In as much as you are trying to defend your own, better to let the matter lie.
I have been shocked by the degree of hatred being displayed by my fellow Nigerians. I love all my fellow Nigerians but I am sorry that these things going on in NL will make me think twice for my safety when I am dealing with other Nigerians because I know not what is in the heart. This is why I have been shouting against the tribalism E-fight going on, this is one of the effects. You read it and your eyes open to the hatred in others and you become wary and want to be careful. This is the effect it will have on our children and grandchildren that will read these, it can inspire hatred in the hearts of some of them who gives way to hatred. It is also capable of stirring bad feelings in the way people relate within the society.

All in all Kudos to Mr. Seun for not being swayed by tribalism even when persons like Shymexx that has handled tribalism in the forum maturely was also cursing Achebe. Our brothers and sisters that lost their roots during the slave trade look around and love their fellow Africans and we are all feeling like lil African gods and goddesses here defending our tribes and cursing out others. Please let's stop spreading hatred, those with hatred burning in their hearts already should exhale and fill their hearts with good thoughts. We are all sweet Africans and that is what matters. One love!

i say so cos chinua achebe nor I don't need a thread on NL as validation.inducting him into NL hall of shame out of bigotry doesn't reduce his achievement by one bit.it doesn't tarnish his image cos even those that voted him in that thread did so on personal hatred.it doesn't wipe out all his achievements,recognitions or countless awards he has scooped all his life in appreciation of his genius ways.if seun wants to close that thread(i understand where he's coming from), i think he should do a honourable thing by terminating this process entirely; both the forthcoming ones albeit closing that of last year's own cos by next year, when someone is voted into the hall of shame, his tribesmen will feel disgruntled and will cause chaos.so i insist that the thread should be opened or every subsequent threads of such be CLOSED.

What I find funny in the movie industry is that everybody is rushing off to be musicians and producers just because others are doing not because they really have a thing for that. When everybody becomes producers, wahala no go dey? Even Angelina Jolie, Beyonce, Ini Edo, Desmond Elliot, everybody are now producers. Lol. We musn't do stuffs because everybody is doing it, look at the name Nollywood, coined just like hollywood----can't they be themselves and find a cute name for their industry without sassying after hollywood as if they don't have a mind of their own.

Somebody even had to remake Oliver twist so that the people of his country who don't know the Naija names he is calling in Oliver twist can associate with names they know while enjoying that Oliver twist riddim (Kudos to the producer of that riddim too)---lol. This generation of Naija musicians Tuface, Dbanj, Psquare etc are all doing us proud.

If you are for real, it just occurred to me that you may be fretting and worrying too much. Just know that however things look now that it isn't the end of the world. I still think that it is better that you go meet her family with some mature friends/relatives before they come after you again like they did before. Whatever you agreed on concerning the baby, let the family know so that they will not be mad at you when they get to know what is happening. I won't advise you to abort the baby.

I was searching for some info on youtube and came across acid reflux videos that discussed the causes. I don't want to post video here so as not to make you panic poster, do discuss with your doctors and get started on your treatment. This particular video merely discussed how to control acid reflux by controlling the how and which and when of food intake. You still need to work with the doctors so you can read and still go for help from the doctors.

I once made an emergency call to them that my house was on fire...can you believe that they showed up without no water(mixed with retardant I would assume) in their trucks? Yes, without water, just empty trucks. I was damn furious but still looked at them with pity and asked...why did you show up in the first place? They said their routine was to connect their hoses to my water supply source/tap. I told the if I had no water, so my house would have burned down hah? Besides Tap water doesn't have the required pressure needed for combating fire and doubt if my street has fire hydrant or rather any where in Abuja. Very funny country and funny people.

Achebe has been called "the father of modern African writing",[134] and many books and essays have been written about his work over the past fifty years.
