Exodus15v11:
Reincarnation goes against my Christian beliefs nor do I personally believe in it. I would suggest praying over her or taking her for deliverance.

How is reincarnation against the Christian belief when even Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of our faith acknowledges it?

Matthew 11: 13 - 15 is clear about it and it is a direct statement by Jesus Christ.

"13. For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.
14. And if you are willing to receive it, he is Elijah who is to come.
15. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

Also meditate on John 8: 56 - "Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad."

Pray for the Holy Ghost to give you understanding on this issue.

Business / Chief-of-staff, Finance Minister Laud Indorama’s Investment In Fertilizer by iwatchandlisten(m): 6:07pm On Apr 10, 2022
Chief of Staff to the President, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari and the Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning Dr (Mrs) Zainab Shamsuna Ahmed, have commended Indorama-Nigeria for its immense contributions to the Presidential Fertilizer Initiative (PFI) in the past five years.

Prof. Gambari also said that Indorama Fertilizer Limited has been a major supporter of President Buhari’s agricultural revolution with its production of 3 million metric tons of Urea per annum through its two world-class fertilizer plants in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

A statement by Dr Jossy Nkwocha, head, corporate communications for Indorama Nigeria said the two government officials spoke on Saturday 9th April 2022 when they visited the Petrochemicals and Fertilizer plants of Indorama-Nigeria in Eleme, Rivers State in the company of Managing Director/CEO of the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA), Mr. Uche Orji.

Prof Gambari said they were quite impressed with Indorama’s huge investments in petrochemicals, fertilizer, gas pipeline, port development and allied utilities, which the company put at 3.5 billion US Dollars.

The Chief of Staff noted that Indorama’s vision is in line with President Buhari’s economic diversification agenda.

He added that they were impressed with Indorama’s vision to build Africa’s largest petrochemicals and fertilizer hub in Nigeria.

“The government will support all genuine initiatives at industrializing the country and supplying fertilizers to millions of farmers across the country,” he said.

He also said the Federal Government is happy that Indorama-Nigeria has in the past few years become a major exporter of fertilizers to earn foreign exchange.

On her part, the Finance Minister, Dr Ahmed said her visit has awakened her interest in what can be achieved for the country through the development of the gas value chain.

Managing Director of Indorama-Nigeria, Mr Manish Mundra and other top Management team, had earlier taken the trio and their entourage on facility tour of the massive Indorama industrial complex.

After seeing the massive investments and operations fuelling Nigeria’s industrialization and agricultural revolution, the Chief of Staff said: “indeed seeing is believing, we have come, seen and are very impressed”.

Earlier, Mr. Mundra, in a presentation noted that despite the spiralling price of fertilizer in the international market, Indorama is ensuring that Nigerian farmers get the commodity at the cheapest prices in the world.

“Indorama has been at the forefront of supporting the Presidential Fertilizer Initiative by supplying urea on a timely basis.”

He added that the company’s future expansion plan of $3 billion investment will make Nigeria the largest petrochemicals hub in Africa by 2026.

Religion / Voice Of Christ Today - The Heart To Please God by iwatchandlisten(m): 10:00am On Mar 10, 2022
Good morning All,

Topic: THE HEART TO PLEASE GOD.
Read: 1 Kings 3:5-15.

"Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad…" (1 Kings 3:9).

When God said to King Solomon in a dream “Ask what I will give you” his answer was based on his appreciation for all that God had done for him. Solomon realised the great responsibility that was given to him to lead God’s people.

He was humbled, and thus asked for understanding in order that he might lead the people with the fear of God and justice. He could have asked for the neck of his enemies as other kings would have asked, but he chose divine wisdom and it pleased God.

King Solomon prayed for a discerning heart so that he could govern the people and determine the difference between right and wrong, good and evil, justice and unfairness. God not only granted this request, but added far more than Solomon asked, making him the wisest and richest King to have ever ruled the nation of Israel. When our thoughts and desires please God and we ask in sincere prayers, He will speedily grant what we ask and even add more.

We cannot deceive God in our prayers because He sees and knows the true state of our hearts. We may deceive men, but God is the One that rewards and brings to pass what we ask for in prayers. You cannot bring forth good works from an evil heart and can certainly not please God with that evil heart. So renew your heart daily with God’s word and be filled with good thoughts so you can bring forth good works also.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, give me the grace not only to follow but also to please You all the days of my life with my thoughts and actions. This I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Religion / Voice Of Christ Today - Come To God In Faith by iwatchandlisten(m): 6:19am On Mar 09, 2022
Good morning All,

Topic: COME TO GOD IN FAITH
Read: Hebrews 4:14-16

"Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need" (Hebrews 4:166).

When many people face challenges in their lives, they give several excuses for not praying. Some claim they were
too busy trying to resolve the matter that they forgot to pray. Some say they felt capable of solving the matter on their own and so didn't want to bother God with it. Some say they saw their matter as too small or their fault, hence God will not listen to their prayers. And when solme eventually
pray, they do so more out of obligation than with faith that God will answer them.

God hears all our prayers. However, He sees the heart and motive behind every prayer and decides which ones He answers, when He answers and how He answers for our eventual good. What we must note is that God is quick to attend to the prayers of His obedient children who diligently seek Him with all their hearts and who present their prayers to Him with strong faith, believing that He not only hears them, but can and will grant what they have asked for.

Christ Jesus told His disciples that if they had faith as small as a mustard seed, they would move mountains. A small measure of faith can have an amazing impact in our lives. As we begin to pray with faith, we will also begin to witness God do the impossible in our lives. We should note that God answers our prayers in diverse ways. It may not always be the way we imagined, but His best is always at Work.

PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, give me confidence to come before You in prayer. Enable me to trust in You and rely on You for answer requests. This I pray, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen

Religion / Voice Of Christ Today - Qualities Of A Christian Woman by iwatchandlisten(m): 4:42am On Mar 08, 2022
Good morning All,
Date: Tuesday, March 8, 2022
Topic: QUALITIES OF A CHRISTIAN WOMAN
Text: Read: Proverbs 31:10-31

"Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies" (Proverbs 31:10)

As a married woman, are you a truly devoted Christian wife? Are you faithful in small and great matters? Can your husband trust you? Are you a good home manager, financially prudent and a godly and wise counselor? Do you speak in wisdom always to encourage and cheer your husband and children? Are you prayerful, spiritual and heaven-minded? As a single lady, are you truly spending your time in devotion to Christ? Are you serving Him with all your heart? Are you abstaining from pre-marital sex? Are you helpful at home and respectful towards your elders? If you have siblings, do you relate well with them?

