You haven't answered my question bro, Nigeria is a secular nation right? Everyone has the right to dress in his own way, moreover, the Muslim schools in kwara state (a Muslim state) don't force Christian students to wear hijab, why should the Christian schools be forcing Muslim students to pull off hijab? If you're to be logical you should know you're the ones being mischievous here.
As for your last point/question, because your mind has registered it that way, that's how you'll always see it, we saw wike demolishing a mosque last year claiming rivers is a Christian state you never opened your mouth to criticise him, but now, it's a Muslim that's involved it's violence, sense no go kee you my brother.

Everything you said became trash after you Kwara is a Muslim state nonsense. Look around dude, there are more churches in Ilorin than mosques lol. Maybe your town in Lafiagi is a Muslim town sha but as long as we are all under this Kwara, there’s no such thing as a Muslim state here. How many Muslims are in Moro, Oyun, Afon, Ifelodun, Ekiti Kwara? You know nothing.

Commonsense questions to ask is was the grant used to build the schools or to cover recurrent cost 47 years ago?
I never realizes partially covering recurrent cost of a property can transfer its ownership. This move should be resisted by all Christian schools around including those not affected by this yet because if they succeed with this demonic takeover, they will use the covido palliative to make inroad into all school that enjoyed the cash transfer to staff members.

Can my neighbor who charges phones in my house after fueling my gen for one night or week use that as excuse to become a stakeholder in my generator or my life?

Exactly. Grant aiding schools doesn’t imply ownership. Even some private universities in Nigeria enjoys government grants, does that make them FG schools? These guys are just silly.

I did my secondary school at Taoheed secondary school in Ilorin some years back and the Christians were allowed to have their FCS in the school, the Christian and Muslim prayers run concurrently on the Assembly ground.Am a christian and till now I can pray very well in Islam till now same with the Muslim students they can pray and recites the Lords prayer. so this your point of government schools not allowing christian student to have their FCS is false.

In Ansarudeen School in Ipe, Christians are not allowed to have FCS within the school but their counterpart had that privilege to do their own thing. I know someone qualified whom was not allowed to become a principal in Sheik Abdulkadri at Asa Dam because she was a Christian. The outgoing principal confided in her point blank. If you think Christians are not being subjugated and unfairly treated in Kwara, it’s either you are not from there or you are super ignorant.

I think the comparison you're making here doesn't hold any substance, why? Because we're not talking about worship here but dress code and I'm sure no Muslim school in kwara forces it's Christian students to wear hijab because it's a Muslim school so why should a Christian school, aided by the government of the state that is predominantly Muslim try to force it's Muslim students not to wear hijab? Let's be logical men!

Oh please the comparison is on point. You hinge hijab wearing on freedom to identify with their faith demands (which is a veneration of your god/prophet) supremely over the school’s which has always had berets as their dress code since inception but quick to downplay the Christian student from identifying with their own biblical demands. Your hypocrisy stinks.

Tell me why there are mosques within most government offices in Kwara but no single chapel in any? You clowns give what you can’t take an inch of.

Kwara is a Muslim state, but I do not support the decision to send hijab wearing children to mission schools, they would never fit in, but then, I am not a politician.

This whole thing is a big mess with easy solution. Let every government owned institutions, agencies, schools, parks, malls etc have equal representation. Just as there are mosques in virtually all offices in Ilorin, let there be chapels built for Christian fellowship too, just as there’s a College of Arabic & Islamic Studies in the state, let there be a state funded theological school for Christians. After all, we are all taxpayers. No student should be denied wearing of hijab, berets, rosaries etc in any public school in the state. Equal provision should be made for a mosque & church ground within all schools regardless of their location. If we are looking for equality, justice, secularism & true freedom, this is how to do it so that no one feels trampled upon.

