Jeez! that Malian spoilt that near goal for us.

See the kind of serving I mean from their goal keeper, far into the opponent's area and away from your face.

High time they distracted them far from our goal mouth with a far far serving from Enyeama and good heading from players, they have played enough in front of our goal mouths. Distract them out of that place guys.

That Mali #15 gave a good chase/attack which is what i mean when i say the SE were not attacking and close marking good enough in their game with Ivoriens.

Here we are!
This is a kind of game they will need to score very early and weaken the confidence of their opponent from the start.
Now I don't hate Malians, it's only a game plan.
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Mali (AFCON 2013) - (4 - 1) On 6th February 2013 by Ivynwa(f): 9:23am On Feb 06, 2013
I am not being overly confident here, in all humility I know that we will scale through the match with Mali, a 4-2 match methinks.

I am watching the Ghana team in CNN now and heard one of them say that "it's their time to shine". In as much as I want to see Ghana shine, I know that our team will win an encounter with them too. So here we go, 6th feb is already here----we will be watching that match in less than 10 hours from now. Can't wait.

Guess Drogba is in the "adoration stage" and tripping over the SuperEagles right now. You know like all bullies, he first snobs you, threatens you and when you show him that he ain't as powerful and smart as he is thinking, he will simply begin to adore you.

Poster your link isn't opening though.
I read it here http://www.papsonsports.com/Blog2/Entry/nigeria-will-win-the-afcon-2013-says-drogba.html

Mad Cow: That Naija girl fall our hand.... Why she no use slap drop that white girl make doctors rush her enter surgery for brain damage.

Anyways, nothing spoil, uwa na agaga.

I almost got shot tonight by a three star Nigerian army general for standing my ground in Traffic this evening. He was running against traffic and I wouldn't move out of his way. At that moment, I had to wonder if I made a mistake returning to Nigeria. No where better jor. At least all the oyinbos can do to me is hate, the African man will go beyond hate and kill you. This woman was apprehended by nurses and patients, in my case, Nigerians simply stood by and watched as I faced off two army officers alone. She is going to jail for sure, me na mortuary I for end up and that general for use my death collect another star.

Hahaha your post made me laugh, I had a similar experience that had me angry at the unruly way some things work in our country. Don't make me remember that experience abeg. Thank God that in your case that trigger wasn't pulled after all.

toshmann: I had this conversation once:
Oyibo man: where are you from
Toshmann: Ohio. And you?
Oyibo man: I'm from Montana, but where are you from originally?
Toshmann: I was born in Nigeria, and where are you from originally?
Oyibo man: so you are nigerian. I was born in Colorado.
Toshmann: no, where are you from originally?
Oyibo man: Colorado
Toshmann: no no no, Colorado originally belongs to the native Americans, where did your ancestors come from?
Oyibo man: o, ok, my maternal grandfather is from portugal while my paternal grandparents are from Bulgaria.
Toshmann: ok, so you are BULGARIAN
Oyibo man: sort of( looking embarrased)
Toshmann: not sort of, that's what you really are( looking mischievous grin )

He has never called me foreigner again grin
When I was in a Country that is made up of Indians, Spanish, Syrians, our black brothers and sisters (who are descendants of the
slaves), Chinese etc who all came to that country through one way or the other. A native of that country once angrily told me something like "All ye foreigners" and I replied him that "we all including him came to be there", in other words he came there just like I did. WTFr*ak!

SportsRe: Ivory Coast Vs Nigeria - AFCON 2013 - (1 - 2) - On 3rd February 2013 by Ivynwa(f):
Josh090: Irregardless, you have to agree, he made plenty sense in that post.
Those teams did not come to sell ground nut.
Yeah boy!
These teams worked their hard to get there. I watched that Burkina Faso vs Ethiopia, the Ethiopians tried their best in the game especially one of their guys by name Shimelese who fought tooth and nail for a goal, I really wished he got a goal after all. It was a pity they got heaped with 4 goals and that does not mean that they did not play too. Sometimes luck sees teams through football games, dexterity and professionalism goes a long way too but football is as unpredictable as a WWE match (where anything can happen) and the strongest sometimes is surprised and beaten. It is not a game where people stand in one spot to orchestrate a goal, they all run around and their positionings sometimes may be out of sync for scoring a goal so it is a beautiful thing for people to run around like that and be able to synchronize and score.

Drogba's professionalism and "heaving on our team" on sunday's match did not make his team win us. In football things like good positioning, being at the right spot at the right time, good team work, luck etc work together to give a team a win and when that happens that does not mean that the opposing team can't play well too. All things didn't just work together for good for them like it did for the winning team. In Drogba's words in his recent release " Fans ought to know that football is sometimes funny and bizarre. Sometimes you play well and you lose and others time you don’t put up a good game but you win. We did our best, it didn’t work out. We’re taking responsibility and also thanking fans and asking them to bear with the team that better days are definitely ahead.
SportsRe: Man Dies Watching Nigeria Vs Ivory Coast by Ivynwa(f): 6:19am On Feb 05, 2013
People shouldn't be taking these games to heart, it's only a game and shouldn't affect people like that. I only enjoy the excitement of the moment and rejoice for any team that plays good game.

pato405: ..but what stopped the Nigerian student from answering the question first. I think the provocative way she answered it triggered the outrageous outburst. Typical Nigerian way of answering questions.

Q: Where are you from?

A: what does it matter where I'm from.

the lady from Spain answered directly 'I'm from Spain' she didn't bite her. I think she should have answered first and watched for the psycho woman's reaction. If she passes a compliment about Nigeria, then fine, else ....Maul her silly. I usually look at you directly in the face and tell you outrightly..'I'm from Nigeria', then I'll wait for your reaction. Anyway, they just smile and say Okay or nice.
ileobatojo: May I beg to differ? The woman was already in the middle of her outburst when she approached them with her questions. And, I think the provocative way the woman asked the question triggered the provocative answer she got.
Who goes about shouting at people asking them "Where are you from?" Replying her and giving her the answer she wants to a question asked in such direspectful manner means cowering in fear before her so my girl (Thompson) acted wisely in holding her head up and replying her like she did. The girl did her no wrong Ojare.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Nigerian Student Verbally Abused In A UK Hospital by Ivynwa(f): 4:36am On Feb 05, 2013
I like the Thompson girl for standing up for herself------now that's the Nigerian spirit.
We don't take shhhhhhh--------(sorry I don't like to use that word) stuffs. Nobody stands in our faces to intimidate us, no one dares us. Yeah!

10 million likes for Miss Thompson, whoever she is.

Damn!
I should have placed a bet on that game too cause I was very sure that we will win and was predicting 3-1 all along.
The game was supposed to be 3-1, e-e-e-m who was that player that missed a sweet ball he should have passed on to somebody else to score?---that was where the remaining goal i predicted escaped from, the game would have been 3-1 and i would have been made the second T.B Joshua. Lol.

Drogba is disrespectful and snaky, look at that his manipulation that earned them a goal.

Happy we won that match, i knew it's turning out positive.
Good game there. Now that we are out of the grips of the ivoriens,we are headed for the cup and i am positive too.
