gas mileage or fueling up more frequent than it's calculated frequency. Premium octane burns slowly/cool while the regular or lower octane burns hot/faster. Cross matching from higher to lower octane will resort to engine knocks and pings. You won't want that happening in your luxury vehicle. Some cars (Volvo S70) will give you a check engine light with a vacuum leak error. wrt traffic: You are better off letting your engine remain idle at traffic than cranking your vehicle everytime traffic picks pace. You waste a lot of gasoline and battery power when cranking your vehicle. On the other hand, it isn't normal to leave your vehicle running at idle. It's termed cylinder washout. An hour of idle engine run is approx. 120 miles put on the engine and wear stress. Gasoline doesn't burn appropriately at this condition as well. The truth is that you cannot save gasoline beyond the capacity it is designed for. A gas guzzler will always be a fuel hog. Buying a smaller engine will only consume gas directly proportional to the size of a bigger engine. |
Volvo is not cheap and easy to maintain. Too many electronic issues, expensive parts and the car begins to fall apart after a certain age. You are going to replace your DSTC/ABS computer periodically. You shouldn't forget the throttle. Volvo is not a cheap car and you always have to keep up with maintenance lest it bites you. It's a fun car, comfortable, car's glued to the road and the body is steel. Volvo and Saab are the two most expensive cars on the road to maintain and uphold. You are better off with a BMW (as it's not maintenance demanding as Volvo is). I have no comments on Hyundais or korean made cars. |
Inspiring! He is into necromancy in some sort and false miracles. You need to hear the words of Suzie Hinn and the accusations against her. |
Benny Hinn is a complete fraud. I remember the staunt of Christ he pulled in Kenya that ended with Jesus leaving in a Mercedes Benz. Abstain from this preacher. His church in Dallas is another Hollywood paliarment. He is not teaching the gospel as given in the bible. |

You are welcome. The SE is the luxury trim of all models. |

Siena, Bettles are still sold in the United States. They are bought from Mexico (some tuned up). I think they are still in production there. The rear windows are larger now. That will be your best bet. I don't know about the specifications but enough to know where they are still made. Mexico is on the same equator at Nigeria and it's also a tropicalised region. |
The last editions of these vehicles were '95 for euro and '96 for US. From '94 to 96, the chassis was redesigned and had a isolated reverse indicator seperate from the entire tail light assembly. The steering wheel had integrated steering control that regulated sound system and auto climate control. The version posted is the first generation mitsubishi. The alloy wheels also depicts that it was of the early models released. The later generation of that vehicle had an 8-spoke alloy wheel that made a great deal of noise as you drove down the road. This chassis was the last made in Japan. The newer chassis were assembled at Australia and almost 300lbs lighter and completely revamped (which happens to be the current body style - only restyled). This vehicle has only one airbag. Dual airbags were made standard across all manufacturers in January of 1994. The moonroof was also standard on all trims from '94. |
This car has a flag |
Ayome123 SE isn't termed sport's edition. The SE denotes Elegant Package and not sports edition. The suspension setting for the SE is soft and biased towards extreme comfort. The SL's are sport/touring packaged designed for touring. They are fitted with larger brakes and stiffer suspension settings for a firmer/responsive ride (so they claim). The rides are usully rough but it's for it's precise handling and control. |
@playmate It was just plain with no meaning attached to it. |
Playmate Don't worry about it. Nothing proverbial and it wasn't an insult, just talking on the screen. ![]() Thumbs up! Peace |
Blood is thicker than water and the same blood flows from your ancestors down the tree. I'm a true Christian and I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Things exist that are complicated to the natural mind. Some people still practise these things yet they are of societal influence. That is how they make it to the top of the societal chain. |
@FemiATL I am trully proud that I spent lived in Lagos, lest you'll be narrow sighted about what life is all about. Many things transcends our understanding. It will be foolish to put them aside and assume it's at bay. You cannot have an egg of a snake and leave it in your basement/garage and conclude it doesn't exist or it's been there a long time now. |
Tats:I guess two testimonies are better than one. |
There is a Mobil head office at Victoria Island (don't really know where). Look for the mini mart. They stock Mobil synthetic oil. I strongly suggest you go for the Mobil1 brand since it's engineered for extended interval changes. Cautionm try getting the Mobil1 filter. There is no point fitting your vehicle with such oil and then regular filter. The filter cannot keep up with the extended stay of the oil. |
@Shinatu You are butter. Don't you ever call me that, besides, my grandparents are diabolically natured. They are grounded in the occult. I have experienced wickedness so I am not talking out of the book. I have gotten to know a few nigerians that are fetish. The common understanding is they are old or mid 50's. True enough, they are in their 20's. They belong to some cult. The truth in life is that you cannot excel without some form of power source. You'll be a mediocre through life. This life is all about being violent and sticking to it. It's not all about science. I am into science but the knowledge is limited. I meditate on the scriptures and it takes me far. Life is black or white with no gray. Living life carefree is a choice I recommend nobody to take. |
@playmate Didn't claim your accusations. Quit stressing on western thing, I used it as a landmark for reference. It isn't just Lagos where the unheard has been heard or unseen foreseen, the United States has it's reputation for such b'zire. I'm originally from Louisiana and the episode take a turn when New Orleans is made reference to. New Orleans is known as the city of Witchcraft and the source of decadence. Occultic practices are real and brushing it aside is stupidly awaiting danger. The reason why I spoke about education is because people refer to understanding dark mysteries as uneducation/ illeteracy and uncivilisation. That was why I used the joker of education. Not believing it doesn't erase its existence. There are darker insights that I won't stress about but true in life. With respect to nigerian americans, I meant that they believe in occultic manifestations, why wouldn't nigerian that air around it believe in it. If witchcraft can be studied as a course in which you'll be graded on (especially in the efficasy of spell casting), some of us will need to reconsider where we are coming from. My simple question before it was digressed was the terms of blood oaths and why people opt for it instead of proceeding as any simple person would. We are all a product of our ancestors. The bible also makes it clear that we are also responsible for the sins of our ancestors. I know way-back 11 generations on my Mom's side and 3 on my Dad's. We are all decendants ancestors that delved into occultism. Why do we shy from it? Many of the nigerians that I know are occultic (to some level). It is still passed down. |
I have seen them in lagos. I think they refer to them as reformulated. They might be called something else. When I resided in Lagos, my Dad used Mobil Synethics (we never had to buy it). It's almost twice or three times the conventional one but good. Try looking for Mobil 1 with Supersyn or Advance Syn technology. Those are synthetic oils. They might be branded at something else. Combining the abroad with nigeria, my Dad has been using synthetic oil since the mid 70's. Go around and ask. You can also have synthetic oil shipped to Lagos. Anything short of Mobil 1 or Amsoil would definitely not be wise. Nothing outperforms those two brands. I do my oil changes almost every two years and I never have problems. |
Blackhawk Since you seem to know so much about coolant grades. http://www.successfuldealer.com/apps/news/articlesd.asp?id=62268 BlackHawk: |
