Crime / Ondo Amotekun Arrests 2 Cemetery Guards Over Alleged Possession Of Human Heads by JaffyJoe(m): 11:48am On Jan 18, 2021 |
ONDO, Nigeria – Two cemetery guards were on Sunday arrested by men of the Ondo State Security Network Agency, otherwise known as Amotekun Corps for alleged possession of human heads. The two cemetery guards were said to be workers at a cemetery belonging to an old generation church in Surulere Area of Ondo town, headquarters of Ondo West Local Government Area of the state. Residents of the area alleged that the suspects had been tampering with corpses buried in the cemetery where they guard. One of the residents who craved anonymity disclosed that one of the security guards simply identified as Alhaji was apprehended with a bag containing the heads of dead bodies by those living in the area. The source said, “Today (Sunday) somebody went to defecate in a bush beside the cemetery and he saw Alhaji with a sledgehammer and he broke one of the tombs in the cemetery. After some minutes he came out with a bag. “So the person that saw him raised the alarm and we rushed to the scene. When we checked the bag Alhaji carried, we saw a human head in the bag. “When we went around the cemetery, we discovered that about 44 tombs have no dead bodies inside them, they have been exhumed by ritualists. So we have handed them over to the Amotekun corps.” Confirming the development, the Commander of Amotekun in the State, Chief Adetunji Adeleye, stated that the two suspects were rescued when the residents were about to lynch them. The Amotekun Commander, however, said human heads were not found on the suspects upon arrest. He said, “The suspects were rescued by our men when the residents were about to kill them. We have handed them over to the police.” When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, ASP Tee- Leo Ikoro said the suspects had not been handed over to the police. https://ogeneafrican.com/2021/01/18/amotekun-arrests-2-cemetery-guards-over-alleged-possession-of-human-heads-in-ondo/amp/?__twitter_impression=true |
Crime / Re: Kano Kids Rescued From The South Say Their Peers Avoid Them by JaffyJoe(m): 7:49am On Jan 17, 2021 |
This report has so many loopholes. Who abducted the kids? How many arrests has been made? It was said that they found some of them in a orphanage home, a place dedicate to helping those in need. The police should be explicit. If these kids were taken illegally, then it's absolutely wrong and people complicit should answer some questions. I think some of these parents were aware of how these kids left their domain. It's no different from how they groom kids into almajiris. 1 Like |

Indabello: Oponu I don't have the luxury for meaningless back and forth. I addressed your silly lies talking about Christian Militia, GEJ frocking with Telaviv whereas your political leaders go for Hajj every year without anyone making a big deal of it. Show me where Christians killed Muslims in Nigeria in the last 30 years because they do not belong to the same faith as theirs. Unlike you, I don't make stupid analysis so if you want ad it makes you sleep at night, you can say it was the Pope that sponsored 9/11. Talking about the press, it's a level playing ground for all parts of the country, if you and your idiotic comrades had any substantial allegation to spin, you would have used one of your numerous press houses or better-still, your mouthpieces like ACF, NGF. Also, you are in governance now, to establish a case or indict anyone is a walk in the park. But unfortunately for clowns like yourself, there was simply no evidence of such. Just ridiculous things things you usually make up in your mind to justify the evil plans you are always on about. Nobody asked for your sukuk funds/projects and I could careless that Jonathan attended. He was a weak president anyway, so you can shove that sukuk crap in your @$$. That's no automatic pass to embrace you adding me to an organization I as a citizen of a supposed secular state has no cultural or religious ties with. Mr man go fxxck yourself with your Taqiya bs. 1 Like |

Indabello: You are a fat liar! Your Taqiya can't work here. Bring your evidence that Jonathan funded a Christian Militia. First of all, there is no such thing as a Christian Militia in Nigeria. Don't bring us down to your level. Secondly, how is GEJ going to Israel for pilgrimage just like all your Muslim leaders do in several times a year to Saudi Arabia a problem? Have you guys not be using tax layer's money to find our membership in Organization of Islamic Country? In a supposed secular state. Arms were to be bought off the black market because of the US led embargo on Nigeria owing to claims of abuse & anti-homosexuality laws and private contractors used to compliment anti-terrorism war. Do you know now that in the foolishness of those who opposed these moves then, the current government is mulling using mercenaries too to fight BH? Dude we aren't all stupid here. |

