kingoflag: Na wa o, If I didn't go thru ur previous posts I woulda sworn that you loved yorubas and that you were one urself... I'm not calling you a deceitful bigot o, I'm just saying this ur post sha e get as e be.

Anyway, some caught my attention (apart from the fact that most of ur points above are littered with obvious lies and blatant inaccuracies): you faulted Buhari for never speaking up against Abacha's regime--- Could you pls remind us of just one notable Igbo leader that spoke up against Abacha's Govt? Also, could you please tell us who were the founders of Association for Better Nigeria and their role in promoting Abacha's as life President. Finally, if you don't mind, pls remind us the role of Arthur Nzeribe and the Abacha Presidency.

Thanks in advance.

SportsRe: Player Rating: Nigeria Vs Ethiopia by izzo22: 11:39pm On Jan 29, 2013
Jarus: Parked and watched the match on the road, only immobile now. So, sorry this is coming late. Here we go:

Man of the match: Enyeama
Flop of the match: Ike Uche

Enyeama : Fantastic outing. No single error or slip. Saved what would have been an equalizer. Cool and calm. 8

Oboabona : A little average average, but committed an error could have been costly. Made a daring move forward as well 6

Omeruo : Good job; kept the Ethipians at bay for most times, but shaky a couple of times 5.5

Ambrose : Also had an average game. At least no error. A little better than prior game 5.5

Echiejile : missed excellent opportunity to put Nigeria up when he was a decent chance in first half, but kicked the ball into the moon. Not a TT in attacking runs, but decent at the back, at least today 5

Ogude : still needs to work on his tackles, looked like a red card in waiting again today. But decent outing altogether 5

Mikel : slowed down the ball too often; slow in making decision, but still made at least one killer pass that Uche could have done better with 6

Mba : Decent performance. Combined well with Mikel in midfield. Did that role better than Igiebor, who was one of the players we relied on, pre-tournament. Also made one daring shot attempt, but should have done better 6

Uche : It appears this guy makes more impact from the bench than starting(vs Liberia, vs B/Faso?). Not much impact throughout his stay on field. No powerful shot at goal or dribbles that we know him for. Quite lazy too, not hustling like an Emenike at 9 4

Emenike : Deployed to the wing while Uche played 9, at least before Uche was removed and he moved to 9, leaving 7 for Musa. Not in his elements, but it could be because he operated more from the wings 5

Moses : Just a decent performance from open play, not top-notch. Couldn't make much of one on one or one on two with defenders as he does in Chelsea and did in Wigan. Couldn't penetrate much. But more lively at the wings than Uche and Musa. Above all, his moves got us the penalties. What's more, he scored the penalties, which is the most critical 7

SUBS

Musa : a couple of flashes, but poor final ball again. Sometimes lost the ball. His bad show in AFCON 2013 continues 4

Yobo : Thrown into the pack to fortify the defence to avoid another Burkina Faso. Not much was seen of him, but he shielded ball well a couple of times 5

Ideye : Not seen. Hardly settled. Unrated.

Overall, still not the Eagles we desire. Far from it. It doesn't speak well that we had to win Ethiopia by two penalties. Not until 78th minutes for that matter. Same Ethhiopia BF pipped 3-0 with 10 men. It is sad news for our football. No sense of urgency, slow game, only a handful attempts at goal, back passes when they should push forward. Bad positioning by forwards, unimpressive passes by midfielders and defenders. Good possessive football, but possessive football without goal is nonsense.
Mikel outstanding he should hv 7 his decision making was spot on ...Moses man of d match...2 center back excellent
PoliticsRe: Kidnappers Of Okonjo-iweala's Mother Demand $1Billion Ransom by izzo22: 6:26pm On Dec 10, 2012
truth4meal: The Kidnappers that Abducted 82 Years Old Mother Of Finance Minister Prof. Kanene Okonjo at their family home in Ogwashi uku, Delta state, are demanding for a whopping $1 billion ransom.
Majesty, Professor Chukwuka Aninshi Okonjo Agbogidi, the reigning Obi of Ogwashi-Uku kingdom was kidnapped Sunday at about 1:30 pm from the husband’s palace at Ogbe-Ofu quarters in Ogwahi-Uku by eight gunmen who stormed the palace in two Audi cars.

The demand for a $1billion ransom according to source was relayed to the family of the woman this morning.

Its yet to be seen how the family will react to this development, but in a statement made available to elombah.com yesterday, the minister's spokesman Paul Nwabuikwu said; "at this point, it is difficult to say whether those behind this action are the same people who have made threats against the Coordinating Minister in the recent past or other elements with hostile motives. No possibility can be ruled out at this point."

Meanwhile Umu Anioma Foundation Worldwide has demanded the immediate release Of Dr. Okonjo Iweala's Mother. In a statement made available to elombah.com and signed by Prince Charles Anyasi, the National Coordinator / Spokesman, the group said:

"Once again, the image smear on Delta State has been brought to the fore with the unfortunate kidnapping of the aged mother of Nigeria's energetic Finance Minister, Dr. (Mrs.) Ngozi Okonjo Iweala from her home in Ogwashi-Uku a few hours ago. A few months ago, it was the turn of another prominent Anioma family to sweat in search of their mother who was abducted in her farm.

"Nothing can be hurting as the current worldview of Delta State encapsulated in BBC's report of the unwholesome development, stating inter alia: Nigeria is one of the worst countries in the world for kidnapping, where it is a lucrative criminal enterprise worth millions of dollars a year.

"The crime is particularly prevalent in the oil-rich Delta State, although high-profile victims are uncommon.