Whether young or old, single or married, no woman can become complete and fulfilled without being empowered by God. It is this empowerment that gives her the inward capacity for spiritual insight, power and a reservoir of new life. The inward impulses which were formerly disordered become re-ordered into a peaceful disposition when fully submitted to Christ. She becomes a wonder and a blessing to behold. Women were created specially to complement men, not compete with them. Women have qualities and abilities that are specially imbued in them by God, thus making them unique.

A true Christian woman is to totally submit to the will of God at all times and in all things. If shes married, shes then to submit to the headship of her husband in the LORD as Sarah demonstrated towards Abraham. God desires each of His daughters to possess the qualities and characteristics outlined in our Bible reading for today. So if any of those qualities are missing in you as a woman, you need to pray that God may bless you with them.

*PRAYER*
Heavenly Father, help our women to be filled with all the good qualities that You want all true daughters of Yours to have; we pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Romance / Voice Of Christ Today - Let There Be Light by iwatchandlisten(m): 6:36am On Mar 07, 2022
Good morning Beloved Brethren,
Date: Monday, March 7, 2022
Topic: LET THERE BE LIGHT
Text: Read: Genesis 1:1-5

"And God said, let there be light: and there was light" (Genesis 1:3)

When there is physical light, we all can see clearly and do things properly as opposed to when we cannot see in the dark and thus cannot undertake any task as intended. In addition to illumination, light signifies different things to different people. For the unmarried, light is when they find the right partner. For the barren, light is when they give birth to children. For the jobless, light is when they get a job that pays the bills, and so on and so forth.

After God created the light, He saw that it was good, same way people see as good whatsoever they longed for as light, when it comes to pass in their lives. So if we are all happy when our light comes into being, how can we ensure that this light of ours will always be there; bright, shinning and helpful, not just to us but to others who also need that light?

Gods word brought light into this world and Gods word is also what keeps that light on. So if you want that which you see as light in your life to shine, hold on tightly to God and His word and your light will come forth. To turn on your light and keep it shinning, you have to avoid things that dim the spiritual light: these include sins of all types and doubts in God. The Word of God in you will keep His light burning and shinning bright inside of you. When you fill your heart with light, darkness will have no hiding place. When darkness and sins are not in your heart, your consecrated life will enable you to serve God better.

*PRAYER*
Gracious Father, enable me to walk in Your light and truth, not in darkness, evil and deceit; I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Good morning Beloved brethren,

Topic: GAIN GOD'S ATTENTION WITH PRAISE
Read: 2 Chronicles 20:1-30

"And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir" (2 Chronicles 20:22)

King Jehoshaphat and the nation of Israel had to make a defining decision. They were about to be attacked by two
great enemies with very large armies, and from where Israel stood, there did not appear to be a way of escape. King Jehoshaphat immediately declared a season of fasting and prayers. The entire nation gathered to seek help from God, to save them from destruction and God did not disappoint them. They didn't even need to fight; all they did was sing and praise God and He gave them great victory over their enemies.

God inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3). And when God inhabits a place or person, there is great calm, peace and victory over all enemies. So we need to always invite God into every situation and the best way to do this is through praises and thanksgiving unto Him.

Rather than bury your head in fear, worry or sorrow over the threats of the enemy or over the tough and challenging situations before you, choose to lift your voice in praises to God. The devil hates to hear words of praises spoken unto God, because he knows it attracts God's attention and presence and when God turns His attention on the situation of any man, defeat is sure for the devil and his agents. So, come to God with thanks-giving and praises always and you will see all your problems rolled away in no time. Complaining might draw people's attention to you, but praises to God is what draws His attention to you and solves your problem.

PRAYER:
Almighty Jehovah, thank You for always granting us victory over the enemy whenever we call on You. Give us the heart to always praise You; we pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Religion / Voice Of Christ Today - SHARE YOUR TESTIMONY by iwatchandlisten(m): 6:39am On Mar 01, 2022
Good morning Beloved brethren,
Date: Tuesday, March 1, 2022
Topic: SHARE YOUR TESTIMONY
Text: Read: 1 Corinthians 2:1

"declaring unto you the testimony of God" (1 Corinthians 2:1)

A song writer once wrote: the battles you have fought and the victories won, let us hear you tell it over once again, it will help them on their way who have just begun, let us hear you tell it over once again; we are striving now with the host of sin, soon with Christ our Saviour we shall reign; ye ransomed of the Lord try a soul to win, let us hear you tell it over once again.

We all have testimonies of Gods goodness in our lives. God has been faithful to us, keeping His words and promises and delivering us from evil snares. However, there are some people currently going through similar experiences like the ones God already enabled us to overcome. This is why our testimonies are needed; to encourage and strengthen those going through tough times and challenges. Some people already feel that their situations are hopeless.

Sharing your testimonies of how God had helped you out of similar or even worse situations gives them hope that they too can overcome. It is one thing to have challenges and it is another thing to handle them well. Your testimonies can help to prevent others from wrong handling of their situations and save them from deeper pain.

God wants us to shine the light of the gospel to the world through the testimonies we share. Hiding your testimonies is a denial of the love, favour, blessings, power and protection of God over you and your family. It is a sign of ungratefulness for what God has done and is still doing in your life. Learn not to complain, but rather praise, thank and always be grateful to God. Learn to joyfully testify of Gods goodness, not in pride, but in appreciation of Gods evident love.