The Fulanis are more concerned about Yorubaland Ilorin belongs to the Fulanis by conquest, and Fulanis integrated with many yoruba communities in South West Fulanis can easily leave south east cause they have nothing in common with Easterners, but they will stand and fight in South West cause they feel they belong there

A very foolish take. Go and check what right of conquest means. Something that was abolished since WWII. For it to even stand in the first place, there must have been a war between the two party. In Ilorin's case your forefathers only waited till Afonja was old and weary, then snucked in to lay a siege in his home & assassinated him. This wasn't a war. Also in right of conquest, the subdued people must not even have the littlest chance of reclaiming ownership through a standing force. Now when the Brits crushed Ilorin in 1897, your forefathers just got an a$$whooping from the Yoruba in Osogbo and drowned away in Odo Otin by the Offa forces. Infact, your Emir's son your head of slave called Jimba were captured alongside others and were sent back to Ilorin. The two most powerful chiefs in the city after this were Balogun Alanamu & Balogun Ajikobi. Your emir was reduced to a mere puppet, no wonder why he quickly came to pledge allegiance to the Brits so that they would help restore his control.

You should be thankful to the Brits, they were the reason the offensive reclamation war by the Ibadan forces stopped. So take your stupid conquest nonsense across the Niger Bridge.

Am sure you know that kwara people did not dump themselves in North Central, same as okun people in Kogi, Kwara state use to be sw until the military change that, we all know that if Nigeria should divide today, Ilorin will never be part of the north, they surrounded by yoruba Town and villages like share, jebba, oke oyi etc, moreover ilorin is a yoruba city, their best food is Amala, they speak Yoruba language, aside from ibadan, I think ilorin is the next city that produce aso oke, sanyan in large quantities.
What u see about ilorin today is all politics

I understand and feel you but the oppressors have been working overtime to eliminate all features of the aboriginals here. There is no single street or landmark named after Afonja/Laderin (founders o). They even changed Kwara United Afonja Warriors nick to Harmony Warriors but it refused to stick. When the late Adisa opened Afonja Community Bank, the Emir went against him for that but he stood his ground, now they introduced an alien culture of doing Durban every year even against the Yoruba’s wish. If everyone doesn’t open their eyes and stand their ground in the few decades, you would not even find a single Aso Oké seller left.

What do you want them to do, take up arms and start fighting for a rulership that is just propaganda, the emirate office that does not stop anyone from living a free life, they should revive a war that was fought and won before the advent of civilization, and start shedding the blood of their children, it's not as if they are being asked to leave the town, and their is obviously mutual respect between the two tribes because you will never hear them fighting each other, it's civilization that makes you realise peace and lives are more important than fighting a senseless war, the developed country will willingly support and install a foreigner into office and you want citizens of the same nation to be killing each other because of title, thank God yorubas have gone beyond that

Then you must be living a life of anyhow and whatever happens, no proper planning with your future dictated by others. Everyone knows Nigeria is dying and when the chips are down, what you or they will have to ask yourself is where do I go. Already, the core north treats Kwara as a Yoruba state when electoral positions are being disbursed but suddenly manipulate them with “the north” when votes are needed. Cutting them away from good supplies is a loud message that no matter how long we have had these relationships, you are still not one of us.

Just two days ago, a boy had his hands chopped off by Fulani herdsmen in the state, people gets kidnapped frequently now, Oro Ago $ other towns have suffered heavily in the hands of these demon yet you tell me they shouldn’t be in control of their interests and faith? B$$$$ please.

If you prefer the continue slaving of your people to structures that doesn’t even recognize you as equals, I reject it for you. Being together for centuries means nothing. At the end of the day, there wasn’t even a war but a backstabbing cowardly act by the Foulahs to Afonja and believe me, the people of Idi-Apé still have this fresh in their memories. The Jebba people the Emir have refused to accept the court’s position stand in having their own graded Oba, same for Oloho of Shao, Alapado of Apado. This issue is simple. The government should either totally take over the schools
or stop giving grants to them.
That is how it is done in many countries.
The government will make rules and only give grants to schools that will follow them.
No need for fights or threats.

Personally, I see no problem with mixed school hijab but the Nigerian government seems to
hate good solutions.

The schools as far back as 2014 asked he government to stop funding them hat they can take care of themselves. They government did not heed. The Muslims not only want hijab, they even want to build mosques in these schools. That's crazy.

