If you check the DIY review list from jaceyopkara here, you receipts should be two copies, just photocopy or so, just photocopy all the acknowledgement and payment slip again and head straight to servicom if anyone calls you do like say you no hear and straight to servicom

I wouldn't know. The new booklet is being considered and will introduced soon - the logistics involved is the cause of the delay.
Once everything is put in place, the issuance will begin. So since you don't need it now, enroll but make sure your NIN is correct and well arranged before doing that.

Which one is new booklet again? Neither FG nor NIS announced anything as such.

I could remember saying here sometimes ago that there’s no booklet for 32pages passport but some people thought I didn’t know what I was saying. When I discovered the non-availability of the 32pages booklet I opted for 64pages 5years booklet for my wife. She did her capturing on the 17th of February, 2021 and her passport was made on the 22nd of February, 2021. She successfully picked up her passport this morning.

DIY is the way to go.

Like seriously, I regretted applying for 32 pages.....I wish I knew better.

they will take ur money. Stop looking for immigration officer. Do it yourself. Simply apply yourself and pay online.
Immigration officer cnt fast track anything for you. Most people that capture collect same time U will get ur passport with the do it yourself process.

Up till now I haven't gotten my passport.....

The only advise I'll give here is that if you want to go through DIY, make sure you apply like six months prior to the time you'll need the passport....to avoid stories that touch.

So less than 2 weeks after capturing i collected my passport today at Alausa Ikeja. Strictly DIY except the fact i had to pay 1k for the person that helped to fill and sign my guarantor form. Over and out

Make sure the name on your NIN matches the name on your passport information EXACTLY. otherwise, it will not drop. The badly written software NIMC is using matches letter for letter on the names, without room for any difference.

You can't be sure about your NIN status.
The fact that you've had your since since 2019 doesn't matter. After capturing, sometimes, your NIN doesn't automatically drop via immigration portal. Sometimes, it takes a little time to appear and if it doesn't drop, there's are no two ways about getting your passport.

Now let me ask, when you captured, did you get a printed slip from the immigration officer or you just got a handwritten note?

Others got a handwritten note because of their NIN ish....

So, u see it's not NIN that's causing the delay.

Today is Thursday and I'm at the passport office presently. I was told it's not yet ready. I wonder how long it'll take for my passport to be ready......as I'll be relocating to the island soon....dunno what to do....since I don't have any contact there. All my tweets to NIS on twitter are being ignored.

I'm presently at Alausa passport office, Ikeja for collection. 32 pages , 5 years.....and they said it's not ready. I asked the man when it's going to be ready and he said that I should call my contact.

I applied online and I don't have any contact inside.