*PRAYER*
Almighty Jehovah, thank You for all You have done for me and my family. Help me to testify about it to others and give all the glory to You; I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Topic: LOVING HIS APPEARING
Read: 2 Timothy 4:6-8

"…there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord… shall give me at that day… unto all them also that love his appearing (2 Timothy 4:cool"

Apostle Paul remained faithful to Christ and the task of spreading the Gospel: he endured till the end and the Holy Spirit assured him of God’s loving approval and crown of righteousness awaiting him in heaven. Likewise, God has reserved great rewards for all who remain faithful to Jesus Christ and His message of truth and dreadful judgment for unrepentant sinners (2 Corinthians 5:10).
The early believers lived with a deep longing for Christ’s return to take them from this ungodly world to be with Him forever in Paradise. This same hope is what all faithful Christians have. A crown of righteousness awaits all true believers who have exhibited righteousness in their service, spread the Gospel, endured every persecution, remained faithful till the end and eagerly longing for His second re-appearing as the King of kings.
Are you eagerly awaiting Christ’s return? Are you working towards His warm and loving embrace at Rapture? Are you busy winning souls for Christ that will make up the stars on your crown? Are you daily showing love, kindness and mercy to all men as instructed by Christ? Are you living in absolute obedience to the commandments of God? Ask yourself, what am I doing daily as a true believer in preparation for the re-appearing of Christ? Do not let that re-appearing meet you in sin and unrepentance; it will be too late then. So act now, while you still can.

PRAYER
Dear LORD, please help me to remain loyal and faithful to You. Enable me to spread the message of truth entrusted to me as a believer; I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Religion / Voice Of Christ Today - Learn To Be Content by iwatchandlisten(m): 3:52am On Feb 27, 2022
Good Morning Beloved Brethren,
Date: Sunday, February 27, 2022
Topic: LEARN TO BE CONTENT
Text: Read: Philippians 4:10-13

"Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content" (Philippians 4:11)

The dictionary defines contentment as a state of happiness and satisfaction. This is neither based on ones riches, health, political or social status, but based on ones state of mind. If contentment was based on material possessions, political power or whatsoever, then the rich and politically powerful would be content; but we all know that is not the case. Actually, many who are rich are never content; they always want more. Many in authority and power never stop aspiring for more power and would do all they can to remain in power forever, if they could.

When a mans heart is filled with gratitude and thanksgiving for what he already has, he will always live in contentment. Mind you, continuously working hard for self-improvement and status upgrade is not a show of lack of contentment, but a normal process of life to maintain progress. But when that upgrade is all you focus on, against the welfare and wellbeing of others, then it becomes selfishness and greed; and this is where all of mans problems begin.

Apostle Paul is a good example of a man who did Gods work and was satisfied with what he had; he was contented with his income and lived according to what he earned from his tent-making business. He decided not to burden the church with his own needs, even though the church was willing to cater for him. We should learn to be grateful for what God has already blessed us with and seek for ways to be blessings unto others. This is vital because a mans life and salvation in Christ does not depend on the abundance of his possessions (Luke 12:15).

*PRAYER*
Dear LORD, please bless me with a heart of contentment and gratitude for what I already have; I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Religion / Guard Against spiritual Blindness by iwatchandlisten(m): 6:26am On Feb 26, 2022
Good Morning Beloved Brethren,
Date: Saturday, February 26, 2022
Topic: GUARD AGAINST SPIRITUAL BLINDNESS
Text: Read: Matthew 6:22-23

"The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single thy whole body shall be full of light" (Matthew 6:22)

Christ Jesus taught us that the eye is the light of the body. It is through the eye that the body receives illumination to see. If the eye is good (single), the whole body will be flooded with light. But if the eye is bad (evil), then vision is impaired. Instead of light, there will be darkness. The eye being referred to here is not the physical eye made of flesh. The eye of a man is his mind.

If a mans mind is full of goodness that man will be filled with the light of God and will radiate that light to all men. On the other hand, if a mans mind is full of evil that man will be full of darkness and will further exhibit that darkness to all men in words and deeds. When a man chooses to live in evil and darkness, that man becomes blind spiritually as forces of righteousness will cease to communicate with him. No revelation of goodness comes to a mind full of evil.

Spiritual blindness is the worst state of any man who is still physically alive on this earth. Such a man merely exists, not living; since the forces of darkness can do with him as they please. Spiritual blindness is what leads most men into sad and unfortunate accidents. We can save ourselves from many troubles and sorrows by being spiritually aware, informed and guided about what already happened, is currently happening or is about to happen in the physical. Sin clouds our mind and keeps us in the dark, so let go of sin, depend on the Holy Spirits leading and you wont walk in darkness (John 8:2).

*PRAYER*
Gracious Father, please purify my mind with Your Word and make my eye single. Fill me with Your Light; I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Business / Autogas: FG To Convert 200,000 Vehicles, Plans 580 Refueling Centres by iwatchandlisten(m): 12:14pm On Jan 25, 2022
• Promises 50% infrastructural support to oil marketers

The Federal Government on Monday met with oil marketers in the downstream sector to perfect plans for the full deployment of autogas in filling stations and the conversion of 200,000 commercial vehicles to run on gas this year.

At the meeting, which was convened in Abuja by the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Chief Timipre Sylva, the government unveiled the 2022 Framework for the deployment of CNG (Compressed Natural Gas, popularly called autogas) in Nigeria.

Senior officials of the Major Oil Marketers Association of Nigeria, Depot And Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria, as well as other key players in the downstream sector attended the meeting.

Sylva told his guests that the government was out to ensure that it made available the alternatives required before the removal of subsidy on Premium Motor Spirit (petrol), stressing that the deployment of autogas was one of such key alternatives.

He also stated that the government would be supporting them with 50 per cent of the conversion kits to fast-track the process, adding that additional support as required would be given, going forward.

“We said we must provide alternative fuel and the alternative that we concluded on was the autogas alternative. To provide it for our people,” he stated.

He added, “Since this agreement between us (government and marketers), a lot of work has been going on and we have come to a certain point where we need to take it further. But we cannot move further without ensuring that you as our partners are fully on board.”

In the framework, the government explained that with abundant gas reserves of about 206.53 trillion cubic feet, a population of about 200 million people, and the enactment of the Petroleum Industry Act, which eliminated the continuous absorption of petrol subsidy, it was now vital to deploy autogas.

It stated that its priority now was the rapid and strategic introduction of Natural Gas Vehicles as an alternative fuel for transportation in Nigeria in line with the approved National Gas Policy.

“This will pave the pathway to full deregulation of the downstream petroleum sector in Nigeria, while reducing the effect of deregulation on transportation costs,” the document read in part.

