omenka: Buhari crushed Maitatsine (terrorism) and corruption, the two major evils reinvented and institutionalised by PDP plaguing the country today!! He can do it again hands down!!
The only people who don't wanna see Buhari there are those who actively participate in both, especially the current leadership of the country!

IF u refuse to ask God for wisdom in how u live ur life, u most likely will behave like the Prof. The prof accused sheriff ignominiously ( whether true or false ) not minding the fact that he had a past that kept some unlucky people in their early graves through what was termed 'pressure group' when he held sway.
The so-called pressure group grew outta control and became a monster up untill these days. I'm sure he shud be regretting his action considering the amount of crime and human destructions that followed his creation if he's morally upright as many had claimed. Now, no matter the lenght he goes trying to justify the introduction of pirate fraternity, he will neva be forgiving by a people of hindsight...
Same thing is applicable to sheriff and all who had supported bokoharam from the outset. Both MEN are guilty as charged in my opinion.

cashkid18: Nobody knows adegunle outside ogbomosho, u people should be bothered on how to contribute money on his burial cause the last time we checked, He and his family can not afford a decent square meal a day talk less of giving him a befitting burial. Even his northern masters is not ready to contribute a penny for him seeing how they left him to suffer in penury till d day he died.
Enough of the praise singing, cause none of your useless epistles is going to provide money for his burial or else you want your so called hero to buried without casket cry cry Even the great ojukwu whom you people hate so much was accorded so much respect that the fg has has declare a public holiday to observe his burial.
rest in pieces adegunle cry
^^^ Can u compare a broke ass adekunle with ojukwu on financial terms? Ojukwu was a finesse gentle man military officer in his days unlike adekunle who joined the army on account of joblessness. In PH, Ojukwu's death was honoured by the govt of Rivers State with important dignitaries such as, Ex governor Dr Peter odili, governor TA orji, governor Amaechi, Austin okocha former NBA president, Austin okpara former deputy speaker house of REP. just to mention a few were in attendance.

As for adekunle, who knows him?
Politics › Re: ........... by Iykopee(m): 9:35am On Sep 14, 2014
Evergreen123: adekunle ! hahaha
even adekunle himsrlf knew his power ended with shooting 10 yr old boys at asaba.
Before ojukwu left , biafran surrender was planned . ojukwu didnt want to stay and witness it. The surrender was presided by achuzia while effiong was sent to deliver it.
let me list ojukwus assets while u list adekunles own.
i like the fact he lived long enough , in lagos too which his enemies converted into a no mans land. The small boys that survived his shooting grew up into men that bought his fathets land . hehehe
What more can be depressing .
Ojukwu was active in politics , he couldnt even feed himsrlf three times daily.
what a failure.
^^^ Now this is mortal combat triology. Subzero decimating Scorpion flawlessly.
So, the little boys whom managed to escape his 'shoot @ anytin moving or standing' came to his father's land and purchase their landed properties? Kai, those surviving children are real WIZKIDS. I duff my hat for 'em.

oduastates: The black scorpion rescued Biafran children from the starvation which the Biafran elites like ojukwu and Achebe, were putting through when you bare in mind that ,the war was already lost within the first 12 months.
The black scorpion rescued the Niger delta from biafran terrorism.
From the killing civilians, subjugating and disgracing their leaders , taking their lands , changing the names of their geographical space into Igbo sounding ones , the black scorpion's effort was duly appreciated by the liberated. This greed all because of oil, power and wealth.
He retired from the military and lived a life of honour and dignity.that is unlike others who went ahead and destroyed what we fought for.
The nigerian state simply turned into what led the biafrans to want to seize the Niger delta in the first place .
An insatiable greedy ogre for oil and a covetous monster for other people's properties.
My hope is that his family would not allow the Nigerian army and all the corrupted institutions of governance anywhere near his funeral.
Colleagues at the war front ,yes
But definitely not the Nigerian army.
Substitute them with hunters and palace troops.
By the way ,no one cares whether the FG. Or any outsider honours him. Oyo will honour him.
And with time,we shall scrub off all those foreign sounding names of nobodies from all the monuments ,roads, bridges etc and replace them with the true heroes and individuals who have worked hard for the betterment of the odua nation.
^^^ The Nigerian history, peoples and culture is different from munching 2 plates of watery beans every day before commenting on NL. Gone are the days of perennial lies oozing from ur ilks.

Imo Gov. Rochas Okorocha has said that the state government will re-start work on some damaged Federal Government-owned roads in the state which the federal authorities failed to rehabilitate.

Okorocha made the statement at the official opening of Imo State Liaison Office, called Dee Sam Mbakwe House, in Abuja on Wednesday.

He said the Federal Government had stopped the state government from repairing the roads, namely Port Harcourt road and Airport Road, because they belonged to it.

“The Federal Government has refused to address some of the high issues relating to Imo State.

“The road is so bad and all I get is don’t construct, this is Federal Government property.

“I have given them the end of this year, if they do not do it, I will do those roads for my people,“ the governor said.

whatlyf: You are making sense. I don't believe in ethnic bashing but I respond to unscrupulous comments.
Jonathan is what I am most concerned with. This is a man that despite his Past Failures in Bayelsa House found himself in Aso Rock by the workings of God amid joy in the creeks. But till today the condition of living has not changed for the better but for worse for the Southern People(Specifically SS). Ogoni land is in diplorable state despite UNEP Report and Recommendation. Bayelsa State is in pitiable state. The east-West Road has been taking "Forever" to complete. Unemployment is rife. Sovereign National Conference has not been convoked(Not for the purpose of secession but to define our nationhood), True Federalism and resource control are not even talked about. All he does was to reward some of their political thugs in the Name of Amnesty, which in itself is a sham. He awards contract to his foot-soldiers and political benefactors with no direct or indirect effect on the common people. He rewards his corrupt aides and subsidy thieves. The NDDC that was formed to serve as an Interventionist is now another avenue to "Chop" OYEL money. Ministry of Niger Delta is a laughing stock. Today, An average Southerner cannot talk of "One thing" he has benefited from the government. If we extend to Obasanjo, he did no better than Jonathan. The So-called oil block contracts are renewable in 2016, What legislation is in place to see that equity is done by favoring oil communities than political crooks? (I am talking of ratio 60:40 in favor of producing communities-Ofcourse they can sell/lease to "Outsiders"] PIB is begging to be passed in the Natonal Assembly. So many scams going on up there.
^^^^ baseless rants! are u from SS? Who's from SS in sane mind will support northern control of resources in SS? If u are from SS arent u ashamed of urself that even ur governor can't boast of having 'half oil well' while northerners are fully in control? keep working urself out whenever they mentioned North or West. u can only deceive urself right here not REAL south south people. Mugu.

What bothers you about the economic implication of the project?
Can u prove beyond reasonable doubt how learning french in french speaking country is better than learning french in Nigeria so far the environment is provided?

As per the economic implication of his action, u and i know the statistics of unemployed people in Nigeria. He cud have impacted better in the lives of the people by providing such jobs here without admissible candidates spending more to access education benefits in Niger.

U shud look beyond the scope of a better place to study a discipline such as french if really u understand the implication of studying abroad. However, many people studied french in Nigerian schools and it doesnt make them less competitive when engaged...

I'm seriously bothered about the economic implication of the governors action. @ barcanister.
