Politics / Re: This Is The Reason Fashola Does Not Want To Be Probed - A Must Read. by jaguar09(m): 10:55am On Feb 19, 2010
Weather the post is a lie or not, how can olowolafe happens to be the only credible contractor in Lagos? i for one pay about 15% of my monthly income on tax, the numbers are if i earn 100K then i am taxed 15K per month. i live in Lekki where there is no road, pipe borne water, government clinic. etc i even pay for waste disposal and security (vigilante). all this is what my tax should provide for me. not to mention the almighty POWER supply. those who have argued against the post should have a rethink. think of your immediate environment, the standard of living, hours spent on traffic, the menance of the torts on the road with all sorts of uniform, tormenting people who indirectly pay their salary through tax. it's annoying and only logical to ask the kind of question the poster mentioned above. Lagos state has become a revenue generating conscious state, where you must pay for everything. like someone said, car radio permit, car park, etc. God forsake you, your car breaks down along the road, before you go get a mechanic or whatever to fix it, it's either the torts in uniform have tolled it alausa or the torts in mofty have robbed you off your car accessories. LAGOS SUCKS, i know people will ask me to leave if am no more comfortable here, but mind you the consititution empowers me have freedom of residence in any part of Nigeria.

The activities of Fashola led government should be investigated for the records. little wonder there was a riff btw him in tinubu. i guess it maybe due to unequal sharing of income
Autos / Re: sold sold sold GOLF MK 3 FOR SALE 350K by jaguar09(m): 3:28pm On Feb 17, 2010
@ poster, ur altitude towards people is bad, i doubt if you understand what it takes to be a marketer or a sales person. Judging by your comments you are rude and dont have courtesy.

i go pay 10,000, remove the engine, the tyres and the bunette. then call me on 0700YOURPAPAYANSH. grin grin grin

Family / Re: Why Don't Nigerian Parents Listen To Their Children? by jaguar09(m): 2:38pm On Jan 06, 2010
Am really feeling bitter at the level of decay in the society, even someone who calls herself a mother is defending this bullshit. Agitator and bokaharam you guys are cool, i WILL never support evil, for God's sake this girl is 16 meaning a teenager. She should be college or tertitary school by now and one is telling me she deserves to have her life to herself now. i doubt the future of Nigeria if pple like poster, axeman and all those who support this happens to become leaders in this country.

the Facts:
at 16 she parties where alcohol is served.
at 16 she is already having issues with the house of God (Church).
at 16 she is already dating someone, and the fool she is dating is talking marriage.

The Truth:
at 16 she is meant to be developing her God given talent and planning her future.
at 16  she is meant to stick to her mother's advice and guidiance for proper knowledge of womanhood.
at 16 she is meant to stay clear of intimate relationship, because dat can ruin her life, career, education etc.

Someone please tell me his thread is a joke, if not we are in for the big fight. Madam rebranding GET READY.
Family / Re: Why Don't Nigerian Parents Listen To Their Children? by jaguar09(m): 7:46am On Jan 06, 2010
@Poster, Axeman

Now i see why Naija youths will never rise for their right, we are abandoning our culture in all phases and embracing strange cultures all in the name of civilization. i blame all this on the economy of Nigeria. had it been that our leaders do the right thing people will see reason to be proud to be a Nigerian and an African. Remember the bible say "bring up a child in the way of the Lord and when he grows he will not depart from it".

@harakiri i concor with you. many Naija youth are derailing from their background, God created you to be a Nigerian and an African for you to fulfill purpose here on Earth, he gave you that identity, culture and race the best you can do is abide by it and be proud of it. see the good in the African and Nigerian culture so that it may be well with you. Being well with you means having Peace with you fellow man. even your enemies will celebrate you because you are fulfiling your purpose.
Romance / Re: Is It Compulsory To Wash Your Husband's Clothes? by jaguar09(m): 11:05pm On Jan 03, 2010

Crime / Re: Christmas Parcel Bomb Rocks Lagos Media House by jaguar09(m): 9:45pm On Dec 23, 2009
let the bombing begin, all the bad guys. this is the generation of those born in the 70s and 80s to rule nigeria. those 20s, 30s, 40s 50s and 60s punk ass men and women must go or die.
Career / Re: UBA Bank Downsizes by jaguar09(m): 9:04am On Dec 20, 2009

Career / Re: Masters Degree Or Continue With Present Job by jaguar09(m): 8:57am On Dec 09, 2009
it is indeed the best thread i have seen on Nairaland ever, everybody commented maturedly and proffessionally. to all those commented and gave their words of advice i thank you on and to the poster nice one. what i can say here is key, you need to analyse your situation in a logical manner, putting th 3F factors in copy. ur Future, ur Fiancee and Family.

am going to face similar situation next year, i want to do my master, get serious to a lady, with the ever demanding nature of the IT profession i am in for a big fight. these are areas of a man's life that are all important but we have to manage them use scale of preference. So figure out which one is best for you now. marriage is not a school you can decide to drop out from if things out wrong. be wise. the way Nigeria is going in the hands of our present leader you mit regret leaving you Job for master now. do a futuristic study of trends aroung you. wish you all the best.

Romance / Re: Most Igbo Girls Marry Late Why? by jaguar09(m): 3:34pm On Nov 30, 2009
@Poster below is the answer to your question.

