APC LEGISLATORS TIP GBAJABIAMILA FOR
DEPUTY SPEAKER
As the debate over the resumption date of the
National Assembly continues, there are strong
indications that the 174 members of the All
Progressives Congress (APC) are angling to
topple the cart of the House of Representatives
leadership in favour of some ranking members
of the party like the current minority leader, Femi
Gbajabiamila.
The ranks of the APC swelled December when
37 PDP lawmakers defected giving the
opposition party a slight majority in the House.
But this falls short of the constitutional
requirement of 181 members needed to effect a
change of leadership in the House.
On the sideline, some members have cut short
their holiday and were said to have held private
meetings in Abuja on how to effect the
leadership change without rancour.

JUST IN: RIVERS STATE ON FIRE via Jasper
Azuatalam
Two courts in Rivers State allegedly burnt down
as the prepare to arraign Evans Bibi for
contempt of court orders because he still lays
claim to the office of the Rivers State Speaker
after the court ruled and ordered that he should
refraining from doing so. I am not a prophet but
I can predict that if some people are not called
to order by the appropriate authorities, Yobe
state and Zamfara will be a joke compared to
Rivers State in few weeks. It is easier to destroy
than to build. What you destroy in days may not
be build in years. We hear that the crisis in the
North is a religious crisis, is the one in Rivers
also a religious crises.

Ikengawo: Chie yoruba people will die making noise. So because government workers are being paid for their work you're celebrating??

I beginning to wonder what SWners will feel about Nigeria if they left their region. A lot of the things the celebrate on here (paying civil servants) show me that all the hatred for GEJ comes from blaming SW backwardness on him and assuming the rest of the country is suffering like that. This is why his detractors, North and SW, are the only nigerians still living in dungeons
what is this one saying. tell me where it is in Federal constitution that workers should be paid 13th month Salary. even your president can't do such. this is a gesture worth commending from our amiable governor. this is not the first time of this man, he did the same last year.

WHAOOOO!!! PROMISE KEPT, AREGBESOLA
PAYS 13TH MONTH AS PROMISED
YESTERDAY.
The workers of the State of Osun are currently in
their various banks making withdrawals after
receiving the alerts of the payment of the 13th
month bonus salary for the festive season as
promised by the governor.
The 13th month bonus is the 100% of the basic
salary being paid by the government to the
workers during festive period like this since
Aregbesola came to office.
It would be recalled that the Ogbeni Aregbesola
promised yesterday that the workers will get
their 13th month salary today and the
December salary will be paid next week

Just watched APC rally in Rivers State via NTA. I pity GEJ and give kudos to Amechi. Well, Things will unfold in 2014 no doubt about it. If you are a neutral man and you watch APC rally, no doubt about it, you may have a change of mind of joining the train of APC. Wait facts must be told, Orators like Tinubu, Amechi, Fayemi and the likes speaking, you will be convinced. Tell me who are the people PDP get. If there are things that I will not wait to see in 2014, it will be this political scene. what about you? May God help us.
CrimeWife Slits Husband's Manhood Over Food Allowance by jagabanare(op): 12:22pm On Dec 23, 2013
A banker has been arrested by operatives of the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly slitting her husband’s manhood. She was said to have taken that action over his alleged refusal to give her money.

The incident occurred about 2am last Monday at their 99, Falolu Street, Surulere, Lagos home.

The victim, Olamilekan Idowu Daniji, 34, told The Nation yesterday that his wife of three years, Nofisat, woke him up from sleep on the fateful day, threatening that between them, one person must die.

“At first, I thought armed robbers broke into our home because she hit me hard, waking me forcefully. She tore my under-pant and held my private part. Everything was like a movie. And before I could say anything, she cut my private part. When I saw blood I shouted and she said: ‘That is where you will die.’ She abandoned me and fled,” Daniji said.

He recalled that two days earlier, his wife, who works in a bank, quarrelled with him over his inability to provide food allowance.

He said: “I am a gospel artiste. On Saturday morning – December 14 – I was preparing to go out when my wife came and said she needed money for food. I told her I had nothing on me. But before I left, she told me there were some noodles in the house which she and my son would eat. After she finished preparing it, she left a little in the pot which I ate before going out. But before I left the house, I called one of my sales representatives who told me he sold some copies and had about N2,500 for me.

“After collecting the money, I went home and my wife said she wanted to eat fufu and white soup. I bought it for her. Shortly after, she requested bread, which I also bought for her. I did not complain because she is pregnant. On Sunday, I went to church, came back home and saw my wife and my son eating rice. I was happy that at least they had something to eat. I went out and bought beans and bread for myself and as I was eating, my wife came and started abusing me. She said I was selfish; that I did not care to ask how she got money to prepare the rice they ate. When she realised I was not responding, she carried the plate of beans and turned it on my head. She held my tie and threatened to strangle me. I begged her but she would not listen. So, I forced myself off her and ran away. But she caught up with me and broke a bucket on my head.”

Daniji added: “She broke three empty bottles and attempted to stab me, but I escaped through my sister’s shop. Her mother came around and I called my mother’s sister and they were able to calm her. After we settled, I left the house.”

The artiste said when he returned in the evening, he could not find his son. He asked his wife but she said nothing, but his elder sister told him that his mother-in-law took his son away.

“I told my wife to go and bring my son and that if I did not see him before 8pm, she would not like what I would do to her. At exactly 8pm, she left the house and came back after 30 minutes without my son. We quarrelled, after which I slept off on the chair. That was where she woke me up and cut my private part.”

Daniji said he was rushed to a private infirmary in Surulere by members of his family.

The matter, he added, was reported at the Barracks Police Station, Surulere, and the woman was arrested.

In her statement at the station, Nofisat wrote: “Ever since we got married, my sister-in-law and her twin brother have not allowed us peace. I was praying that my husband would make money and rent his own apartment so that we can live together in peace without any interference. I did not use knife on him; it was my finger nails.”

Daniji said he disallowed the police from charging the matter to court, because all he wanted was separation from his wife.

NYSCRoad That Leads To Nysc Camp Ede, Osun State. by jagabanare(op): 2:11pm On Nov 03, 2013
To all my fellow Otondos coming to Osun State to serve. Let me briefly describe to you how you get to the camp ground without asking much people or even you may not ask anybody at all. If you are coming from South South, South East, Lagos, Ogun state your alighting point will be "Akoda" or "Aisu" Junction from Aisu junction to nysc camp can be trekable so the taxi driver or okada man shouldnot charge you more than 50naira unless you have much loads. but from Akoda it should not be morethan 100naira. But those roads could be dangerous when it getting to late at night so the best option for you is to come and alight in Osogbo. For the people coming from Northern Side of Nigeria too Osogbo is your best alighting option. Osogbo is the state capital of Osun State. Anywhere you are dropped in Osogbo, just take taxi (small bus) going to Oke Fia. Tell the driver that you are going to Annexe Oke Fia. From Oke Fia you will take Ede too like 100naira. anywhere you are in ede, you can take taxi or okada to nysc camp. I wish you all safe journey as you re coming to the best nysc orientation camp. You can add me on Whatsapp if you don't still get it 08034993666 or pin 7BE574F9.

Our real problem in Nigeria is not about the leaders but we the followers. What is Igbo in this? did Stella Odua stole igbo money or was alleged to have taken what belongs to the igbos but Nigeria as a whole. Ordinarily, in a developed country she would have resigned by now. I am so sorry for this country because we are sitting on a keg of powder little time now, it will explodes.