It added, “The Ministry of Petroleum Resources was charged with the responsibility to provide autogas (LPG, CNG, LNG) as an alternative and competitive fuel for mass transportation

“CNG was selected as the fuel of choice because it holds a comparative advantage due to its ease of deployment, its comparatively lower capital requirements, commodity’s supply stability, existing in-country volumes, and local market commercial structure which relies predominantly on the naira.

“Hence a single track CNG deployment is proposed in the initial phase and other alternatives can be considered as the market attains maturity.”

Three implementation options were highlighted in the document, as the government stated that in the first option, its target was to convert one million public transport vehicles and install 1,000 refueling centres within 36 months.

For the first 18 months it targets to achieve 500,000 conversions and 580 refueling centres supplied by five Original Equipment Manufacturers, among other targets.

In the plan, the government targets to convert 200,000 commercial vehicles this year, including tricycles, cars, mini-buses and large buses.

The cities captured in Phase 1 of the project include Abuja, Kaduna, Kano, Kogi, Kwara, Lagos, Ondo, Oyo, Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Niger, and Rivers.

Cities under Phase 2 were listed as Sokoto, Katsina, Jigawa, Borno, Bauchi, Gombe, Yobe, Osun, Ekiti, Enugu, Anambra, Imo, Cross River, Abia, Akwa Ibom and Plateau. For Phase 3 cities, they were listed as Kebbi, Zamfara, Yobe, Gombe, Taraba, Adamawa, Benue and Ebonyi

On the selection criteria for network operators, the government stated that the marketer must own and/or operate a minimum of 21 stations nationwide.

The dealer must own and/or operate a minimum of five stations in each proposed city and must be willing to demonstrate creditworthiness and the ability to pay back within the stipulated timeframe.

The Executive Secretary, MOMAN, Clement Isong, told the minister that marketers were willing to partner with the government and expressed delight in the government’s resolve to support marketers with 50 per cent of the required conversion kits.

Business / Nigerian Exporters Get Boost To Tap $400bn Amazon Market by iwatchandlisten(m): 3:55pm On Jan 24, 2022
The Export Expansion Facility Programme and Export and Sell Limited have partnered to empower non-oil exporters with skills needed to expand their operations and explore over $400bn monthly sales market on Amazon. The EEFP is being implemented by the Nigerian Export Promotion Council, according to a statement.

It said part of the partnership would enable both institutions o train the non-oil exporters on how to label their products to meet US regulators’ requirements, warehousing of the product as well as listing and sales, among others.

According to the statement, the EEFP is geared towards disbursing N50bn export development fund that is part of the Federal Government’s N2.3tn Economic Sustainability Plan. It said the scheme had supported over 1,100 businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

It said the NEPC had also facilitated a business focused on capacity building, training Nigerian businesses on the rudiments of improving their exports.

The statement said Export and Sell had also been tasked with training and on-boarding over 10,000 Nigerian businesses on Amazon.

The Chief Executive Officer, Export and Sell, Nduka Udeh, said all the partners had seen the need for training to help Nigerians to improve their export earnings by embracing online training that would enhance their knowledge of the export business.

“There is a difference between just putting your goods on a plane and having someone ship it and doing the right thing,” he said.

According to him, doing the right thing entails products meeting the quality for export which ensures that products from Nigeria are not rejected in the ports of other countries.

According to Udeh, helping businesses to export has a huge multiplier effect across the economy by increasing the volume of export earnings.

EEFP’s Programme Coordinator, Maureen Ideozu, said to capitalise on Amazon’s $400bn market, it was important to have Nigerian businesses listed on big e-tailers like Amazon US.

She said, “When made-in-Nigeria listed businesses can bolster their revenue and earn in dollars, it improves their ability to scale, create employment and broaden their tax remittance to the Nigerian government.”

According to the statement, so far, the EEFP has through the EDF increased Export and Sell’s training capacity from 1,000 business to over 10,000. It said with funds from the grant, the company had launched an online training platform and had also secured a training facility in Lagos.

The nation’s external reserves declined for the eleventh consecutive week to $40.39 billion last week.

The reserves had been on the downward trend since October 29th, when it peaked at $41.828 billion, after 12 weeks accretion courtesy of the $4 billion Eurobond auction proceeds last September and surge in price of crude oil.

Data from the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, showed that this trend persisted in the first three weeks of the year, falling to $40.376 billion on Wednesday last week from $40.510 billion at the end of December last year. This indicates a year-to-date decline of $144 million as at Wednesday January 19th.

This also indicates that the reserves have fallen by $1.45 billion in 11 weeks since October 29th.

The trend, according to analysts, is fuelled by increased foreign exchange supply by the CBN, in its bid to stabilise the exchange rate.

Projecting that the downward trend will persist and further impede the ability of the apex bank to intervene in the forex market, analysts at Financial Derivatives Company stated: “The gross external reserves is expected to maintain its downward trend especially as visiting family and friends leave and dollar inflows dwindle. However the impact of this is expected to be offset by higher oil prices.

“Falling external reserves impedes the CBN’s ability to intervene in the foreign exchange market. In addition, the impact of travel bans will continue to negatively impact forex supply. Forex shortages amid high demand will lead to a depreciation in naira at the forex markets.”

Education / London School Of Public Relations Launched In Nigeria by iwatchandlisten(m): 11:34am On Jan 21, 2022
London School of Public Relations launched in Nigeria

After months in the making, the London School of PR (LSPR) Nigeria has been launched and will be offering a variety of courses including Fundamentals of Public Relations diploma programmes, and other shorter courses focusing on brand building, reputation and risk management.

The courses, to be delivered by World-class trainers from Europe, the United States and Nigeria, are being offered at a specially discounted price for all starter courses. LSPR Nigeria is a partner company to the London School of PR in the UK.

The school has been delivering world-class training in the UK and globally since 1993, recognised in academia and the PR industry as one of the finest training establishments.

The school was founded by Professor John Dalton, biologist, communications specialist and UK business leader.

“I and my team in London are delighted that this initiative has finally come to fruition. We believe the school will be very successful in Nigeria given the position of the country in terms of its GDP, economic growth and educated workforce.

“We already have a successful operation in Ghana and expect our Nigerian business will be equally fortunate”, Dalton commented.

LSPR Nigeria is headed by entrepreneur Charles Edosomwan, who has led advertising and digital marketing company Teksight Edge for the past 8 years using data and technology to drive brand engagement and customer acquisition.

