I don’t know which payment platform is cheaper but I recently paid for the exam using Chipper virtual dollar card. The total cost was N165,000 - $210.65

Perezzoe:
Good afternoon everyone!,
Trust we all had an awesome day.

Pls I have a question?

1) which payment platform is cheaper to make payment for BCS certificate course due to conversion rate?.

I read about PayPal on BCS platform and someone told me about chipper.
Pls can anyone tell what he or she used recently to make payment for BCS exam or virtual payment platform that is cheaper and reliable to make payment?

Thank you for reading through this message.

I look forward to receiving your reply.

Yes, it's true that Research Method is a prerequisite for starting your project. Have you passed the course? If however your are lucky, your Study Centre may ignore the prerequisite

I haven’t written the exam yet, I’m writing it this semester. I was hoping to do the course and project at once
Education / Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Iwant2travel: 12:57pm On Jan 20, 2023
Hello Enskynelson,
Please I’d like to ask about the PGD project. I'm in second semester and I heard rumors that you can't register for project unless you have completed a particular course called operations research.
I would like to ask if I can register for my project alongside my other courses, so I can finish my PGD this semester.
Thank you

Hi there,
Does anyone know when the next academic session will commence at the National Open University?
And how long do diploma programs take to complete?
You can register for next semester in January. The post graduate diplomas usually last a year or 2 semesters

Enskynelson:

Yes. But u have to do semester registration (18k) and exams registration (1k per UG course and 2k per PG course), take all your TMAs before you write the exams. Registration closes on Wednesday 19th October. So, if u want to be part of the exams, do the registrations ASAP.
Cheers.
Thank you for responding. I can only see the registration for second semester on my portal, no link to register for the first semester I missed

Hello everyone,
Please I’d like to inquire if it’s possible to rewrite the first semester exam now (PS I couldn’t write the exam due to personal issues)
Education / Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Iwant2travel: 6:50am On Mar 05, 2022
Good morning!
Please I’d like to know if the TMA has a time limit for each course. For instance, do I have to answer all questions in a course TMA within a stipulated time of 1 hour or 30minutes?
Education / Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Iwant2travel: 10:27am On Mar 04, 2022
Thank you! I’d be patient
Enskynelson:

If you just registered recently, be patient, you will be able to login soon.
You may as well look up this thread as there is an e-mail provided for TMA support. Cheers.
Education / Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Iwant2travel: 7:51am On Mar 04, 2022
Good morning! Thank you for your quick response however, it’s still saying invalid login.
I don’t know what to do again

Enskynelson:

Username is you matriculation number in lowercase and it is the same as your initiating password.

Education / Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Iwant2travel: 7:34am On Mar 04, 2022
Good morning!
Please how can I access the elearn.nouedu2.net site, is the username and password my matric number? I have tried logging in but it keeps saying username not registered or something like that. This is my first TMA.
Thank you

Please guys what I wrote earlier was not to discourage anyone but to shade a light to how life it’s here, I’m raised in Sweden and my parents are Nigerians and I know it’s fucking hard here for most of my brothers and sisters here. So before making the decision to move here be loaded financially cos it’s hard as Bleep to integrate and to even get a job.

But were you really raised in Sweden?
Going through your profile it seems like you were not raised in Sweden as you’ve just claimed.
You once said you were a student of university of Calabar, then you moved to Turkey for undergrad, {assuming that’s even true}. You then applied for a visit visa to Germany, which gave you access to Sweden (Schengen visa), if you were born in Sweden you’d not need to apply for visa to Germany na. Then all of a sudden you became a Swede? How na, your story no add up.
But nice information anyway!

I am still an undergraduate in STEM and i hope on getting a scholarship abroad after graduation. any country with an active scientific/industrial base will be great.
I hope I get life changing information from here.

My advice to you as a STEM graduate is be ready to graduate with a first class result or at least a strong 2.1 because most scholarships are merit based. First class or 2.1 have better chances of getting scholarships.
Focus on achieving a good result for now

Please who has ever applied to university of Toronto?

Please I want to confirm if this email address from the school below is legit.
torontouniversityc@gmail.com.

Thank you

Absolutely not! Beware of scammers. Most official university email address are professional and paid versions i.e they don’t contain @gmail.com, example of a professional email address is john@myphotostudio.com . Which makes it different from the regular free version email address we use.

I have attached a link to the official website of U of T where you can get their contacts. Best of luck

Travel / Re: What Are The Benefits Of Having Two Degrees, Then Moving Abroad by Iwant2travel: 7:43am On Jan 28, 2021
It gives you an edge when you’re using the express entry for federal skilled worker route and if you have over 3 years work experience in the National Occupational Classification (NOC). 2 or more degrees give you extra points compared to someone who has just 1 degree in the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) tool.
Fill the CRS tool to know your score:
https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

Check if your work experience or degree falls under the NOC

Do you have to do block account like in Germany?

To the best of my knowledge, I don’t think so.
The school I checked out states that you have to show proof of fund from your bank statement or your sponsor’s bank statement. And you’d have to transfer the money to the school’s account, then when you get to Norway for your semester, the school will transfer the money back to you.

Yeah, it’s tuition free but you have to provide proof of find that you can support yourself through your study. The proof of fund is usually NOK 123 519 which is roughly 5.5 million Naira.
