Not all Generals are 5 star The LGA chairman that will slap Korofo has not been born. You don't know what you're saying |

Ibime: There is no such thing as a retired General when it comes to influence
Una dey underrate the power politicians have over military in present day Nigeria
Even an LGA Chairman can slap a General and nothing will happen In UK? |

raumdeuter: Some people are letting their hate for Wike cloud their judgment. Military guys even their bosses are still under the president
If the matter is a priority to Wike and he can push the buttons through Tinubu to the one of the newly appointed Service chiefs, that officer would be addressed instantly
The Service chiefs wey dem just appoint, No be someone recommend them. Or you think Service chiefs too do not need favors from civilian top govt officers Which officer? Someone they sent on an errand? Because Wike's headache is the land. |

BlueRayDiick: The officer said he's following the order of a 3 star general.
I'm sure even if Wike still goes this the same site tomorrow, he would meet the same office with the same resistance so far he hasn't gotten contrary order.
It's like these people think because Wike is a mininster, he can order him around. Something wey be say the guy fit detain Wike normally sef. Na because of Wike sef the matter no escalate. If it was just FCTA officials, na fight dem for fight there |

Bluelines69: Ibas is a politician now, don’t see how it correlates with this , nothing would happen to the boy he handled it very professionally, it’s not him standing there it’s whoever sent him so if wike wants to pursue he should pursue the three star general but the officer following orders, similar thing happened around lifecamp with a general Wike carry bulldozer go there sef, military pursue them nothing happen I have witnessed it when we did a project in Ogun, some years back. The Owner, who was still in the Military, stationed 2 Hilux of Soldiers. Both the state government officials, police, Omo nile, blah blah blah just stayed away. People here dey make me laugh. Even Wike knows he has to go back and start another dialogue |

Melvyn11: Doesn't change much. Says a lot about Wike connection when he has someone like him as a boy. Not bad for a bloody civilian. A retired person cannot have the perks of one who's active. I never said Wike was a bloody civilian. I don't think I typed that anywhere I'm saying that unless diplomacy is applied, he is powerless on that issue, and he knows that very well |

akwesenana: Fortunately it wasn't some hot headed person incharge. Ideally, the soldiers should not even be stopping the Minister from carrying out his duty... If you say the land was purchased legally, provide the necessary proof. But when everybody uses his power to promote lawlessness, one day, it bites you on the nyash Today was that humiliating day for Starboy Nyesom |

akwesenana: Omo. Why did Wike push the DSS guy in the first instance? Wike didn't want any more drama. I think he was telling his DSS guy to give the Naval guy space But the policeman felt it was an insult to Wike, so he pushed the soldier |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 4:41pm On Nov 11, 2025 |
BlueRayDick: If you observed well, Wike himself was already talking about soft landing in the video. He said something like....."even if there is a problem, the Vice Admiral should have phone me or write letter ....but he should not be intimidating the government with gun"
It means they would most likely develop that land eventually, Wike just wants them to give him recognition and then they come to a gentlemanly agreement.
I agree with you that whether they come to a truce or not, that Naval admiral will develop the land. If you see matter wey go get head, you go know. I saw when he was trying to reason with the Commissioned guy. Unless there's a truce, whatever they want to build there has already been completed. Factos! |

Ibime: Wike that can get a Navy Vice Admiral installed as Rivers State Governor and be doing his boy boy work can't deal with a Navy Officer?
In Nigeria?
The only hope that guy has is that Wike sees it as not worth pursuing him You are funny, sir Did that guy put himself there? Infact, they already anticipated the coming of the Minister, and were already stationed there. I am sure Wike knows who owns the land. He knows |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 4:32pm On Nov 11, 2025 |
BlueRayDick: Omo!
The Officer is very Professional. His non commissioned officers were ready to kill Wike, Lere Olayinka , the FCTA staff, police officers and DSS officers join
If no be his shout of Ajuwaya and personally pushing them back, things could've gone south.
That fooolish man on native that was talking from the back just wanted to escalate everything thinking Wike is a god and that their bodies are made of steel. I think that's why they made him the Team lead That one with bullet proof for don slap Minister of FCT. It shows how lawless Nigeria is. Nobody knows where his power starts, and where it ends. |

Melvyn11: Some of you actually believe wike doesn't have friends and allies in the military. No time for back and forth sha. Keep on calling the minster of Abuja a bloody Civilian. You're misunderstanding the whole issue. Those guys obviously were sent by a high ranking officer....I mean High ranking. Wike's issue is the land, which is not their business. Their own is to stand on the orders given to them All Wike needs to do is find out who sent them, and it will still be amongst his contact list of High ranking officers |

Some of una suppose dey discuss your takes with people around you before dropping it on a Public Forum Only 4 people dey chance Minister and his crowd. Like i said, unless there's a truce, those guys will build on that land, and even Wike would not have the guts to near there. It's like people underestimate the lawlessness of the military |

TemporaryHansel: It's like Nigerian soldiers think they're still in military regime. In the end this guy that think he's just doing his work and following orders will be used as sacrificial lamb. There's no way that guy won't be dealt with. Wike won't allow this embarrassment go. Dealt with where? You underestimate the power a High ranking officer still in active service, has. Unless he is retired or whatever, they will build whatever they want to build there, and no excavator go fit go there. Even if they send you on the instructions of the government, you won't go |

The guy chop Wike face for live camera without any remorse
Wike thinks everything is achievable through the use of force; today he meets a real force man who is deviant and wouldn't get intimidated by his crocked voice, see as him morale just fall .
Even the DSS guys that followed him sef were silently praying make the show end quickly so they can escort "oga" away before the military boys start shooting up everywhere. One of the ripple effects of lawlessness. It goes round. I am sure his boss must have warned him to rather die, than give anybody entrance into the land. Wike must be surprised to see someone look him to his face with no fear. I'll advise Wike to just let it go. Whatever they intend to build there will be built, and no excavator fit pull am down |

Ibime: They are not trying recently with news but they are a lot more than news. They have million radio channels, local TV stations, and as far as education, learning materials for kids writing exams, Sports, history etc, they do a lot. Those guys have even revived 2 extinct languages - Welsh and Gaelic using BBC to where millions are speaking those languages now when hardly anyone could speak them before. I even passed all my GCSEs just by recording and watching their GCSE videos without opening any book. The only book I opened was Maths, Physics and Chemistry. BBC videos did the rest including Biology and all the MASSCOM courses. |

Not the legal way, but a way nonetheless?
