My good frnd.Sorry dear.I hav fatigue&jointpain too.Just commenced artesunate as prescibed by dr.Sorry dear.I knw dat wen I had malaria d tym I was breastfeedin,d dr said d malaria drug was safe in breastfeedin but I don't knw abt d injections they'r givin u&d labelatol (is it an antihypertensiv drug) cos ur bp seems high.OMG.U c y I told u dat u need al d help u can get.Wit just one;I was goin dunzo.I remember stayin 5straight days without sleep.Visitors,baby,housework&so on&i shut dwn.I was seein stars.Dats wen dr placed me on valium cos I was depressed;stressed&goin mental.As 4ur question on bf whil on treatment;I knw dat wen my collegue had twins&her bp shot up,sh was admitted in d hospital&sh wasn't breastfeedin cos d dr said d bp drug slips in2 BM&might drop d baby's bp too so d babies were on SMA gold.Be expressin out d bm&discardin it 4now til u'r totally off medications or u can confirm wit ur paed&gynae though.

I just prepar 60mls of water to 2scoops of milk or 30mls of water (measurin wit a feedin bottl) to 1 scoop of milk then I pour it in2 a plate&add d cereal.That's wot I do.I don't knw 4other mothers

I don't knw if u'v heard of Milopa.Its also vry good.Its Foreign too.Wen my baby's system didn't tolerate cerelac&friso;d paed told me abt milopa,whch I got&sh loved it but its in a smal pack&expensiv (abt 1350) so u can try dat out too cos it also made her add weight.Then I discovered d cow&gate strawberry&banana&purity too whch were good 4her system&Heinz rice too made her chubby

My dear,d paadiatrician said there's no how milk whch is naturaly produced&stored in a livin body can soar. Frm my experience,ther was a tym my baby stopped breastfeedin for abt a wk+ but my hubby was adamant on bf til a year so I forced her 2resume whch sh did.D 1st 2days,sh wil suck&stool immediately (a little watery) so ppl told me I gav her soared milk.it went on for 2/3 days til it stopped afta givin her flagym.I'l advice dat mayb wen u com back frm ur trip;express d milk out then tak plenty of fluids &allow fresh milk 2form.My opinion though.If don't knw if anyone has a betta opinion

It depends on ur pocket.Aptamil is abt 4,500,Emfamil is abt 8k;Similac is abt 4k but if u hav ppl in UK;they can buy it 4u cos its cheaper there as I heard&giv it 2somone comin back 2Naija.It'l save u a lot of money.They're al vry good.&ur baby wil so lik it dat he/sh wil finish dat big tin in a wk if u'r stoppin bosm feedin or least 2wks.Walai,me I used NAN then wen sh got 2a year,I switched 2complan&peak 123.Goodluck

omogemi: she was 2.8 @birth. i do give her pap made with jero and oka baba +the milk and sometimes soya. i used to give frisogold rice but i needed to give mixed grain so i got nutriben. dont know if u heard of it before. it is from 6 months to 3 yrs. there's a 4grain and 8 grain. the 8 grain is with fruits but its the 4 grain cereal i give. its already added with milk.
as for beans yes i do give her cooked with carrots, fish, tomamtoes and onions. then i mash it when soft. she loves it. i just introduced amala and she took it well. she also takes semo too.
what kind of tea do i give her? ovaltine or milo? how do i give her coz she doesnt like anything apart from water in her sippy cup. not even milk. but she likes bread. i just feel i m not doing enough for her but i also iknow that her stature can be genetic. if she cant grow fat @ least she should be weighty.

7kg at 10mths is not 2bad anyways dependin on d birth weight.Frisogold milk is vry vry good too.Its bn produced by nestle peak.Its not just milk dat makes kids add weight.Its timely feedin.Soya beans is good 4d pap.I started usin soyabeans frm 5mths wit honey in her pap so pls keep usin it cos its highly proteinous.I hope u added guinea corn&millet 2d corn u used in makin pap.It's good 4babies too&jero makes them add weight.U hav 2start tymin her feedin.Add a lot of beverage,soyabean&milk 2her pap&giv her tea 2drink afta meal;probably afta an hour of feed instead of water.I noticed dat beverage makes dem add weight.Even if u'r at work,cal&mak sure ur baby is fed at d appropriate tym.These ppl lookin afta our kids wud b watchin african magic&STV 2 on startimes&forget 2feed d kid so d 3hrly thng worked 4me.I even wake up in d middle of d nyt,go 2d rm,pick up my baby,feed her&also giv her tea even at this age cos 12hrs is 2long 2starve a child.My baby detest egg too so I sort 4other sources of protein.Hav u tried givin her bread&butter.B addin fish 2her beans.U can mash it.Ur baby wil lov it.Hav u tried givin her potato,yam,rice&d rest?Ur baby wil definately add weight.Feed her 3hrly.Try cerelac (giv d mixed fruit) or frisocream cereal (d ricebase not d wheat) for her then we'l c how it goes

Pls giv d chicken pox at any cost.My husbnd's nephew cam frm holiday in my crib&we enrolled him 4summer lesson only 4him 2go there&contact chicken pox.Thanx 2vaccination,my baby didn't get it but my elder brother&his 10mth old son dat just stayed ova nyt at my place enroute back 2Ireland got d chicken pox.Wen they stayed at my place,d boy hadn't com dwn wit d pus-lik rashes.It was just d fever&we took him 2d hospital 2test 4malaria or infectn not knwin it was chicken pox.Wot if d boy got d chicken pox when I was stil lookin 4d vaccine 2giv my baby.Hmmm.
2ndly,I just checked d peak 123 container&there's no place where its indicated dat u shldn't use d milk afta a mth so my dear,use ur milk joor.My own stays long cos I giv my baby peak 123&complan&atyms skip buyin peak 123&buy NIDO (whch is good too).Goodluck

I will also advice u use COMPLAN milk instead of peak 123 I av used it and there was no good result cos it made my first child stool and lose weight instead of adding and I keep hearing negative reviews from mothers around me.At d age of one they lose weight unlike when they were infants cos they might have stop breastfeeding and they easily fall ill(like teething), they run around, they are getting taller and they might be playing with their meals so they need milk that will make them add weight not d other way round.Incase u wanna know d price its within d range of 2200-2500 and pls turn it into a container and close it properly.

Chicken pox vaccine can b scarce.it took me ova 3mths,afta my baby turned 1yr 2get chicken pox vaccine at a different hospital outside where I use&i paid abt 4,500 or so.I knw paid 11k for MMR&chicken pox.I can't remember d prices 4each.My dear,just close eye&giv those 2 at any price.My neighbour's 3yr old son got mumps&i asked her if sh didn't giv him MMR vaccine&sh said dat its not amongst d ones dat's free in Govt hospitals&u knw mumps highly contagious&causes sterility in boys so I heard d 2nd son dat's a year + is feverish so nobody knws if he has contacted it too

Well,on d pack of peak 123,I don't think there's anywhere written that u shld giv a baby milk dat's bn open 4 ova a mth.I knw its written on Aptamil,NAN&SMA.I giv baby both peak 123&Complan so her milk stays ova a mth&it hasn't done s**t 2her.Ya u can prepare milk&giv him but at a yr,he shld b takin tea instead of milk alone.D only thng u shld do is dat u shldn't b addin al d sachet of milk in d tin/container at once cos these ppl we live wit don't cover d tin of milk well atyms&air ends up enterin d milk.
