Always having fault on the road. Nothing can make me enter these kind of buses. GloriousGbola: please drop tips
as a been around naija playa, you can also drop tips on mentoring in different area codes Lol I have terminated any mentoring scheme I initially ran. It's time to finally start a family. My goal is usually to get to my destination on time, so I have to choose the transport company I use and the time I leave, wisely If I am traveling to a far place....Say SE or Abuja, I must ensure the bus leaves early....Max 8am. And only reputable companies can do that. They may be 10k or 15k more expensive, but it's worth it. You can get to Abuja by 7 to 8pm, while the cheaper ones that left Lagos late, will get there the next morning. The same for night travels too ..If I am going to Abuja, the bus should leave by 5pm latest..So I can get there by 8am. |

BlueRayDick: Sometimes I get amused when I see people defending government's actions both here and on the internet generally. I see them defend land grabbing by government without paying fair compensation as the law prescribes and some of them will even be quiting laws they don't even understand its practical application.
When u tell people that government can take over a property with all documentations complete, they will Sneer at you and make it seem like u are making a false assumption just to call the government a bad name.
Government takes over a land in a place like Ojuelegba In Lagos, instead of paying a fair compensation they are offering 23 million that will not even buy the same quantity of land in a place like Ipaja, Ayobo, Abule Ẹ̀gbá or Egbeda.
Government will rather spend millions upon millions in court as legal fees than pay the fair compensation for the land which the same government approved all title documents.
Sometimes I think the punishment God gave to Nigerians is wicked Nigerians embedded in government and civil service. Imagine the Lawyers handling the case on behalf of the family had to be appealing to the governor of the state to intervene at an event organized to celebrate the patriarch of the family which the Lagos state government was an active participant......😭 Anyone who knows where AKTC is at Ojuelegba, will know the place. That's close to the bridge...The heart of Ojuelegba itself. After verifying documents and seeing that truly, they own it. They are offering 23 million naira as compensation. And like you said, they are willing to spend 100 million on lawyers, rather than be considerate. It's a lesson for those who would never see anything as absurd. Talk about the government, and thy are willing to defend at all costs. When e go reach your turn, you go understand! |

this is why i could not tell Naz how his building would be costed for land use charge
the figure is largely subjective - and made worse by lagos real estate bubble.
we also experienced same when LASG took over some of our sites. that is when you ill be told you are being paid the value of the land not the assets on it or something like that
also this
i doubt total cost of floodlight pass 400k each and pole max 200k I think they just want to use this person as a scape goat That amount is outrageous, but then, people also need to learn how to drive carefully, and protect public property |

azpekuliar: Even when there is no road construction Nigerias will find a way to cause a big traffic pile up. Nigerians lack lane discipline. Spent more than hour just between Okukpon and Ofosu on the Benin - Ore expressway. I was traveling from Warri with my dad as we were approaching the bypass I wanted use the by-pass but my dad said no we should pass through Benin city. I am glad I listened. I'm not ruling out indiscipline, but the conditions will actually set people up for that. They know the traffic on these roads will be triple the usual. Why not find a way to make it easier? Open one or two lanes to ease it. Create alternative routes and direct traffic there. But closing a lane, and then leaving everybody to their fate would only compound issues |

Akinlot: Is there any other route If the traffic isn't long, just take the first exit at Benin Byepass, to join Benin/Auchi Expressway You'll take the exit at Ehor till you get to a place called Ugoneki...That's like the last two or three towns before you enter Delta state. Just activate your map on Auchi Expressway to Ugoneki. It's straight forward. There's still another heavy traffic at Asaba too. Before you reach Onitsha, all your strength would have been drained |

Fking abroadians. Steal our women and steak our peace of mind join I traveled on Tuesday We spent more than 1 hour from Ladipo to Oshodi (after Lastma Office). One of the major problems are the ongoing road constructions. That's what's causing hours of traffic at Sagamu and Benin You expect over 1000 or more vehicles to pass one lane. When one vehicle breaks down there (of which the probability is high), the whole place becomes something else. People spent more than 7 hours at Benin Byepass two days ago. |

You will be seeing text message in June 2015 about how he has not been able to pay 2013 full rent because his wife gave birth suddenly and when they pay the next salary he will pay part of last years rent
Meanwhile he noticed his sink is leaking and landlord should come and spend money to repair when he no gree pay his own rent from last year
I think they know retirees no get energy for wahala and they deliberately frustrate them
One guy dey owe my dad's friend 3yrs rent and they dragged to court for long, the guy finally moved out to his own newly completed house meaning while he was owing and living rent free he was building his own house She eventually sold it sometime last year. BlueRayDick: Traffic and time spent on the road will rubbish that idea. Unlike the UK where u can take a train ride from one end of the country to another for few pounds, if u want to trave from Ogun to Ekiti state u will spend a lot of time on the road and will end up spending serious money too. I believe these matches start around afternoon. Maybe 4pm or so. I want to believe that if I begin my journey by 7am, I can be in Osun on time to watch the match. I'm talking of leaving Lagos, talk less of someone in Ogun. My point is, if you want to experience these things, you can. While it is true that people earn way less to actually enjoy these games, that example is way overboard for someone who earns within that range |

And the salary Is 70k per month .

BlueRayDick: You have obviously set Ur TikTok app to "Allwo app to track online activities " when u set it up.
I don't know about Android, but on iOS if u install an app like TikTok or any other app, when u are stying it up if will will prompt you if u want to allow the app to track Ur online activities. If u allow, the app's algorithm can pick up Ur online activities and start suggesting similar interests to u the next time u open the app.
For apss like FB, IG and WhatsApp that have the same owners it's even worse. If u search something on IG, FB no go let u rest with suggestions about that same subject matter for the next few days Do these apps have access to your phone's microphone? I was once on a call with someone, and the person mentioned a particular candy, and we laughed it off The next thing I see is the ad of that same candy on Facebook immediately I ended the call. This is my humble advice.... Abeg let such people go when you're in such situations
I have noticed lately that there are a large number of people you see everyday, walking about with mental issues. They are one word or step away from displaying madness.
You know the worst part? They have nothing that they are living for...If you kill them, nobody go cry. If dem kill you, nobody go still come bail them.
If that guy had a gun, he would shoot the Lexus owner without blinking.
Especially this Lagos, I no even dey follow anybody talk sef. Make all of us manage our madness internally |
