I can't really say......but once you choose to use PayArena, it'll bring out the cards that's acceptable. You'll see it on the site.

Paying online is the best....if you have your card details and good network too.

The day I was making my payment, the network was not good and the payment platforms couldn't process my card payment.

So I opted for bank payment. It was very easy. Though, you have to be patient to wait for your payment to reflect on the application system.

If one has the funds it's best to do 10 years. I did the same in January. So at least one does not have to deal with this mess for another 10 years. Hopefully, by then things have improved, and the renewal process is not as demanding and stressful.

Just picked my Passport at Alausa. Was supposed to have gotten it since Feb 8, but they've been saying no booklet. It's DIY. Thanks to everyone that has been contributing to this thread.

Please I lost my expired passport. But I have a copy of the data page. Can I use the copy I have to renew it? Or do I have to go and swear affidavit and do police report before I renew it.

not everyone gets collection slip. Most times, if they give hand written note(mainly just the enrollment number will be on it) it means they av issues verifying your NIN at that moment (doesn't necessarily mean your NIN has issues, just that they are unable to verify at that moment).
#DIY I asked about when I did mine and the lady that did my capturing at Ikoyi explained.
If there is enough booklet at the centre, it will be ready in max 2weeks
Did mine Dec 27 2020. Passport was printed Jan 4 2021

If u follow the discussion clearly, you'll see that I mentioned that NIN is likely to be the problem. But the guy said he doesn't think he has any problem with his NIN cos they didn't mention anything of that sort to him.

Anyways, I wish us best of luck.

I got only a handwritten note on which my enrollment number is written but I don't have any issue whatsoever with my NIN, I did my NIN as far back as 2013/2014 if have not mistaken and in the course of the passport processing and vetting of my document,none of the NIS officers ever mentioned it to me that my NIN has issue

If you really follow the pages on this thread, you'll find out that a collection slip is given after one is done with capturing.

When they gave you the note, you could have asked them the reason why you're not getting a printed document (collection slip)?

By asking, you'll get to know why they gave you the piece of paper with your enrollment number on it.

If you use DIY method, how then will you know your date of collection since you don't have a collection slip?

So my advice to you is that you should go and find out why you weren't issued a collection slip. Before then, you can also try to check if your passport is ready.

A small white paper or a PRINTED white paper (confirmation slip)? Read the “small white paper”, your date of collection should be written on it.

Date of collection is not written on the small white paper given to you. You can only see that on a printed collection slip.

Sometimes, people get a handwritten note on which their enrollment number is written...and this is because their NIN hasn't dropped yet. Like I said, SOMETIMES...

I got my passport today. 32 pages DIY process at Alausa Ikeja.I captured on 8th March and was asked to come pick up 17th March, I didn't go until someone said they have started producing yesterday. so JaceyOpara and others that have done before 17th March can go for pickup or even later sef. DIY is the way jare, I didn't spend more than 26k

I was at Alausa passport office on Monday....I heard that the issue of booklets is a national problem....like all the states are affected.

And I think the FG is also having money problems with Malaysia... where the booklets are produced.
