Career › Re: About Relocating To Nigeria From The United States by jabojafa(m): 7:58pm On Jun 16, 2015 |
abbey621: My advice to you is to wait, your degree alone won't get you a great offer, it all boils down to experience and your network. If you can get a job in your field here in the U.S, the experience alone will make you very attractive to potential employers in Nigeria. Already you have the edge, your American degree is 10 times as valuable as the same degree from any Nigerian institution, this is the way most employers assess foreign degrees. If you are truly serious about relocating to Nigeria, the best route is to secure a job offer from a U.S based company with project work in Nigeria, this way you would be paid in hard currency and your position very secure. Overall, relocating to Nigeria without enough savings will not only cripple you physically but emotionally, do your research before embarking on this journey! in addition you may need at least 3yrs working experience if u wana work in d industry as an engineer except u wan try military or paramilitary work as officer. |

Moana: I have always seen guys on NL saying that a woman should be blamed if her husband falls into the arms of another woman because she is not focusing on him enough and i will use this opportunity to give the same advice, the husband should be blamed for letting his wife fall into the hands of another man. Since he doesnt want to be romantic with his wife, let her find happiness elsewhere. so if u were in her shoes u wud find happiness elsewhr upon 3children? |

FOLYKAZE: I mean where is NLC and TUC?
Nigeria have enough labourers and workers doing everything to survive in the rain and sun but make less than 200 naira a day. These people strive to live in an economy where the rich are always favoured and the looters are praised. Hardwork doesnt pay again in this country. It is either you become kidnapper, armed robber, pastor, Imam, politician or militia threatening the peace of the nation.
For goodness sake, what clothing is it that this thieves want to wear that cost that much? I mean 100 million naira of clothes? What for?
NLC and TUC are silent when we need them most. This madness got to stop. Like Fela said in his song, authoritative stealing is the money making tool of the government. This nonsesne got to stop. sorry NLC and TUC wont ever come to our aid becos the top shots of those labour agencies have been silenced with a piece of d national cake. |

acidtalk: Fellow compatriots the time has come again to decide our future and the future of our generation even yet unborn.
In about a week from now, we will be taking a decision to determine how things will play out in our lives in the next four years and beyond.
Have you decided on who you want to trust in handling the Security, Economy, Youth Development, Healthcare, Education, and General improvement of the affairs of Nigeria and its citizens? If you haven’t now is the time to realize something.
1) We trusted the last 6years into the hands of a man who people felt his “luck” might bring Luck to the land because of the way he has always risen to power but unfortunately, one man’s favour from God isn’t enough to bring about solution to the land.
2) A man who travels abroad for the slightest flu while ignoring the healthcare system of the entire nation
3) A man whose 6years in power could boast of ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
4) A man whose campaign was based on personal attacks on his opponent about events that too place OVER 30YEARS AGAIN. Whereas can not boast of achieving anything in the last 6years.
5) A man who claims he doesn’t give a DAMN about not declaring his assets and also claims STEALING IS NOT CORRUPTION
6) A man who gallivants with corrupt past and present individuals while ignoring honest and upright individuals in the land.
7) A man who can defend supposed militants in the October 1st Abuja bomb attack only to come several years later to LIE that the same militants he defended years back attempted to kill him just because the militants are not in support of his government.
8 ) A man whose wife controls almost all critical national issues. Fellow Nigerians ask yourself this question and be honest about it; “can Michael Obama debate of political, security, and governance issue in America? But yet we see nothing wrong in Patience Jonathan peddling into national issues.
9) A man whose ONLY achievement in 6years is boasting of some outdated railway construction that 98% of the Nigerian population do not make use of.
10) A man who under his watch Nigeria can’t boast of a National Carrier yet he has 5 presidential jet to his name and has helped all his associated acquire theirs.
11) A country that sells forms to unemployed Nigerians only to DUPE the same JOBLESS youths as neither the government or the agencies have any job for the youths.
12) A country whose Universities were close for over 6 months and polytechnics for over a year.
13) A country whose medical health workers go on strike all year round leading to millions of people’s sudden death.
14) A country whose citizens die in their thousands on a weekly basis without the president saying or doing absolutely nothing yet the same president sends messages to a country who lost JUST 5 citizens.
15) A president who has emptied the countries foreign reserve and yet cooks up report to hide his elicit acts
The list is endless my fellow Nigerians. This is the time to end all religious and ethnic sentiments and vote in an upright man. A man who has NO TRACE of any corruption activities and whose associates have all performed averagely well as governors in their various states.
LETS BE WISE. OUR FUTURE IS AT STAKE. WE CAN’T AFFORD TO WASTE THE NEXT FOUR YEARS AGAIN.
VOTE OUT JONATHAN EBELE AZIKIWE BECAUSE WE HAVE TESTED HIM AND HE PROVED HE ISN’T A MAN TO GIVE A SECOND CHANCE TO. if you like list 150 reasons why GEJ shndt be voted, remember who God has blessed no1 can curse. |

berem: Nawao! Upon all the money Oledepo has,he's still collecting bribe? Or is he not part of the compromising pastors? you should be wiser than this to know that not all you read on the internet or news papers are true. Plus it is even coming from a compromised governor. Do not use your own hands and bring curse upon youself and to your next generation. He is too blessed by God for him to want to compromise his relationship with God for a mere 6billion naira. When he caught the light of financial prosperity from d word of God and said to himself ''i can never be poor'' you were not even born at that time. You better mind your business and leave those who God has anointed to do his work. Do you know d number of students benefitting from Oyedepo's scholarship across the world? |

Maple: But he is definitely not too rich to collect tithes from the poor masses. incase you dont know whether you pay tithe or not am sure it doesnt add one bit or make any difference to him. God has highly blessed him all round. When he (Oyedepo) caught d light of financial prosperity am very sure u may not have been born. Jst know that tithing is a commandment frm God and it is for your own good if you can key into it. Mind you, if you dont pay ur tithe to God then surely must pay it to d devil. |