@poster, Igbo gals dosen't marry late. And even if they do, that is why u hardly see them divorcing their husband b'cos they are matured in mind. And there parents cannot give them out to an old man (@14) to be used as a slave. She will be a house wife while the old man goes around looking for a matured ladies for concubine.

we know of the high rate of divorce amongst the Northerns, the West is full of bastard children born out of wedlock or failed marriage. why not ask questions as regards this unethical tread in Nigeria.
Politics / Re: Dr. Goodluck Jonathan Comes Under Pressure To Resign by jaguar09(m): 3:28pm On Nov 30, 2009
the best for this country is to DIVIDE, ONLY then will peace rein, We have too many interest groups in this country, there can't be any way things will get better because all groups will NEVER agree on a common stance. we are heading for division. The story maybe true because of the state of Yar' Adua's health. if the senate and House of reps member are sincere and wants the good of this country they would have compel Mr President to resign based on health ground. NLders go read the constitution you will find a justification for this action. that is why we are NOT yet there in term of propagating the rule of law. and here the Judiaciary is failing Nigerians. even if we divide there will still be power sharing issues regionally but the magnitude will never be compared to this. i await when the bell of DIVISION will ring.

Also i want to warn those Nigerians in diaspora who think they can hide away from the harsh realities of the plights of Nigerian here to desist from posting comment they don't know about, to me you guys are contributing NOTHING to the growth and well being of these country. if you think good of this country relocate back home and be in on ground to fight injustice. i get nervous read post from most of you guys out of the shores of Nigeria. BIAFRA will stand soon.

Politics / Re: "hypertension With Arthritis." - Bode George Seek Bail by jaguar09(m): 3:47pm On Nov 01, 2009
Hope the judges won't grant him his request. If they do then i think Yar Adua should be asked to resign on Health grounds since his to not medically stable to administer the affairs of the country. He is just using the nation's money to take care of himself all for free when a common man on the street dies because he and his family member could not raise money to pay for hospital bills.
Politics / Re: Senate Rejects Nobel Prize Nomination For Yar’adua by jaguar09(m): 11:44am On Nov 01, 2009
Nobel peace prize for that sick bastard, milking this country dry. These Senators are jokers. God, i wish i could get 5 more guys like myself and just blow up the damn House of Senate with them suckers all up in there. I bet, it will restore some sanity to the country and keep off others who think they can continue to play the masses around like football.

Politics / An Open Letter To President Yar'adua by jaguar09(m): 2:53pm On Oct 10, 2009
Let analysis this together, because the end of militancy in Nigeria may mean begining of revolutionaries. am in for bombing, killing of dirty politicians, it's time to act. the violent taketh it by force. your contributions matters. because am fed up.

exempt:

Mr. President, what were you thinking when you made the decision to go Saudi Arabia to open a University when all the Universities in Nigeria were closed due to a labor dispute between your Government and ASUU? What were you thinking when you choose to go to Saudi Arabia instead of attending the UN general Assembly? If it was so important that you go to Saudi Arabia, why did you choose a low level Minister in Mr. Ojo Maduekwe instead of the Vice President to represent Nigeria? I am sure that you are aware that Mr. Maduekwe got the humiliation of his life.

Autos / What Is Your Own Definition Of Success. by jaguar09(m): 7:36am On Oct 06, 2009
Hello Nairalanders, the subject reflects the statement by the PDP national Chairman Chief Vincent Ogbulafor yesterday that they would hold a rally on 10-10-09 at the eagle square abuja to celebrate the success of the Yar-Adua' s amnesty programme.

My question is what is the definition of success? has the FG achieved success by making the millitants surrender their arms? or is it when the root cause of the problem that came rise to millitancy is resolved and all living in peace?

this i call praise singers, who would agree to anything just to be heard and seen as vibrant in Govt. this man has yet again proved how back ward he is. " Man who establishes a business and cannot manage it effectively is not yet a successful business man". what is you take.
Properties / Re: Pictures Dont Lie: The Real Mowe And Ofada Agents Wont Tell You About by jaguar09(m): 12:27pm On Aug 08, 2009
I'm suprised to hear people think that those places are partially or fully developed. This is to show how easy it is to con Nigerians.Any hoax can easily be believed in this country. But personally I still think its a good place to invest your liquid cash that u're not ready to use in the next 5-10yrs cos its definitely gonna keep on appreciating, the story will keep on spreading. Moreover many places in Lagos were unhabitable 10-15yrs ago.So keep on buying but don't get too excited

i agree with you, Lekki in 1995 where i first visited alpha beach was like this. My concerns are that why on earth would pple buy stuff they did not see. you can buy but not for immediate development, ensure you visit the government authorities for you pay am dim. i believe with time these places will be the bomb. just as Lekki is today.
Politics / Re: Dangote Is Now Stock Exchange President by jaguar09(m): 11:27am On Aug 08, 2009
His emergence was improper. because a teacher can not be a student at the same time in the same class he/she teaches.

Nigerians and NSE investor open your eyes. he may have performed credibilly well as vice president because he is not at the herm of affairs,

lets hope other stalkholder holder dont buy into his monopolitic nature of doing business. Just as Dangote has done, with Sugar, and other consumable goods. God help this country.