He said: “I am excited to be leading LSPR in Nigeria and I am looking forward to delivering our first courses next month. We have a team of excellent trainers who are experienced in both the virtual and the traditional classroom environments.

“The PR Landscape in Nigeria suffers from competency and standard issues especially with regards to professionalism and barrier to entry. We have the support of local business leaders and academia to ensure that professionals and business people in Nigeria can have access to world class training.”

Public relations and reputation management have grown exponentially in Nigeria. The discipline is considered key to business success, and many senior PR executives across the country are key advisors to their boards of directors and strategic management.

Today, public relations professionals must understand finance, management, public affairs, social media, risk management, and technology. They need to keep their pulse on international affairs as well.

LSPR Nigeria will be an excellent approach to the growth and development of PR in the country. PR is considered a highly desirable career option, but up to now, there are very few reputable institutions in the country offering accredited courses.

An institution as reputable as LSPR and accredited by the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in the UK is bound to add real value to help individuals and organisations employ effective methods to solving issues in business.

LSPR Nigeria will deliver practical and thought-provoking training initially virtually and later in the traditional classroom environment in Lagos and Abuja. Port Harcourt will follow in 2023.

Education / New Taxes On Education Spur Hike In Tuition by iwatchandlisten(m): 1:29pm On Jan 18, 2022
The introduction of Corporate Income Tax (CIT) on companies that engage in educational activities may trigger a hike in tuition and may have an adverse effect on human development, analysts say.
The 2021 Finance Act provides that companies engaged in educational activities are now subject to corporate income tax regardless of whether such activities are of a public character.
Professional services firm, PwC Nigeria says the provision is one of the key changes in the 2021 Finance Act, in a blog post. The new tax rules take effect on January 1.
The current Finance Act also increased the education tax payable by Nigerian companies from 2 percent of assessable profits to 2.5 percent.
“I struggle to know why we are taxing the education system because everything points to the fact that we need more education not just in terms of the quantity but the quality and depth of education for us to lead in this new age,” Taiwo Oyedele, a West Africa Tax Leader at PwC Nigeria said at the Nigerian Economic Outlook 2022 organised by the King’s Court, Redeemed Christian Church of God on Saturday.
Oyedele said tuition fees are likely to go up making education less affordable and this could have a long-term impact on human development.
“We need to find other safeguards to ensure that this does not create a bigger problem than the solution we want to address,” he counselled.
Commenting in the same vein, Ayodeji Ebo, Head, Retail Investment, Chapel Hill Denham noted that the tax will create an additional burden on parents.
“Nigerians are still struggling to cope with the current school fees. It may lead to more school drop-outs because it will become more unaffordable and have more people unable to cater for their children’s education which will lead to more insecurity,” Ebo said.
A corporate tax is a levy which the government imposes on the income of a company. The CIT rate had hitherto been zero percent for companies with gross turnover of N25 million or less, 20 percent for companies with gross turnover greater than N25 million and less than N100 million, and 30 percent for large companies above N100 million.
Nigeria’s economy has witnessed two recessions within the past five years owing to the collapse of oil prices, disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The contractions have weakened consumers’ purchasing power, caused job losses, eventually threw millions into poverty.
According to the World Poverty Clock over 90.1 million Nigerians are now living in extreme poverty, up from 82.9 million three years ago.
Last year, in a report, the World Bank stated that poverty was pushing young Nigerians to quit school early for menial jobs.
“Youth responded to both the 2016 oil recession and Covid-19 crises by leaving school earlier to enter the labor market, thus increasing overall labor supply,” the Bank stated.
It also added that leaving school early to find work could affect the country’s human capital stock, notably through declines in educational attainment.
“The people that will suffer are the most vulnerable and the low-income bracket which will worsen the level of out-of-school children in Nigeria,” Damilola Adewale, a Lagos-based economic analyst said.
Nigeria’s performance in human capital development has not been remarkable. According to the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the country dropped three positions, ranking 161 in 2019 from 158 in 2018 among 189 countries in Human Development.
Also, over the past few years, budgetary allocation to education has not been more than seven percent of its total budget. It is no wonder that the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) said the country has the highest out-of-school children in the world.

Health / CDC Warns Americans NOT To Get J&J Shot Over Blood Clot Risk After Nine Deaths by iwatchandlisten(m): 1:12pm On Dec 17, 2021
CDC warns Americans NOT to get J&J shot over blood clot risk following nine deaths: Panel unanimously recommends more effective Pfizer or Moderna vaccines instead - pharma-giant says it 'remains confident'

* CDC panel on Thursday recommended Pfizer and Moderna over J&J shots
* J&J jab has rare but serious side effects and appears to be less effective
* Until now, all three shots have been treated equally by US authorities
* CDC Director Rochelle Walensky must decide whether to accept panel's advice

By KEITH GRIFFITH FOR DAILYMAIL.COM and ASSOCIATED PRESS

Most Americans should be given the Pfizer or Moderna mRNA vaccines instead of the Johnson & Johnson shot that can cause rare but serious blood clots, U.S. health advisers recommended Thursday.

The strange clotting problem has caused nine confirmed deaths after J&J vaccinations - while the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines don't come with that risk and also appear to be more effective, advisers to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said.

It's an unusual move and the CDC's director, Dr. Rochelle Walensky, must decide whether to accept the panel's advice.

Until now the U.S. has treated all three COVID-19 vaccines available to Americans as an equal choice, since large studies found they all offered strong protection and early supplies were limited.

A dose of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine is seen in a file photo. A government advisory panel advises getting Moderna or Pfizer instead

J&J´s vaccine initially was welcomed as a single-dose option that could be especially important for hard-to-reach groups like homeless people who might not get the needed second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna options.

But the CDC´s advisers said Thursday that it was time to recognize a lot has changed since vaccines began rolling out a year ago.

More than 200 million Americans are considered fully vaccinated, including about 16 million who got the J&J shot.

More than 200 million Americans are fully vaccinated, about 16 million of them with the J&J vaccine.

The other two vaccines used in the U.S. - from Pfizer and Moderna - account for the vast majority of vaccine doses administered in the country.

The CDC experts say that the two mRNA vaccines do not have the same risk, and unlike in the spring when vaccine supplies were tight, Pfizer and Moderna shots now are plentiful in the U.S.