SOUTHWEST NIGERIAN YOUTHS LISTEN,
As intelligent as the Yorubas are (claim to be), we have been unable to string together the constitutional processes that will lead to the peaceful dissolution of this unholy marriage in Nigeria.
Well, I think it is now left to the youths to find the way to do this.
The older generation, if they could, would have. It's no point looking up to the elders again.
Yoruba say "àgbà ò ní wà l'ọ́jà kí orí ọmọ tuntun wọ́", but even orí àgbàlagbà gan tí wọ́ bayi. Àgbàlagbà sef need person wey go straight his head.
To distract intelligent citizens from the legitimate process needed to effect a constitutional restructuring
is the gimmicks that the divide and rule actors play.
Every now and then, they will mislead you guys to think that it is an ethnic war that you need to fight.
They make you believe that it has to be war with other ethnic groups. No. That's a lie from the ones who
want to distract you from how to go about the real issue.
Everything rises and falls on the laps of the members of the two national houses of legislatures. The agbádá wearing stinkingly rich, luxuriously decorated lawmakers who facilitate boreholes, solar street lights and distribute rice and salt to members of their constituency as constituency projects. They do all things but make laws that will move the country's youthful population forward in life.
They are the people through whose pens and offices you will effect the decision to change the constitution for the greater good. That is the meaning of the votes you gave them or the one they bought from you.
Your governors too will not speak of the need to dissolve this marriage because after his tenure as your governor, he has an eye in the senate where he can be for life, receiving senator's salary and
governor's pension - FOR LIFE.
(If these men don't deserve to be hanged, I don't know who deserves it. There are no bigger criminals in the country than Nigerian politicians).
* Southwest has 18 Senators (3 from each of the 6 states)
* It also has 54 house of Representative members (9 from each of the 6 states).
These are the people to make "war" with.
Southwest youths, tell these men (through letters) in the Houses to move immediately with the process to dissolve this marriage called Nigeria or tell them to forget their houses back home.
Bombard them with letters.
Visit them in Abuja with placards.
Do videos, Tag them on all social media handles.
Harrass them wherever you see them both offline and online.
If they don't effect the change in the houses, let them from Abuja be traveling abroad.
Let them know that they have no place in the community anymore.
If the kings try to curb you from taking that stand, tell the king to either join his voice with you or open the Calabash and go join the ancestors if he doesn't want true freedom for you.
Ojú bọ̀rọ̀ kò gba ọmọ lọ́wọ́ èkùrọ́, we had better come to understand this and follow it stubbornly or say
goodbye to freedom.
Nigerian youths cannot achieve their full potential with the current Nigerian structure.
Don't be deceived.
1. Organize yourselves through social media (whatsapp or telegram) as a group of concerned
youths.
2. Appoint representatives from all the senatorial discritcs and federal constituencies within southwest, southeast and southsouth (we share a common struggle with these people and the alliance is needed for the numbers needed in the houses to effect the needed change).
3. Move for a restructuring that will ensure that every state in Nigeria functions as an independent federating unit that has authority over its Security apparatus (Police - not one controlled from Abuja); and
a state that has authority over its natural resources and free to pursue exploration of the same for the economic benefit of the population within the state.
4. Vehemently reject the status quo which makes the southern part of the country the home of the natural resources upon which the northern part of the country feeds its large population of legislators without commensurate contribution to the national treasury.
In a federal system, each state will finance the center from a percentage of its produce.
In our present system, states from the rich south have to get money from the federal center which is full of Northerners. So it means that the North is the one sharing the resources of the south to all.
5. Stay on this course no matter how long and how strenuous it will take to achieve it. The Òrìṣàs are with you and will continue to weaken your enemies even as you stand on this path of TRUTH for the development of all, rather than the system designed to benefit a few.
You have become rocks and your enemies have become eggs, as you crash into them they break into pieces, if they crash into you, they break into pieces.
Dear youths, join hands together now to fight for your future.

Moreover, these schools are government schools (though bearing Christian names). All Muslim students, in particular, female students should be allowed to dress in Hijab since these schools are for the public.
