Why the so called elected leaders are just discussing in weeks which correspond to the time Sunday Igboho went after the killer herdemen? There can never be lasting solution to the menace of raping, kidnapping, farm destruction etc perpetrated by the fulanis and some of their accomplices if the Fulanis are not eliminated from the forests in southern part of Nigeria. Why are we so conscious of dissolving unprofitable country everytime? Nigeria entity must break into its components for people to live meaningfully. Don't mind that idiot. Rootprof: As a concern citizen of Nigeria and resident of kwara state I'm calling on the state government should please do something urgent about the way street beggers keep increasing in numbers without care. When you visit some areas like oja pata, gambari, geri- alimi junction, tanke tipper garage and so on,it's an eyesore.
Their female keeps giving birth without care and control.Their children as started roaming the streets begging and causing mance in some cases. My concern is not now alone but the next few years to come ,this uncared-for children may start stealing, raping and breaking into shops and houses cause they don't go to school nor learn any skills just roaming the street for money,as they grow up they're desires and wants will increase and may start looking for other means to meet their desires.
This is Tipper Garage, Tanke in Ilorin that has become such an eyesore with street beggars. They are evacuating street beggars elsewhere and dumping them in Ilorin same as Herdsmen. Soon, I hope we shall be able to sleep with our two eyes closed. Please share until relevant agencies of government do something. Long live Nigeria Long live kwara state. I thought I was the only person that noticed. See it's embarrassing. These people breed like rabbits with no intention of sending their children to even free schools. |

When the project was originally conceived we had cash from the oil boom of 1973 to 1982.
In 1982 oil prices crashed
When Bubu took over he cancelled the project. Money was tight.
Infact money was tight from 1982 to 91 when we had a brief oil boom and again from 1991 to 2003 when oil price remained low till it went up again
The current project started around 2007 when oil prices were on an upward trend. And this time it is being executed by Lagos state , not the federal government Bros please don't try to spin things unnecessarily. "The initial Metroline project was scrapped in 1985 by Muhammadu Buhari at a loss of over $78 million to the Lagos tax payers. ... LAMATA initially concentrated on developing a Bus Rapid Transit system, running from Mile 12 to Lagos Island." Imagine having to pay contractors off more than 30% of estimated project cost just because you said Nigeria was cash strapped. Mind you, the Naira was more valuable than the USD at this time. Additionally, if you say Nigeria was broke, then how is it sensible now that we are borrowing from left to right to funds projects like Rail line to Niger with no economic benefits? Crime › Ondo Amotekun Arrests 2 Cemetery Guards Over Alleged Possession Of Human Heads by JaffyJoe(op): 11:48am On Jan 18, 2021 |
ONDO, Nigeria – Two cemetery guards were on Sunday arrested by men of the Ondo State Security Network Agency, otherwise known as Amotekun Corps for alleged possession of human heads. The two cemetery guards were said to be workers at a cemetery belonging to an old generation church in Surulere Area of Ondo town, headquarters of Ondo West Local Government Area of the state. Residents of the area alleged that the suspects had been tampering with corpses buried in the cemetery where they guard. One of the residents who craved anonymity disclosed that one of the security guards simply identified as Alhaji was apprehended with a bag containing the heads of dead bodies by those living in the area. The source said, “Today (Sunday) somebody went to defecate in a bush beside the cemetery and he saw Alhaji with a sledgehammer and he broke one of the tombs in the cemetery. After some minutes he came out with a bag. “So the person that saw him raised the alarm and we rushed to the scene. When we checked the bag Alhaji carried, we saw a human head in the bag. “When we went around the cemetery, we discovered that about 44 tombs have no dead bodies inside them, they have been exhumed by ritualists. So we have handed them over to the Amotekun corps.” Confirming the development, the Commander of Amotekun in the State, Chief Adetunji Adeleye, stated that the two suspects were rescued when the residents were about to lynch them. The Amotekun Commander, however, said human heads were not found on the suspects upon arrest. He said, “The suspects were rescued by our men when the residents were about to kill them. We have handed them over to the police.” When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, ASP Tee- Leo Ikoro said the suspects had not been handed over to the police. https://ogeneafrican.com/2021/01/18/amotekun-arrests-2-cemetery-guards-over-alleged-possession-of-human-heads-in-ondo/amp/?__twitter_impression=true |

Oga, those 600 Militia group trained in Isreal that have been unleashing mayhem in Plateau that Lalong report uncovered in early days of his first term but was quickly suppressed what are they called? Because, you have a press that is Islamophobic and sympathetic to your religion, you think we don't know those issues. If you are stupid, we are not.
