My dear, this will lead to visa denial, no doubt. The DV instructions are simple and strict. U need documents to prove everything u are/have. They don't need u explaining ur way through.
What u saying is like someone going there to talk his way thru how he is qualified thru education without the certs to show for it.

Honeslty, its unfortunate - Going ahead with the ex when they weren't legally married is questionable as there's no marriage cert to present (unless them wan do am d naija way of getting things done at all cost).
I'm not sure is the right thing to do. Sad how he can't present a divorce cert cos there was no marriage in d first place and the present girl in his life is aware of every and probably won't want for him start something the nigerian way to getting whatever we want to get.
While I admit its a tight one, I will add by saying its a very slim chance to a happy ending.

seal777: He registered DV 2013 as married ( even though they were just dating back then without a formal marriage done ) but unforunately they are no longer in good terms again while he is committed to someone else but he just discovered he has been selected in the current dv lottery 2013.

His case number is current for October already, He need to submit his application forms to KCC as soon as possible but He cant get back with his Ex Girlfriend as this would affect his current relationship with his fiancee ( She is aware of the scenario as we speak ) .

PLEASE ADVICE, WHATS THE WAY OUT?.

Honestly, this is gonna lead to what we don't need on this forum if he must pursue his american dream.

Na wao. One thing is certain - u don't need authenticate nothing you are taking along with you to the embassy for your interview - NPC inclusive. Go to their site and check d civil documents needed for your interview.

Collapse the 'Required DV Qualifying Education or Work Experience' aspect and Pls take your time to read carefully and show us where it was stated u can't combine certificates of different exam bodies.

Is this a new one? The requirement didnt state u can't combine certificates of different exams bodies to get u the required 5 credit passes u need as minimum requiremnt.

I think u can go with the waec cert and NECO statement of result. U can explain the NECO cert isn't out yet. But I advice u go with a scratch card to confirm your result online- just in case.

b) Earlier in d pages of this thread, a certain mr Lawan's number was put forward as an NPC employee who could help.. I called him and he charged 8 grand to get everything done- including court affidavit and attestation proper...

A) YES. I was born in delta and got my NP in Niger state.
B) u can walk up to the NP office where u live and get ur NP done. It doesn't take more than ur time. Do it urself. That way u can be sure of what u taking along for ur interview.
Court affidavit don't cost that much. U can do it all much less than the above amount.

It won't cost anything if u go with all of them (testimonials, certificates, and statement of results) and let them pick out the ones they need. Play safe.

Good to hear that at least one of the certificates don't have to be school based - that both can be external. That said, during my interview preps, I heard of about two ppl that were denied and it was all narrowed down to their ssce certificates both external- according to their own testimony o as I wasn't there during their interview. So I feel its safer one have at least a school based certificate.

Yes but make sure one is school based. They usually have issues if both are external.

As temmy rightly pointed out, u go ahead as married and pls get ready for a very tough interview as in most cases they view cases as yours as marriage of convenience.
Go get details/evidence of your relationship before, during and after marriage intact.

So long u filled in ur DSP/DS forms that they are joining u later and the interview notifications didn't require for them to appear for the interview, I guess u be ok.
I don't see anything wrong with combining those certificates. I believe so long as u can prove that u have the min education requirement, it doesn't matter d year combination.

Thats not true. It shouldnt take more than a day - worst case - 2 to 3 days.
I cant determine when your interview date will be as i have not checked the visa bulletin for a while now.

I don't see u having any problem with that.
But guy u suppose don do that correction since nau.
If u still have time on your side, u can go to neco office and effect the neccessary corrections on the certificate so u can relax your mind - believe u can get that done in a day.
That said, I don't think that will give u any problems during ur interview. Goodluck!