The J&J shot also shows signs of being much less effective against the Omicron variant, and a booster is recommended just two months after the dose, opposed to six months for Pfizer and Moderna.

COVID-19 itself can cause potentially deadly blood clots. But the suspect culprit for the vaccine-related kind is a rogue immune response linked to both the J&J shot and a COVID-19 vaccine made by AstraZeneca.

Both of those vaccines are made similarly, using a cold virus known as an adenovirus, although AstraZeneca's shot is not used in the U.S.

The FDA this week warned that another dose of the J&J vaccine shouldn't be given to anyone who developed a clot following either a J&J or AstraZeneca shot.

At issue is a weird kind of blood clot that forms in unusual places, such as veins that drain blood from the brain, and in patients who also develop abnormally low levels of the platelets that form clots.

Symptoms of the unusual clots, dubbed 'thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome,' include severe headaches a week or two after the J&J vaccination - not right away - as well as abdominal pain and nausea.

Several other countries already have recommended age restrictions for both the AstraZeneca and J&J vaccines, or that preference be given to the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.

OP dishonestly changed many of the verses to fit his agenda. if you don't believe me just Google each verse and see. for instance *Proverbs 13:11* doesn't say anything about "get rich quick"

I guess lying is okay, so long you're doing it for Jesus. isn't that what most preachers do anyways?

Good afternoon bro. Don't be too quick to rush to judgement. OP did NOT DISHONESTLY change Proverbs 13: 11 which states "Wealth from get-rich-quick schemes quickly disappears; wealth from hard work grows over time." - He quoted from New Living Translation. He should have indicated the version of the Bible he is quoting from. When one studies the Bible it is advisable to crosscheck different versions to seek clearer understanding of the WORD.

Note it is not okay to use a lie or deliberately misrepresent the Bible to convince anybody of Jesus Christ, because Jesus Christ is THE TRUTH. Any pastor who does that falls into those described in 2 Corinthians 11: 13 which states "These people are false apostles. They are deceitful workers who disguise themselves as apostles of Christ."(NLT)

See the dangers of doing that in Revelation 22:18-19 (New Living Translation) - 18 And I solemnly declare to everyone who hears the words of prophecy written in this book: If anyone adds anything to what is written here, God will add to that person the plagues described in this book.

19 And if anyone removes any of the words from this book of prophecy, God will remove that person’s share in the tree of life and in the holy city that are described in this book.

Nairaland / General / Napoli Set To Offer Osimhen New Contract by iwatchandlisten(m): 3:19pm On Nov 16, 2021
Napoli have set plans in motion for the renewal of the contract of Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, the Naples-based club have been very impressed with the performance of the 22-year-old and are hoping to extend his contract which runs out in 2025.

Osimhen had joined Napoli from French Ligue 1 side, Lille, for an African record fee of €81m on July 31, 2020 after an impressive season.

While his first season in Italy came with injury worries and COVID-19, the Eagles striker has hit the ground running in the 2021/22 season, scoring nine goals in 13 appearances for Napoli.

“In the summer of 2020, Napoli paid Lille €60 for his services, the most expensive invention in the history of the club. But that market price is now about to double. His contract with Napoli (salary of 4.5 million per season) runs until 2025: work is underway to extend it,” Gazzetta Dello Sport wrote.

Business / Combating Rejection Of Nigerian Goods by iwatchandlisten(m): 12:08pm On Aug 10, 2021
Gilbert Ekugbe highlights the Standards Organisation of Nigeria’s standardization strategy to combat rejection of Nigerian goods in the United States and the European Union

Following the National Administration for Food Drug Administration and Control’s (NAFDAC) outcry over the rejection of Nigerian products by the United States and the European Union (EU), the need to prioritize development of standards cannot be overemphasized.

Over the years Nigerian products have continued to face rejection at the global markets on accounts of non conformity to global best practices hence, the urgent need to maximize the Nigerian National Standardisation Strategy (NNSS), will not be out place to address the high level of rejection currently being faced by Nigerian products at the international scene.

In other climes, issues relating to standards are taken seriously especially if it has to do with food as developed economies place premium importance on food safety in their quest to safeguard unsuspecting consumers of food. Therefore, stakeholders in the nation’s agricultural sector must embrace the NNSS to drive export of non-oil products since Nigeria’s plan to diversify its economy away from hydrocarbon resources is largely dependent on a virile non-oil export market of agricultural products
The NNSS is a document that identifies priorities for standardization in a country based on an assessment of national needs and usually accompanied by a national implementation plan that gives orientation for national standardisation work within three years.

The Director, Standards Development (SON), Chinyere Egwuonwu, at a capacity building workshop for Commerce and Industry Correspondents Association of Nigeria (CICAN) in Lagos, said the aim of the strategy is to support Nigeria’s industrialization strategies and unlatch prospects for improved socio economic development, maintaining that the Standards Council of Nigeria officially approved the NNSS.

She said standards development is demand/stakeholder driven which means the standards must be developed carefully, continue to meet stakeholders’ demands and expectations, noting that with the constant improvements in science, technology and innovation, demands for standards continuously increase.

She however stated that there is always the constraint of inadequate availability of resources both human and financial for carrying out standards development work, resulting in the need to focus on national priority areas in order to use the available resources to develop standards on most important topics.

“It helps to develop standards in a most effective way, using the available resources in the most efficient manner, driven mainly by the SON with strong stakeholders’ engagement and assessment of national standardisation priorities,” she said.

Egwuonwu said the NNSS is the first ever Nigerian standardisation strategy listing priority standards to be developed, adding that it is currently being driven by the SON with support from all the key stakeholders.

She added: “The implementation is healthy and is also aligned with relevant regional, continental and international standards development organisations to make it relevant as an enabler for Nigeria to enter the global market. It is strictly being implemented and we are working hard to ensure that we achieve the scheduled standards so that the needed standards are available for our stakeholders to participate in the ongoing African Continental free trade Area (AfCFTA).”

She noted that a total of 274 standards were planned to be developed in the first year (2020) of the NNSS implementation plan and a total of 264 was achieved making it 96 per cent achievement despite the impacts of the Covid 19 Pandemic.

Active Participation

She pointed out that the success of NNSS depends on active participation of the key stakeholders in public and private sectors, adequate funding for the national standardisation programme, uptake of the resultant standards by the business community and policy makers.

