2 bad the antagonist of the new 100 note is a muslim and a prof whose sense of religion bias, hatred and bigotry laid bare. Did 9ja xtians complain to the presidency for having used & still using a currency dotted with islamic signs on it for years past & present? Oh simply becos an arabic & inconsequential sign was removed, real issue of the naira wasn't discussed, rather, an obsolete prof with his hoarde of intellectually redundant muslim bigots started yelling ZION this, ZION that. I wonder if conventional education does impact positively on the minds of these muslims just as the prof held mindless demostration of religion intolerance, antagonizing the new 100 note and depicting how a typical muslim detest other religion of the world. |

Under Obj (as per period under review) there was an increase in price of petrol by 7.8% (N65 to N70) and the subsidy payments leaped by 23% (which is strange).
Under Yar'adua, pump price droped by 7.8% (N70 to N65), which gives a valid explanation for increase in subsidy payments. Regardless, subsidy increased by 123% only.
Under Jonathan, the pump price increase by a whooping 49.23% (N65 to N97), yet subsidy payments increased by a gargantuan 420%!!!
How on earth can one explain such economics ^^^ how on earth there was scarcity of petroleum products in those 2 tenures? |

Politics › Re: The Problem Of Southern Nigerians by Iykopee(m): 9:32am On Nov 11, 2014 |
DadaStephen1: The problem of Southerners and Christians in Nigeria are similar. They are their own problems themselves. The Southerners and Christians are full of self, envy, greed, pride, ignorance, sentiments and insincerity to themselves. This has made them divided against themselves and vulnerable to destruction. As regards registration for the national I.D card, northerners defile all odds to queue day in day out to be counted as Nigerians while Southerners and Christians are 'BUSY' looking for ends-meet (lol). Which one's more important? The typical hausa man queues at the NIMC office to be a registered Nigerian while the Yoruba or Igbo man feels it's not necessary. Their leaders encourage them to do it and help them do it for free, Southern and Christian leaders extort their own people so as to discourage them to do the needful. People are now asked to pay just to get print outs of the national i.d card when in some core northern states, they pay people who have successfully got their PRINT OUTS. I hear people say, they ask their people to pay for different reasons, but why must i pay to get a national i.d of my own country? But then again, even at that, we should do whatever it requires to have a stake and a say in our own land. Not just because of today but for the sake of the future. This is the reason why they say that Northern Nigeria is more in terms of population than Southern Nigeria (which is absolutely false), then we begin to cry fowl, forgetting that we fail to do what matters most when they matter. I want to encourage Southern and Christian Nigerians to start thinking more like patriotic people no matter the discouragement. We have given too much room for danger due to our lackadaisical attitude towards things that pertain to national or community issues and that's why we got to this pitiable point. I just wrote what's on my mind, even if you attack me for this (Business As Usual) it doesn't change anything. I have spoken and posterity will not forget. Let's start living a life of genuine communal-ism and love. Dada-Stephen Dst Consummate trash |

barcanista: Publised Jan 21, 1984 Let us analyse this carefullu.
$56, 000 was found in Ekweme's House, an Igbo man he was jailed
$4.5 million was found in Former Civilian Governor Sabo Zuwo House, a Fellow fulani from Kano, he was equally jailed for 300 years.
Please where is the discrepancy?? A court set up by IBB to try ekwueme over the issue exonerated him of any crime related to buhari's claim... Now it's obvious the clueless 'iron monkey with ostrich neck' named buhari lied to hookwink and innocent man. He must lose 2015 presidential contests |
Politics › Re: Why Did Buhari Jail VP Ekuweme But Place President Shagari Under House Arrest? by Iykopee(m): 9:10am On Nov 11, 2014 |
Sibabasibaba1: Very soon, Buhari's vuvuzelas will post a link to a 1984 New York Times article [http://www.nytimes.com/1984/01/21/world/around-the-world-nigeria-says-it-recovers-millions-from-ex-aides.html], claiming that stockpiles of money of more than $56,000 was found in Ekweme's House. But tell them that that was Buhari's government's allegation. Apart from Buhari/Idiagbon, no one else saw that money. They just had to trump up that charge to justify their human rights abuse just to earn legitimacy in the eyes of the world.
Till today, Buhari cannot substantiate why he cruelly jailed Ekwueme. He only came up with an unproven allegation which Uwaifo panel shot down few years later.
Ekwueme was not tried. He was never sentenced. Buhari just left him to rot in Kirirkiri without trial because he knew he had no evidence.
Now, look at what Ekwueme has to say about the allegations:
" Buhari cannot even get any evidence to support what he was saying because they were allies. Blatant lies. It was just a hang-up he had simply because he was in power, and had the gun. And he had to justify his own illegality (of toppling a legitimate government)".
And read this too: Ekwueme was never tried but was illegally detained for 20 months. Hear him:
"I waited for them for 20 months and they didn’t even come to ask me a question because I was the first person to be detained from December 31".
Read this Ekwueme's interview: http://sunnewsonline.com/new/?p=8561
Buhari is an epitome of criminality and wickedness. All perfumes of Arabia cannot mask the stench of dictatorship and cruelty that oozes out of him. Try as you can to fumigate his image, like the he-goat, his body produces his stench. That means buhari jailed an innocent man on trump up charges... Wow, this is heart rendering. |
