MyGeneration: Unlike an average northerner who loves terrorism and blood, if not for Nigeria and all the criminal privileges u northerners gave urself we igbos wud be too busy achieving feats in Africa, but u bunch of quick sands has turned everybody down south out of impoverishing them to criminals. what feats exactly. the whole world knows the type of feats you are good at |

MyGeneration: Abuja belongs to who then, is abuja in the north or South? Abuja is a no mans land belonging to the federal government and the reason why abuja is the capital is because its the center of nigeria. if nigeria should split today most probably Kano or Kaduna will be the capital of northern nigeria not abuja. |

SirShymexx: There is absolutely nothing flawed in both school of thoughts cos survival in this context would be subjective. Since countries like Niger and Chad aren't extinct, I'm sure the North would and be on the same level as those countries. However, it would be one of the poorest countries in Africa and heavily dependent on foreign aids. It won't have the luxury it has now whereby it gets a lot of freebies for contributing almost nothing.
Also, the South in this context would have to be the oil producing states and if they can harness what they have without leeches, that region can become one of the richest in the world.
So saying the North isn't dependent on the South is laughable. You can also take out natural resources and look at human resources and you would see that Southern Nigeria is Nigeria. Most people don't even look at Northern Nigerians as Nigerians - that's the general perception in Nigerian diaspora. why will they look at northerners as nigerians it is only southerners that are nigerians. Northerners dont show themselves outside nigeria they are not caught stealing, scamming, drug dealing all the worse shit that comes out of nigeria suprise it is the civilized nigerians that do it.\ lets see whether you will deny your heritage and say igbos dont scam, steal and deal drugs foolish nincompoop |

codemaniacs: there were cotton trees in my school in lagos. its only groundnut they had in abundance in the past not today. cocoa house was built in 1972 in ibadan from proceeds gotten from cocoa.
what did the proceeds from groundnut build that u can point to till date. abuja was built with proceeds from the south crude oil. does abuja belong to the north alone they are equal number of southerners in abuja. its the capital for crying out loud the average northerner hates going to abuja because of their expensive lifestyle yet here you are spewing your mouth talking rubbish a local champion will always reveal himself no matter where he goes. Go out and experience the world let it set you free from your ignorant believes |

MrEverest: Lol, go & sit down my friend. As if you will not die of heart attack the moment Biafra is declared! Who wants to be like Niger or Chad! the average northerner doesn't care about your biafra you can go and have it. if nigeria should break up today the igbo tribe will be hit worse they are the ones that don't stay in their region, they are the ones that invest elsewhere and they always like to make it seem like they will cooperate with each other once birafra is realized. in reality they will not stay together south south wont tolerate their controlling nature after all its not igbo that have oil all they have is red sand and goats. |

People calling the north parasites while in reality the very foundation of this country was built by money generated from the north and the south West. Was it oil money that built the railways, the refineries, the highways of the past. If we are talking about stealing oil who are the ones stealing your oil is it not u bunkering your own oil ,busting pipelines causing oil spillage, kidnapping oil workers or is it still northerners doing that for you. The oil producing region is home to some of the laziest people on earth all they know how to do is drink ogogoro and cause trouble. |

Northern Nigeria has more mineral resources than southern Nigeria even the oil that the south are so proud of is found in the north they are oil deposits in the Lake Chad basin. When it comes to agriculture whether you like it or not the north feeds the country if food stops pouring from the north to the south it won't take long before food becomes very expensive in the south after all southerners tend to put prices higher for their goods than the north. Tin,columbite, iron, bauxite, gold, sapphire, limestone etc Gum Arabic, cashew, groundnut, cotton, moringa, ginger, chilli, tomatoes, banana, oranges, Apple, strawberry, grapes, mangoes, yam, sweet cassava wheat, maize, millet in fact most agricultural produce of Nigeria come from the north.followed by the south west |

IdrisAdebiye: It is better to buy zenith at N12.5 and earn N1.5k dividend than buy GTBank at N16.5 and earn same dividend bracket. This is the reason why Zenith price will appreciate (in terms of percentage) better than GTBank.
Another Stock to watch closely is Access Bank. Their share price should not be less than half the price of Zenith.
All the best. zenith bus I have already position myself since when it was 11.3 and I have access too but I didn't buy much |

Elai147: @ALL I wish to transfer my long term portfolio to a better stockbroking firm with great online platform, and good customer service. Can BnSITL recommend any one with an online service JUST like Morgan's iTrade or better. Note that I already have a trading account with Morgan, and would prefer to transfer to a different broker. Thanks if you would be patient enough since its long term i will suggest csls stockbrokers they are about to release their real time trading platform so by the time you want to start trading its up and running but for now they don't have anything like itrade |