Recommending the need to upgrade strategy document, she said the NNSS and the associated work programme are living documents that is constantly updated and improved to ensure they remain in line with current conditions and continue to meet stakeholders’ demands and expectations.

She added that they remain flexible and be open to respond to new demands for standards, which may not have been anticipated and are therefore not part of the plan as it aims to support the implementation of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Economic Recovery & Growth Plan (ERGP) 2017- 2020, Nigeria Industrial Revolution Plan (NIRP).

“It has identified priorities for standardisation based on the strategic directions given by these national strategic priorities/plans ERGP, NIRP, delivered a core set of standards that will be important enabler for government’s actions, economic activities and social measures required for Nigeria’s development,” she said.

“The NNSS supports sector-specific initiatives defined in ERGP and related national strategic priorities/plans aiming to restore Nigeria’s economic growth, supports MSMEs development, to assist the most vulnerable members of society, open opportunities for Job creation, youth empowerment and improving human capital,” she added.

She stated that NNSS aims to support the strong and active participation of the private sector in the national, international and continental trade, particularly with the implementation of the AfCFTA, while also identifying priorities for standardisation based on the sector-specific needs of the private sector and national strategic directions, priorities and plans of Federal Government aiming to restore Nigeria’s economic growth

“It will deliver a core set of standards that will be important enabler for the private sector aligning and achieving these government policies, to manufacture /provide quality products and services as well as their active and beneficial participation in international trade, particularly in the African Common market through the AfCFTA,” she averred.

NNSS’s Economic Benefits

Highlighting the economic benefits of the NNSS, she said it ensures that the development of new national standards is based on a clear understanding of our national priorities in the fields of the economy, trade, the society, health, environment or other areas and also takes into account emerging sectors that are expected to gain in importance in the future.

She further stated that NNSS would develop standards in line with national needs (stakeholders needs and the present Government policies), provide continuous availability of required standards, supports industrialization of Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (MSMEs) and give basic support for industrialization, trade, economic growth and market development.

She added: “It will lead to increased use of standards by both public and private sectors as basis for regulation and as reference for legal agreements and as a country, increase market access, innovation, and sustainable economic transformation, achieve Nigeria’s economic empowerment and growth and improve the quality of life daily lives of all Nigerians.”

Reacting to the rejection of Nigerian goods at the EU and US market, the Technical Adviser to the Minister of Agriculture on Knowledge Management and Communication, Mr. Richard-Mark Mbaram, said the ministry after investigating the situation found out that the commodities that were rejected did not originate from Nigeria.

“They were smuggled out of the country. They did not originate through proper channels. On one hand, we know it is a deficit on our porous borders, but the reality is that these people undertook sharp practices and that is why we are where we are,” he said.

He however called on the need to strengthen inter-agency collaboration, saying that in February this year, the Minister constituted a standing inter-ministerial committee for zero reject project of Nigeria commodities.

He added that the committee is made up several ministries and agencies of government that has to do with processing of agro commodities for export.

“But there is a huge issue here because we still have to contend with the reality of deficit in infrastructure and this is why we are heavily investing into a special agro processing programme that will give us seven States plus FCT where we can carry out agricultural activities in places where we have comparative advantage for specific commodities in a way that will be inherent with global best practices and also connecting them to the ports and evacuation corridors and we are able to monitor and trace these commodities, “he stated.

Unregulated Exporters

On his part, an agro food processor marketer and exporter, Mr. Alfred Uwheraka, said the rejection was due to the unregulated non-oil exporter adding that everybody wants to be an exporter without taking into cognizance of standards, global requirements and good agricultural practices.

In his words, “Everybody just wants to be an exporter to make foreign exchange. These days people go to Ido or someplace to pack goods together to export their brothers or sisters overseas. For everything you do, you must look at the standards of other countries and their rules.”

“These nonchalant exporters that do not put standards into consideration are the ones destroying our image. I currently export to the United States and my products are not rejected,” he stated.

He however disagreed with the statement from NAFDAC, saying that is negative to the export business.

“There should be a platform to check whose goods are being rejected not just to speak broadly to damage our competence. I am still exporting to European countries as we speak. It is when you do not do things the right way that you have problem exporting.

For me anybody making a report of that nature should show it evidences. You do not give a negative report to give credence to your view. For me I believe the information was overblown used to undermine Nigeria’s export market and this is bad because the non-oil export is another major avenue of foreign exchange for a country that is import dependent. We should stop giving wrong signals,” he said.

The Chairman, Manufacturers Association of Nigeria Export Group, (MANEG), Chief Ede Dafinone, said he is yet to see the report, but stated that if the goods rejected met the EU requirements, it would have not suffered rejection, but stated if otherwise he would be glad to join in the protest to see that these goods thrive at the international market.

“For us at MANEG, most of our members are blue chip companies that have continuously to meet export requirements and our goods have never been rejected,” he said.

Business / Rivers Govt, Not FG Should Collect VAT, Related Taxes, Court Rules by iwatchandlisten(m): 11:55am On Aug 10, 2021
By Blessing Ibunge

In a landmark ruling, the Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, has declared that the Rivers State Government and not the Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS), an agency of the federal government, should collect Valued Added Tax (VAT) and Personal Income Tax (PIT) in the state.

Presided over by Justice Stephen Dalyop Pam, the court also issued an order of perpetual injunction restraining the FIRS and the Attorney General of the federation, both first and second defendants in the suit, from collecting, demanding, threatening and intimidating residents of Rivers State to pay to FIRS, personnel income tax and Value Added Tax.

Justice Pam made the assertion while delivering judgement in Suit No. FHC/PH/CS/149/2020, filed by the Attorney General for Rivers State (plaintiff), against the Federal Inland Revenue Service (first defendant) and the Attorney General of the Federation (second defendant).

The Court, which granted all the eleven reliefs sought by the Rivers State Government, stated that there was no constitutional basis for the FIRS to demand for and collect VAT, Withholding Tax, Education Tax and Technology levy in Rivers State or any other State of the Federation, being that the constitutional powers and competence of the federal government was limited to taxation of incomes, profits and capital gains, which did not include VAT or any other species of sales, or levy other than those specifically mentioned in items 58 and 59 of the Exclusive Legislative List of the Constitution.

