Thanks for this, I didn’t know one can even create an account on the HMRC system. I asked out of curiosity but I honestly don’t want to get too involved in the case because it’s mentally draining and I don’t have the mental strength for it atm. Thanks for the tip, I’ll use it for myself now, one can’t be too careful in anticipation of the future Bourne007: I will start by creating an account and logging onto the HMRC Tax account then match payslips given.
Make a complaint with hmrc if anything suspicious in your account.
FYI your friend stands a chance of it being overturned if she's gathered all the evidence. |

From what she said, she hinted on the fact that she was not collecting payslips as the money was being paid into someone else’s account (first red flag) secondly since they have her passport and all, I assume it may be possible? justwise: That is not possible, they used her Details to create an ID? Her payslip posted to two different addresses ? At one point she will be working in two different places at the same time? Her NI will be linked to two different bank accounts at least? |

Hi Gurus in the house, I’ve a question is it true that these shady agencies can sell your details to people without kpali so they can use ur to work? I’m genuinely curious because on my previous reply on the student thread, I had posted about two people I know that were refused PSW and marched back to Nigeria on grounds that their NI were checked, and discovered they broke the 20hrs rule. I reached out to the other one that actually applied for tier two, and she swore she never did more than 20hrs that she’s sure it was one of these agencies that must have given her details to people to work with. She’s planning to hire an immigration lawyer but I’m here asking to satisfy my curiosity becauseeee it’s scary if it’s true |

If you know that you’re doing more than 20hrs weekly, please I beg of you, stopeeeeeet!!!!! Especially with your NI, two of my friends just landed in Nigeria now, Post study work visa denied. Not just that, immigration literally came to front of their doors to serve the papers and marched them to the airport. Free flight, I’m shaking right now. If you have ears, listen. |

There is no harm in telling the person the truth, if the person refuses to understand, that’s on them. The problem is lying and the encouragement of housing them, that’s wrong. LYING is a NO NO LagosismyHome: A friend and her son were relocating from naija , her plan was to stay with her brother only for him to say he relocating to USA. She came and found her own accommodation
It then turns out the brother was never relocating anywhere and just lied....but then do you blame him
When I asked what was her plan, she had planned for her and her son to live with her brother for one year, but he lives in a one bed and has lived alone for yearssss. He didn't have the courage to say no so he lived, but can't blame him. One year plan in his one bed, that isn't fair to him too but most times people think only of themselves. What they can save not how inconvenient it is to the host |

Trust me, nobody wants to feel that way. I felt sooooo bad, because she kept insisting I come stay with her. If I had known, I would have just gone ahead and rent ooooo. The 450 I spent for 7 days quarantine (did test to release) is that not enough to get a single room ni. As for our relationship, I didn’t hold anything against her, and still kept talking to her, but I guess she felt guilty, because we’ve not seen, neither has she called me since I arrived Irenenwaka: Loll hahahaha , I really don’t know how i would feel if i ever found myself in such a position
just out of curiosity… did the relationship between you two stay the same way?? did u both still remain friends? |

Honestly this question is worth answering o! I remember two months ago when I wanted to travel, and I came here to ask about staying in dartford because a “friend” is accommodating me. Lmaoooo long story short, I was already at muritala airport when she told me her mom is doing birthday and I can’t come to the house again, I was officially stranded hehehe what a silly excuse. I spent over 450 pounds doing my quarantine last minute at an hotel, how distraught I was. Oh well, now I’m settled in apartment with a good work from home part time job. Lexusgs430: Why not get an uber/train/bus, and she drops the key at a safe place ........
Are you sure she wants you to (truly), stay with her........... |

Wahala for this sarcasm. Soooo funny. @OP better don’t put yourself in trouble o, before you’ll explain to them where the money you showed for maintenance during your visa application went to TheGuyFromHR: Of course they don't take it seriously, why would they? UKVI was playing around when it places a "20 hours during term time" warning on student visa stickers in their passports and on their BRPs. Feel free to work as long as you like. |

No, never combine bank statements, upload each separately because you’ll state it in your visa application for both banks. I used Euro and Naira from different banks. 2. Just walk in to your bank and correct the name so they both align. That’s what I did. Good luck Tolvin: Hi guys, please assist with answers to the following questions.
1. I intend to combine two bank statements (dollar and naira) for my visa application, can I attach and upload as a single document or as two separate documents?
2. My bank statements have two different name arrangements i.e. Adekunle, Oludare King (last name, first name and middle name) and the other has Oludare King Adekunle (first name, middle name and last name), can I do an affidavit to state that they are my names and upload during my visa application?
Thank you.
@justwise and others, please help |

Until they don’t allow you board at the Nigerian airport. Better do the pre departure test, make 50k no go make person miss flight of over 300k Patnuel2015: Open that link and read down. If you are fully vaccinated from a country not on tha list, you have a path to follow. |

Let her apply with her maiden name as shown on her passport for both admission and everything, but during her application she should mention you as her dependant (if she’s the main applicant) and submit those evidence, you will also attached those evidence during your application as well. That’s what my friend did, she and her husband just picked up their visas today. Good luck JedahT: Hello Everyone, please I need help!
I recently got married and my wife is yet to change her name on her passport. Although she has other change of name supporting documents like sworn affidavit and newspaper publication together with our marriage certificate. We tried to start the process of changing the name on her passport but it looks like something that might take a while before it's sorted .
We plan to apply for visa soon and I want to ask if its okay for us to go ahead and apply with her passport in her maiden name while attaching all the documents mentioned above.
Also, will she able to do a change of name from the UK when her passport expires next year?
Please I need anyone with good information to please respond.
Thank you . |

Just take your passport to your bank and have it changed, it won’t cost you anything except your time, better that, than getting non straightforward. I had to update my address on my bank statements o, to reflect the one I used on ukvi. GeraRoom: Please, what about POF in my account with maiden name?
My passport, offer letter are in my marital name but I haven't changed it on my BVN
Will it be a problem please? |