Oga, the story of arm purchase from Black Market with CAN president private jet despite all the Presidential and military jets we have then. That story is meant for gullible idiots like you just like the one that Osama was behind 9/11; an average student of Political science with vague understanding of Military-Industrial complex know it is not true. Keep believing what you wish to believe.
In addition, Muslims don't go for Pilgrimage with Tax payers money, they pay to travel. As for state sponsored pilgrims, go ask your church pastor, both the Christian Pilgrim Board and The Hajj Commission enjoy this from Government. You talked of Organization of Islamic Countries, Mumu, even your Jonathan was attending the meeting and borrowing money from there, All the Sukuk funded projects in your state are the benefit of Nigerian Membership of the Org.
Olodo, I hope from this, you have realized you are one of the stupid ones here Oponu I don't have the luxury for meaningless back and forth. I addressed your silly lies talking about Christian Militia, GEJ frocking with Telaviv whereas your political leaders go for Hajj every year without anyone making a big deal of it. Mind you, prior to 2015 elections, Jonathan politicized religion by junketing from Tel Aviv to Isreal, funding activities of Christian Militia in Taraba and Pleateu using Oritsejafor's private jet, moving from church to church seeking endorsement and CAN (which Kukah is part of) finally capped it by declaring him their sole candidate. This was how the Muslims decided too let's make it a religious affair and JNI declared support for GMB. Hope you now see something wrong with Kukah associating Buhari's inadequacies with Islam You are a fat liar! Your Taqiya can't work here. Bring your evidence that Jonathan funded a Christian Militia. First of all, there is no such thing as a Christian Militia in Nigeria. Don't bring us down to your level. Secondly, how is GEJ going to Israel for pilgrimage just like all your Muslim leaders do in several times a year to Saudi Arabia a problem? Have you guys not be using tax layer's money to find our membership in Organization of Islamic Country? In a supposed secular state. Arms were to be bought off the black market because of the US led embargo on Nigeria owing to claims of abuse & anti-homosexuality laws and private contractors used to compliment anti-terrorism war. bukatyne: I was more concerned with addressing the part of old school or modern Christianity.
At women talking in churches: context of that passage/ what they were trying to address is key.
God punished Adam for listening to His wife Eve; same God told Abraham to listen to Sarah when it was time to send Haggai and Ishmael away.
A man can mischievously use the first point to teach men to NEVER listen to their wives;
A woman can mischievously use the 2nd point to teach men to ALWAYS listen to their wives.
Most people do not read the Bible for themselves so it is easy to quote half truth, lies and their emotions packed as fact. These allusions you made are quite funny to me. There are no contradictions here. If for anything, It should tell you that God is a very rational Being. The first was an act of reproach due to disobedience inspired by Eve to an established law and God's instructions. The key thing was that there was a "law" in place. The second was Sarah using her free will to make a suggestion as human. She couldn't fathom bearing kids at 90. She broke no law by this act neither did Abram. All in all, both cases had different spiritual and earthly purpose to fulfill. Human think they are so smart now that they try to rationalize the way of God with the ways of Man. You can call Christianity anything you like but instructions are always clear without any element of ambiguity. "22 Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. 24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything." If you seek to reform the above quoted because it's not sufficiently mainstream for what you feel the type of Christianity you want is, then sis, you may want to explore other faiths. Grayoso: What exactly do you want Tinubu to say given his position and what he has eye on for the future of Yorubas?