"The question is; how did we get here? Whether this latest heinous act was orchestrated as a payback for the Finance Minister's principled stand on the current Oil Subsidy imbroglio or as a message to scare innocent indigenes making preparations to be with their kit and kin in this festive season, the perpetrators had better get it clear that, as Daniel Defoe would say, Justice is always violent to the party offending. Yes, the offenders may not feel the violence now, but, before long, they certainly will.

"Umu Anioma Foundation Worldwide wishes to state categorically that a situation where citizens toiling diligently for the society's positive turnaround are being punished by satanic elements can no longer be condoned. We demand the immediate and unconditional release of this old woman.

"As thousands of people get into celebration mood, many travelling to their respective home lands, we call on the security agents to beef up action and assure the public of safety.

"The time to act is now!"

More soon

PoliticsRe: What Is Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala's Real Offence? by izzo22: 11:29pm On Jul 30, 2012
Builder: This woman's ideology is rather core neo-liberalism practiced in most western countries which is rob the poor to fatten the rich and Ngozi Iweala-Okonjo is just the ticket as she a bona fide student of the neoliberal socioeconomic concept.

This crazed woman is responsible for unleashing bankrupt neo-liberal--privatise everything even if it means massive economic suffering on Nigeria. Amongst criminal act and imcompentency was to lift the government subsidies on petroleum for Nigeria's poverty stricken population. During her tenure as Nigeria's Finance Minister, Nigeria has made zero economic development progress. The masses continue to suffer while the petroleum-fed Nigerian budget caters to the needs of its greedy and corrupt public officials. A big chunk of the budget--courtesy Iweala--just goes to overfeeding and pampering Nigeria's idle comprador bourgeoisie”. Revelations by wiki leaks showed how the US government mobilized support for the Jonathan administration and sent their illustrious daughter (Okonjo Iweala) to directly oversee their collective interests.

The Economist is English-language weekly news and international affairs publication owned by Rothschild banking family of England, once endorsed Ngozi Iweala Okonjo as its candidate for the world bank saying “: an economist with experience in finance and administration. It points to Okonjo-Iweala’s two stints as Nigeria’s finance minister, her leadership of the renegotiation of Nigeria’s Paris Club debt, and her time in a senior leadership position at the World Bank. She is very much a World Bank insider.”

But the magazine failed to point out the underlying principle behind the renegotiation of Nigeria’s debt is a ploy to satisfy her imperialist master for example this 12billion Naira renegotiation would have gone a long way to solving many infrastructural problems for example; healthcare, education and power shortages and massive upgrade to the country’s social amenities lest we forget, $35billion had already been paid in interest. You know you are bleeped when a western intelligent think-tank endorses you as a nominee, especially now that the western economy and fiancés are in a calamitous state ....

In June, this same woman warned Nigerians To Prepare For Economic Recession . When 95% of Nigerians have been in recession for the past 20 years
u took ur tym and put down dis rubbish..

All you have to do is make compelling arguments for your subject.

If they are not being biased at all, they will see that Lagos may have commissioned more projects than the FG in the last one year.
Mention one nah?
PoliticsRe: What Are The Projects Commissioned By Gej? by izzo22: 12:09pm On Jul 22, 2012
edicolove: While I think scoring GEJ now will be too early, I can jumpstart that with the following:

In roads, Zaria-Funtua-Gusau roads, Oshodi-Apapa with expansion and drainage works, dedicated bridge frm liverpool roundabout to Tin can ports, trailer park, Dualisation of Ibadan -Ilorin, ENUGU-Onitsha, completion of OWERRI -Onitsha, 9th mile, ongoing reconstruction of Benin-Ore-Sagamu highway measuring over 265 km, Kano-Maidugri Dualisation. Keffi -Akwanga-Lafia, award of Afikpo-Okigwe, Auchi-Okene being handled by Setraco. Loko-Eweta-Karishi bridge, Kolo-Nembe -Brass to mention but a few.

In Transport, massive reforms at the ports. Sanitisation and reduction of operating agencies to 7. Introduction of 24 hrs ports operation. Ongoing Construction of light gauge train railways across t4 cardinal point of the federation

In Aviation, massive reconstruction of major airports in the land, Enugu airport is undergoing total rehabilitation. The domestic wing of Abuja airport is also being reconstructed with expansion of roads and car parks. Same fr the international wing and the kano airports

In Education, establishment of 9 new federal universities in less than 1 year. Constructed 2 new campuses of the Nigerian law schools in Yenagoa and Yola respectively. Launched the Almajiri schools for education of itenerant Islamic pupils in the north wFhich Buhari and other northern leaders abandoned. Increased funding to almost 400 billion to education thereby setting an all time highest record. Reinvigorated the inspectorate oversight of schools leading to the revocation of some licenses from universities. Executed the landmark upgrade of university lecturers retirement age from 65 to 70.

In agriculture, for the first time in our history, we have a clearly defined agricultural policy which is targeted towards maximum utilisation of cassava for growth thru the launch of the cassava bread campaign. The policy is intended to reduce our reliance on imported wheat so as to encourage local production of cassava and it's conversion to flour for bakery. The FG has in less than one year eliminated the middlemen cartel that fed fat on fertiliser distribution at the expense of local farmers. Now through deregulation reforms, fertiliser is now accessible in the open market. he has also embarked on massive construction of silos and has increased import duties on the importation of rice in order to encourage local farmers. The efforts of the minister has been so appreciable that the world bank assisted with over 50 billion Naira for fertiliser redistribution scheme/ silos. The CBN has also set up a 500 billion loan scheme which is to assist farmers. Farmers database is being compiled nationwide and improved seedlings are being distributed to them.

The power roadmap is on as you know and PHCN has been unbundled. The PIB has been sent to the NASS and is expected to be passed into law as soon as it scales the NASS.

Like I said, we hope he succeeds for the benefit of Nigeria but I will prefer to start accessing him at least, after 2 to 3 years.
God will bless you