The judge dismissed the preliminary objections filed by the defendants that the Court lackedjurisdiction to hear the suit and that the case should be transferred to Court of Appeal for interpretation.

Justice Pam, who also dismissed objection raised by the defendants that the National Assembly ought to have been made a party in the suit, declared that the issues of taxes raised by the state government were issues of law that the court was constitutionally empowered to entertain.

He declared that after a diligent review of the issues raised by both the plaintiff and the defendants, the plaintiff has proven beyond doubt that it was entitled to all the eleven reliefs it sought in the suit.

The court agreed with the Rivers State Government that it was the State and not FIRS that was constitutionally entitled to impose taxes enforceable or collectable in its territory of the nature of consumption or sales tax, VAT, education and other taxes or levies, other than the taxes and duties specifically reserved for the federal government by items 58 and 59 of Part 1 of the Second Schedule of the 1999 constitution as amended.

Also, the court declared that the defendants were not constitutionally entitled to charge or impose levies, charges or rates (under any guise or by whatever name called) on the residents of Rivers State and indeed any state of the federation.

Among the reliefs sought by the Rivers State Government, was a declaration that the constitutional power of the federal government to impose taxes and duties was only limited to the items listed in items 58 and 59 of Part 1 of the second schedule of the 1999 constitution as amended.

The Rivers State Government had also urged the court to declare that, by virtue of the provisions of items 7 and 8 of the Part II (Concurrent Legislative List) of the Second Schedule of the constitution, the power of the federal government to delegate the collection of taxes can only be exercised by the State government or other authority of the state and no other person.

The State government had further asked the court to declare that all statutory provisions made or purportedly made in the exercise of the legislative powers of the federal government, which contained provisions that were inconsistent with or in excess of the powers to impose tax and duties, as prescribed by items 58 and 59 of the Part I of the Second Schedule of the 1999 constitution, or inconsistent with the power to delegate the duty of collection of taxes, as contained in items 7 and 8 of Part II of the Second Schedule of the Constitution, were unconstitutional, null and void.

Lead counsel for the Rivers State Government, Donald Chika Denwigwe (SAN), who spoke to journalists after the court session, explained that the case was all about the interpretation of the constitution as regards the authority of the government at the state and federal levels to collect certain revenue particularly, VAT.

“So, during the determination of the matter, some issues of law were thrown up like, whether or not the case should be referred to the Court of Appeal for the determination of some issues.

“The court noted that the application is like asking the Federal High Court to transfer the entire case to the Court of Appeal. In which case, if the court so decides, there will be nothing left to refer back to the Federal High Court as required by the constitution.”

According to Denwigwe, the court refused that prayer and decided that the case was in its proper place before the Federal High Court and to determine it.

Donald Chika Denwigwe, SAN, lead counsel to Government of Rivers State and Ken C.O. Njemanze, SAN, briefing journalists after the Federal High Court in Port Harcourt on Monday declared FIRS collection of Value Added Tax in Rivers State unconstitutional.

On the implication of the judgement, Denwigwe said it was now, unlawful for such taxes as VAT in Rivers State to be collected by any agency of the federal government.

“In a summary, it is a determination that it is wrong for the federal government to be collecting taxes, which are constitutionally reserved for the state governments to collect. The implication of the judgement is that the government (federal and state) as an authority under the constitution, should be advised by the judgement, that it is the duty of all government authorities to comply with and obey the law so long as the court has interpreted it and said what that law is.

“So, in other words, the issue of Value Added Tax (VAT) in the territory of Rivers State and Personal Income Tax should be reserved for the government of Rivers State.”

Counsel to FIRS, O.C. Eyibo said he would study the judgment and advise his client.

Sue the bank, make noise about the case via social media, get the bank to write apology letter as part of the damages you are suing for.

On the matter of your relationship with the lady; you handled the matter poorly. Your attitude called her a thief and a liar, while you were forming self righteous indignation.

Why couldn't you meet with her to word out the matter, even showing her the account statement given you by your bank, while you ask her to bring her own account statement covering the period.

What the bank did is atrocious (why you should sue them, so that they will improve service delivery and not ruin more reputations, businesses and relationships), but your reaction to her based on what the bank was telling you was immature and mean. You didn't trust her in this "small" matter, what of when future throws more complex challenge, what if she were your wife? Going forward, learn from your mistake, don't put all your trust in technology, big corporates etc they have failed you now, they can fail you again.

Be humble, write her letter or do voice note of unreserved apology, telling her you should have trusted her. Then call her again to reiterate the apology while sincerely asking her to forgive you.

Whether she accepts or not, go visit her, and if she agrees to see you, apologise face to face.

Don't get offended if she plays hard, be humbly and consistent in being persistent over a period of time. No go de vex, you messed up, irrespective of your reason. Na so Adam been de blame Eve after he wilfully ate that fruit that year.

If she continues to rebuff you, go your way, with a clear conscience. Moreover no one wants to live "till death do us part" with someone with unforgiving spirit, because as long as life last offense to one another will still happen.

May God grant you wisdom for living. Ako na uche is the principal thing. Good luck.

Foreign Affairs / Re: Trump Instructs US Navy To Shoot Down Iranian Gunboats If They Harass US Ships by iwatchandlisten(m): 3:57pm On Apr 22, 2020
JBoy9:
Hard to believe that a POTUS would tweet such a childish immature BS. A president that fills his day with watching TV, making insane phone calls, inciting civil wars through his daily tweets and preparing his laundry list of new lies.

Mtcheerew. Wetin concern me sef?

Imagine another Virus comes out and it's only sex that can cure it! shocked some mum will be like, "Ola dakun ba n do omo yi daadaa, aburo e naa ni"

What Trump has done is to avert future conflict by preventing a situation where the US Navy will be forced to takeout Iranian gunboats at sea. Apparently, the Iranians have been harassing US Navy with gunboats and the Americans have been tolerating them, which could have made them (the Iranians) bolder in their "trouble-finding adventure". Now Trump's tweet tells them that "we are fed up with your nonsense, we have the capacity to destroy your gunboats, we will destroy your gunboats "if you harass us at sea again". Now since from experience, Iran knows Trump walks his talk, they are likely to cease and desist, and future conflict is averted. Now, if they continue to harass US Navy, the world know say na dem do themselves.
