it is my deepest conviction that the full evidence of Scripture and an understanding of balance and consistency in interpretation mean that we must rethink some of our traditions and reaffirm with clarity and conviction the biblical basis for the full participation of women in the ministries of the church. The underlying biblical theology of a “new creation in Christ” in which there is “neither male and female” is a powerful affirmation of the commitment to equality in the gospel, the Church, and all of its ministries. |

alBHAGgDADI: Not because we want to please God but because it pleases God. Dressing skimpily to some people is seen as a way to please God. But does it please God? No.
So before we do something, let's ask God if it pleases him. Not just sit and say a prayer asking God about it. Read the Bible to see if the action goes in line with God's word. Okay |

The quality of a man’s life is reduced by iniquity. It is not possible to live at your best when you live with the stain of sin.
SCRIPTURE: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. Daniel 1:8-9
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The quality of a man’s life is reduced by iniquity

From scriptures, it can be confirmed that Daniel, who was taken to Babylon as captive, lived life at its best. He became the head politically, academically and spiritually. The same Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the King’s food (Daniel 1: . He ended in excellence and became a notable personality in Babylon.
We are going to look at the character of Daniel and what it takes to live life at its best.
Daniel was a man who elevated principles above pleasure. This is refusing to violate your principles or lower your standards for anything. Daniel was also a man who elevated conscience above convenience. That is the way to the top in life.

Now, from the life of Daniel, here is one of the ways to live life at its best.
You are at your best when you are beyond stain
This is living beyond the stain of sin. Daniel purposed not to defile himself and he lived at his best. The quality of gold or oil is reduced by impurity. The quality of a man’s life is reduced by iniquity. It is not possible to live at your best when you live with the stain of sin.
Among the animals, there are two major animals that are leading in the animal kingdom.
The one leading in the forest is called the lion and the one leading in the air is called the eagle. They both have one thing in common – they do not eat rotten flesh. It is also on record that the eagle has only one mate for life. So, to be a lion or an eagle personality, you must refuse corruption.

Christianity Etc › Re: Don't Be Deceived, God Cares About Our Outward Appearance by Izabel(f): 6:37am On Sep 29, 2019 |
The Bible is full of indications that God cares about our appearance. God created us "in his own image," ( Genesis 1:27 ), He designed each of us in the womb ( Jeremiah 1:5 ), and "we are his workmanship" ( Ephesians 2:10 ). He made each of us to look just as we do, and we reflect His own beauty. The Bible doesn't say how we reflect His beauty, but it is reasonable that our appearance has something to do with that. Since God cares about our appearance, we ought to as well. However, as God told Samuel when Samuel was looking for someone to anoint as king to follow Saul in 1 Samuel 16:7 , "… the LORD sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart." If we are to have the same attitudes as Jesus has, we should place our priority on how our heart is in relation to God. Outward appearance may be important, but the heart is more important. Samuel looked at each of David's brothers, and he was sure God would have chosen one of them. But God had chosen "a man after His own heart." ( 1 Samuel 13:14 ). David was good looking ( 1 Samuel 16:12 ), but God had chosen him because of his heart, not his appearance. People often look at 1 Timothy 2:8-10 ("I desire then … that women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly attire, but with what is proper for women who profess godliness—with good works." when addressing the issue of caring about physical appearance and apply it to say that women should not wear expensive jewelry or wear fine clothes. However, as Titus 2 says, the principle that our adornment should be in godliness rather than outward appearance applies to all people, regardless of their age, gender, or station in life. Both passages of Scripture are addressing the issue that proper godly attitudes are much more important. So, if we care about our physical appearance, the reason we care is much more important than the fact that we care. For example, if we keep fit and trim because we want to glorify God in our bodies ( 1 Corinthians 6:20 ), we have a good reason for doing so. But if we keep fit and trim because we want to impress others with how in shape we are, our reason is pride, which the Bible condemns in many places. One such scripture is 1 Peter 5:5 , which says, "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble." If we obsess about our physical appearance, we may be falling into idolatry, which is also condemned throughout the Bible ( Colossians 3:5 , for one passage). So we should care about physical appearance, but outward appearance should not be what we focus on. We should focus more on why we care about our physical appearance than how we look. The world places quite a bit of emphasis on physical appearance, but Christians should "not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of [our] mind[s], that by testing [we] may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect" ( Romans 12:2 ). We should not reject caring about our physical appearance just because the world cares, but we should be changed inside so we can tell what the will of God is. If His will for us is to minister to the "beautiful people," we probably should look the part so our physical appearance does not detract from our ministry. Our reason for paying attention to how we look should be to please God, not other people. Therefore, the answer to the question, "Should Christians care about physical appearance?" is "Yes", but with the very strong caveat that our reason for caring should be that we want to please God in our bodies. |

Don meon-- He never sleeps
When you've prayed every prayer that you know how to pray. Just remember the Lord will hear and the answer is on it's way. Our God is able. He is mighty. He is faithful. And He never sleeps He never slumbers He never tires of hearing our prayer When we are weak He becomes stronger So rest in His love and cast all of your cares on Him. Do you feel that the Lord has forgotten your need Just remember that God is always working in ways you cannot see Our God is able. He is mighty. He is faithful. |

Oceans Song by Hillsong UNITED
You call me out upon the waters The great unknown where feet may fail And there I find You in the mystery In oceans deep My faith will stand And I will call upon Your name And keep my eyes above the waves When oceans rise, my soul will rest in Your embrace For I am Yours and You are mine Your grace abounds in deepest waters Your sovereign hand Will be my guide Where feet may fail and fear surrounds me You've never failed and You won't start now So I will call upon Your name And keep my eyes above the waves When oceans rise, my soul will rest in Your embrace For I am Yours and You are mine Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders Let me walk upon the waters Wherever You would call me Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander And my faith will be made stronger In the presence of my Savior Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders Let me walk upon the waters Wherever You would call me Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander And my faith will be made stronger In the presence of my Savior Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders Let me walk upon the waters Wherever You would call me Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander And my faith will be made stronger In the presence of my Savior I will call upon Your name Keep my eyes above the waves My soul will rest in Your embrace I am Yours and You are mine |
