I can tell you this is why China will keep outpacing everyone, from teenage age they cave out a niche for their kids depending on what those kids see as fun, then train them specifically in that niche till they become specialist. Kids learn faster so a kids that start learning programing at very early stage will become a professional before he turns 22 . They won't waste their time learning 13 subjects that leads nowhere like you did so they may never understand English or even know where Nigeria is on the map of the world but one thing is certain, you can never come close when you dabble into their field.
