Guys please, how can i get to Masha from Egbeda without having to waste time and money? i am going to be using public transportation and i also want to get to my destination on time. I'm hoping to leave Egbeda tomorrow by 10am and wants to get to Masha (Surulere) before 12noon.

I got to the passport office by 8am, as I got there, they were calling those who came for capturing to go in, I joined them and I went straight to the long room, and to the capturing room after which I was told I haven't done done anything, that I'll have to enroll... She asked me to go to servicom.
As I reach servicom I met C. Agba, he said my interview was supposed to be after new year that I should go back, I told him I applied for scholarship, and needed it as soon as possible and I told him i asked some officers on nairaland and they asked me to explain to any officer i meet, he asked if I came with evidence to prove I applied for scholarship, I told him I forgot it since I was in a hurry... I kept apologizing until he gave me some 4 papers to photocopy 2pcs each. I did the photocopy and he gave me one of it to fill, after I was done filling he helped me changed the file and gave me the brown file and asked me to go to the office in the middle for stamp... I went and I was stamped, he asked me to go to the long room and pass it to all attendants there... Omo
As I got there the first person I met was one tall and huge woman who after collecting my file yelled I should go and sit down, Lol. After few minutes she called me to collect and move to the next counter, at all counters I noticed they placed my file under and their staffs will occasionally drop random files to be signed first before the ones already there, I tried to be patient and courteous as possible as I no know anybody... after the last stamp on the long room I was asked to go and enroll in the capturing room... As I enter I met officer Nyako (God bless him) he handed my file to be enrolled (he made sure everyone was treated equal, he didn't condone putting people in front of people) and he asked me to join the queue from Inside.... When it was my turn I went and captured and was given a number. I was instructed to return the file to servicom, which I did but this time I didn't see Officer Agba to thank him, so the officer I met asked me to drop the file and come back in two weeks time....

I saw officer Adamu countless times, he's quite popular and works tirelessly sha.

If you do it by your self, your capturing day is always stated in your printout and when you are done with capturing and given the slip you are meant to come with for collection,you would also see the date for collected too on the printout.

Don't wait too much under canopy they might forget you there, go in meet that Chioma lady and make sure she sees your face else she will just be answering other people and forget you. The capturing doesn't take long 5-10min

Not true, my guarantor has done for many people. Even me myself have done for many people. Your boss simply does not see you as a person he can be a guarantor for, or he just doesn't want to do it.

For fresh passport
U need the below after u pay online.
1. 2 passport photograph
2. Black and white abi black and grey paper file( can be bought there for 50 to 100 naira)
3. Letter of identification from Local Government/State of origin or residence or National Identity Card
4. Completed passport application form
5. Completed Guarantors’ form duly signed by a Commissioner for Oaths attached with Photocopy of Data page of Guarantor’s Nigerian ePassport, National Identity Card and one passport sized photograph of the Guarantor;
U will print out the guarantor’s form online. It is linked to your application so google how to print it when u are done with payment or check my other responses for the link.
6. Marriage certificate, where applicable;
7. Birth Certificate or Age Declaration attached with one passport-sized photograph and duly endorsed by a Commissioner for Oaths
8. Acknowledgement slip
9. evidence of payment slip

Amount for non-enhanced passport is 17,800 naira .goodluck

I applied for passport this morning. Abuja. Was told my interview date is March 19, 2020.

DIY New/Fresh International passport

Stage 1: Register on their website and pay 25k +1k for service charge...total 26k

Stage 2: still on the website, print guarantors form, acknowledgement form and Payment Receipt.

Stage 3: Take the form to your guarantor to fill, your guarantor will attached passport photograph, photocopy of international passport data page, and photocopy of NIN or Drivers licence.

Stage 4: Take the guarantor's form to court for stamp(they will collect 500 naira or 1k)

Step 5: Go to your selected centre for capturing
I used Ikoyi, Lagos State, so I will be using Ikoyi as an example.

Doc to take to Ikoyi, passport office
1. Application form
2. Acknowledgement form
3. Payment Receipt
4. Filled and stamp guarantors form with international passport DATA page and NIN slip or Drivers licence
5. 2 passport photograph (your own)
6. Photocopy of NIN slip
7. Photocopy of Birth certificate
8. Photocopy of State of Origin

You can also go with original of 6,7 and 8

Step 6: When you enter Ikoyi passport office, by the right hand you will see a "Servicecom" sign, speak with any of the staff sitting inside the cubicle.
He/she will collect all your document vet it and return it with a another documents and ask you to photo it and fill(make sure you photocopy it before filling)

After filling retire it to the "ServiceCom" person . He or she will open a file for you and write places you have to go for signing and stamping.

After stamping in one place, ask the person "where is next" politely and follow through the process.
When you're done with capturing, before stepping out of the capturing hall, a man will collect your file and register it. After that, take your file back to the "ServiceCom" personnel and your DONE.

Passport is 17,800 for e passport and 26k for enhanced e passport. Enhanced is gotten at ikoyi. Other centres give the former.

Good morning my people. I became the fresh passport processing this morning. I chose Alausa. 5 years and 32 page passport.

But the amount I am asked to pay online is 25000. Is this amount for the enhanced passport or still the old one?

Total of 26k paid.