bukatyne: These allusions you made are quite funny to me. There are no contradictions here. If for anything, It should tell you that God is a very rational Being. The first was an act of reproach due to disobedience inspired by Eve to an established law and God's instructions. The key thing was that there was a "law" in place. The second was Sarah using her free will to make a suggestion as human. She couldn't fathom bearing kids at 90. She broke no law by this act neither did Abram. All in all, both cases had different spiritual and earthly purpose to fulfill. Human think they are so smart now that they try to rationalize the way of God with the ways of Man. You can call Christianity anything you like but instructions are always clear without any element of ambiguity. "22 Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. 24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything." If you seek to reform the above quoted because it's not sufficiently mainstream for what you feel the type of Christianity you want is, then sis, you may want to explore other faiths. StaffofOrayan: Bro don't waste time with these Solagberus of Yorubaland living in an utopia of a unified Nigeria, what an irredeemable level of foolishness. Imagine these clowns saying Awo never became a president like it was supposed to skew my opinion favorably to Tinubu. Awo was a pragmatic personality and he said: "Nigerian is not a nation, it is a mere geographical expression" because he wanted fairness, justice and honest conversations. He fought a good and historic fight to the very last. These dumbos are not seeing past Tinubu occupying Aso Villa, they aren't thinking of where Yoruba would be 50yrs from now, these bastards are no asking why Buhari was vocal in company of Buba Maruwa, Abdulrahaman in 2000 challenging Lam Adeshina like "why are your people killing my people", these idiots had no problem with El Rufai speech that anyone who hurt a Fulani has only taken a loan they must repay in kind. Are these not the gold political leaders of the core north. These bozos had the nerve to say Aare Onakankanfo can handle criminal threats in a country where people who dare try to adopt self defense against the rampaging herdsmen in Kaduna South, Benue etc are killed and locked up by the same state agents. Christ is this how mentally brainwashed and derailed some of my Yoruba brothers have become? Has these treacherous ones ever read Samuel Johnson's The History of the Yorubas From the Earliest Times to the beginning of the British Protectorate? Indeed, George Santayana has said it all: "Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it". 1 Like |

Grayoso: So basically all these story means Tinubu can dine with the devil just to get to achieve his aim? You must be out of your mind. So you think Tinubu is a smarter politician than Awolowo was? He's just a demystified ex senator and governor. Nothing special about him even among we Yorubas. He was disgraced in Oyo and Edo. He can't lace Awo's shoes man. What Awo did for Yorubaland, he hasn't done 5% of it. You all have no principles. It means nothing to you anymore. Hate it or love it Nigeria is very polarized. The Fulani you are drooling at their feet know this, brazenly flaunt it and their people are very passionate about their cause. Relationships and compromises you make today becomes the history of tomorrow and when generations to come struggle to make sense of and ask why Tinubu never stood up for his tribe, you'd say because he wanted to be a President? That's stupid and cowardly. 6 Likes 1 Share |
Politics / Re: Atheist Mubarak Spends Holiday In Prison As Police Shun Court Order by JaffyJoe(m): 3:34am On Jan 09, 2021 |
Odewaleadesoye: Shhhh with your misrepresentation of facts. Christianity didn't come to Nigeria until the Portuguese/Brits made it to our coasts. The wave of Jihad had been sweeping across this geographical space prior to this time like a rabid dog destroying everything in its path. This culminated into the loss, relocation and destabilization of the Old Oyo Empire and Yorubaland in general as with other places. Christianity did not chase the original seat of Old Oyo Empire from Katunga to the one in modern Oyo today, Christianity didn't burn Afonja's estate and shrine and build a central mosque on it, the colonialists never forced religion on the people like the sons of Futa Jalons did even though they had the resources to do so. They concerned themselves with economic gains. Christianity never had a problem with anyone so if you want to point fingers at those historically synonymous with hate, killings and plundering, distinguish properly and know where to point. 1 Like |

MelesZenawi: You are wrong again sir. The entire Fulani population in Kwara isn't up to the population of Offa town. The Emir in the whole of Kwara weren't up to 4 until the sell-out of a governor elevated like 3 to a first class Emirship in 2016. They are still less than 10. Yoruba Oba from that state are nearly in their hundreds. One day, everyone will find his levels and realign accordingly. 1 Like |

Valkrie: If history is what you make of it, what makes facts facts? Do you think people just research and publish things just for show. It’s called documentation for a reason. That the world war 1&2 happened was a historical fact, that Oduduwa was the progenitor of the Yoruba tribe is an anthropological fact, that Jesus Christ existed is an archeological fact. If anyone wants to change or present a different views to all these anywhere or on Wikipedia, an acceptable superior reference material that exposes the flaw of the current one is needed. This is Wikipedia terms. 2 Likes |
