KingEbukasBlog: See how desperately you are trying to undermine the IQ simply because many theists and Christians have the highest IQs
IQ measures how logically you can think mostly , one's problem solving abilities and these people are on the high side . If it upsets you , you can go and hug transformer.
I'm pretty sure he has at least 3 times your IQ and someone as smart as Chris Langan does know what he is talking about .
I haven't seen his argument or work on it but I think it would be based on the applicability of mathematics in a physical world : Since numbers, mathematical objects are mind-dependent and mathematics is the language of nature then it would only point to the existence of an ultimate mind Please, stop attacking me. Ad hominems will not cover the fallacious arguments it forward by both the op and the 'smart' Christian. Mathematics cannot prove the existence of anything. Only a deluded fellow can believe that a non existent concept can prove existence. |

dalaman: Was Jesus a creationist or an evolutionist? The guy is smart enough to discard the mythology of the bible and embrace his own scientific mythology. He mixed the two up. He claimed without providing any evidence that
"You can prove the existence of God, the soul and an afterlife, using mathematics."
He should do that already and win a Nobel Peace prize na.
It's easy to make baseless claims na. Proving them is always the problem. Kingebukasblog has started with his fallacious arguments again. IQ is one measure amongst many measures of intelligence. There are people with high IQ that lack emotional intelligence. They can't relate with others. Furthermore, mathematics cannot prove the existence of anything in the physical world. Numbers themselves do not exist. For this 'smart' Christian to claim that mathematics can prove God, he must be on some good weed. |

juman: Islam is a way of life.
Islam teaches us how important humanity is.
For example Islam say killing an innocent person is like killing of the whole human beings on earth.
Hence God injunction is for the women to cover their hair, Then why did Allah give women hair in the first place? Your religion s not important in the grand scheme of things. 70% of people in the world are not Muslim. |

So what of her right to practice her faith of choice? A lot of religious people fail to realise that their religion is not important. Humanity before religion. |

Acidosis: Listen to yourself, "developed countries" are "leaving religion", meaning they attained "development" before ever thinking of leaving religion.
What made these countries "developed" in the first place in the midst of religion? Have you asked yourself?
Development has NO correlation with religion. You can develop with & without religion. If your country cannot develop in the midst of Christianity, forget it! It won't even if you convert 180 million Nigerians to atheism. Atheism is not the answer. It is the destination because the road to national development must pass through secularism, science and freethinking |

plaetton: Baloney. Historically, the more Religious, the more oppressive, the more power in the hands of a few.
Religion , or the feeling of religiosity, not surprisingly, emanates from the most primitive part of our brains, and ironically the same region where our primal animalistic impulses like fear, selfishness, prejudice reside. Not surprising that the most egregious abuses of human rights, corruption, racism and tribalism tend to go hand in hand with Religion zealousness.
On the surface, Religion , all Religions, portrays itself as mechanism for tempering the primitive and fiery impulses of the human psyche. But deeper down , Religion has shown to have a much greater tendency to inflame and exacerbate those primitive impulses for which it promotes itself as the antitode.
Take Nigeria for good example. How do you rationalize that the most Religious nation in the world is also a failed state, and the most Corrupt nation in the world ? The problem with some of these people is that they have been blinded by pastors. They are the lucky ones that either got jobs through their church or are being fed by their pastors and so, they will only see the good in their religion.....why bite the hand that feeds you? |

Statsocial: This man has sold more books than Wole Soyinka, Chinua Achebe, Chimamanda all put together despite piracy. If he were to take proceeds of tapes and books alone na billionaire. Yet some funny individuals will ask you how he is rich. I was amazed myself to find out in 2015 that he does not earn from Books proceed neither does he take Salary. It is the church that takes the proceeds.
Same with their Universities. In this case neither the Church nor Oyedepo takes profit(even though they can if they desire to). Everything is reinvested back into the system and the Church adds some more billions to the Universities annually. At times Oyedepo also gives to the Universities from his own pocket. Stop telling lies for your daddy GO. |