We all have to play our role in life and must not render ourselves worthless for our purpose because of our own rash actions.
Tinubu condemned the killing and enjoined the police to act and fish out the killer or killers but refused to ascribe blame which is the right approach from a national political leader who wants the Yorubas to take over the centre in 2023.
What people like you myopically fail to understand is that there are sectional, opinion, cultural, traditional, religious and political leaders.
They can never react similarly to a situation because their position dictates what they must do and not do. Why do people like you keep insisting Tinubu must do everything? Why don't you ask Gani Adam's, Yinka Odumakin etal or our religious leaders to get us the Presidency and put us Yorubas in charge of the centre in 2023 then?
If you are Yoruba then all I can say is that you will appreciate what Tinubu is doing when it yields the result Awolowo's sectional approach could not.
That Awolowo never got to lead Nigeria and make her far greater than she is today, as we all know he would have done, is to the detriment of who if not Nigerians like me and you?
I totally back Tinubu's approach of refraining from appearing a sectional, clannish and feudal leader because such has never helped the career of anyone who wants to lead Nigeria.
Please try to understand sayings like "stooping to conquer" and "a means to an end" to see you are being unfair to Tinubu. Yorubas should be smart enough now to not be asking our national political leaders to act in openly sectional ways like our factional, ethnic and cultural leaders like Gani Adam's etal.
They all have different roles to play and I don't get why people like you want Tinubu to be jack of all trade and then master of non to the detriment of Yorubas.
Let Tinubu play the national politics and let others, and there are countless of them, take charge elsewhere. So basically all these story means Tinubu can dine with the devil just to get to achieve his aim? You must be out of your mind. So you think Tinubu is a smarter politician than Awolowo was? He's just a demystified ex senator and governor. Nothing special about him even among we Yorubas. He was disgraced in Oyo and Edo. He can't lace Awo's shoes man. What Awo did for Yorubaland, he hasn't done 5% of it. You all have no principles. It means nothing to you anymore. Hate it or love it Nigeria is very polarized. The Fulani you are drooling at their feet know this, brazenly flaunt it and their people are very passionate about their cause. Relationships and compromises you make today becomes the history of tomorrow and when generations to come struggle to make sense of and ask why Tinubu never stood up for his tribe, you'd say because he wanted to be a President? That's stupid and cowardly. |

Odewaleadesoye: With all sincerity my people, Nigeria has 3 major problems which need urgent attention. The problems are:
1. Religion: Before the introduction of either Christianity or Islam, Nigeria was peaceful and no worshipper of Sango would go to the house of Ogun worshipper to canvass his own belief to him. Everyone worshipped his or her own god gently and there was peace almost everywhere. Immediately Christianity and Islamic religions set in, things started going upside down. Christians won't want to see Muslims and vice versa.
Sometimes I wonder the essence of these religions.
2. Ethnicity: Another maggot that is eating this country up is Ethnicity.. I'm Yorùbá, you're Igbo and they are Haúsá. This is so serious in our country and the rate at which it's destroying this country is alarming.
3. Corruption: You'all should understand this. We are in deep mess because of this problem.
If Nigeria should tackle these 3 problems, trust me, this country will emerge the best in the world.
I don't have anything to say on his release for now.
ODEWALE ADESOYE Shhhh with your misrepresentation of facts. Christianity didn't come to Nigeria until the Portuguese/Brits made it to our coasts. The wave of Jihad had been sweeping across this geographical space prior to this time like a rabid dog destroying everything in its path. This culminated into the loss, relocation and destabilization of the Old Oyo Empire and Yorubaland in general as with other places. Christianity did not chase the original seat of Old Oyo Empire from Katunga to the one in modern Oyo today, Christianity didn't burn Afonja's estate and shrine and build a central mosque on it, the colonialists never forced religion on the people like the sons of Futa Jalons did even though they had the resources to do so. They concerned themselves with economic gains. Christianity never had a problem with anyone so if you want to point fingers at those historically synonymous with hate, killings and plundering, distinguish properly and know where to point. |
