Registeredguest:
I'm a lady in my mid- twenties, I got married aged 22, (always wanted to marry early) on the second year of our marriage we were blessed with a baby, parked to our house and things were rosy. I have always been a workaholic due to that I have never lack as a young lady in terms of finance.

I have always helped him in his house projects, might not be much 100k, 50k, 20k when need be. I never siphoned my money to myself, as a young lady I envisioned my pretty little family on my head, (3 children, handsome husband and pretty wife with a fine car living happily)

Now to the main problem,I think it all started when he told me he has seen a genuine plot of land that we should buy it together, I told him no, I want the land all by myself I have money to pay for it, (just want to have something tangible for myself alone) he said no problem. He sent me an account number of the seller I sent 600k to the seller.we did the necessary documents and everyone was happy.

After some weeks, I decided to dig around his phone then I discovered that the account I sent the 600k to, refunded 200k back to my husband, woke him up instantly I demanded for an explanation.he story no make sense. I was heartbroken, for months I was hurt...the two families got involved and settled the issue.money I no see...

Ever since this issue happened, the home has not been peaceful, fighting everyday. I find it so difficult to forgive him. I insult him, he insults me, he broke my phone, I break his door...I was demanded for an apology he says
"I'm his wife, no be today man dey collect him wife money, he say woman go build house for him husband no ear no go hear" those things hurt me more... everyday was fight, I parked out,I went to my sister's place,he didn't call, he didn't reach out.

3 weeks after I parked I discovered I was pregnant, and informed him immediately through text.i stayed at my sister's place for 2 months no word from him... I decide to rent my own place,I rented a place and went to his house to park my remaining stuff,I meet him home,as soon as he sees I came with a truck to park my things he knelt down and started begging me...I was like,na today I commot for your house why now? He say he think say I dey play, he no think say I serious like this, for good two months you didn't say anything why now...with enough dragging I parked my things to my new rented apartment... since the day I park till now this man has not allowed me rest, his family members has been calling me to come back home, his dad came from the village to plead on his behalf.

My dad is insisting I should not go back...I'm now 6 months pregnant ,I need a father in my children's life.im finding it difficult to forgive him,I'm struggling within myself to forgive and trust this man again.

How can I let go of the past and move back with him...I decided to pay him a visit on Friday,he was happy I came,he did everything possible to show me he has changed but that feeling of betrayal and hurt is there.i left there this morning with querrell,I know I started the querrell, but I can't just seem to forgive him.please I need your help and advice on this pressing issue of mine.

No insult please, I have cried enough.
I believe your husband has learnt his lesson already because this is the first time such things happened. Please once you have married a man then learn not to dwell on the fallacies of my father or my mother says this or that. What do you want as a person!? . You only told us about your husband eating your 200k and for that you cannot forgive him as what? Tell him that act bring distrust and forgive him simple. Money has can cause a lots of troubles at between man and woman at home but believe me the communications between you and your husband has solutions to them both. That same 200k or more than that he can give you tomorrow once that same table turns around. So please forgive your husband and go back home and please don't listen to your father on this as long as your husband is not beating or leaving you for other women.

You don't need such a stupid, lazy, insensitive and selfish man in your life or your kids'. Move on and continue to provide for yourself and your kids. He abandoned you for months and was trying to manipulate you emotionally when you went to pack things, don't be deceived.

Don't let his family's plead to deceive you. That man can never change. That's his personality and once you go back and deliver that baby, you will be trapped!

You can do well without him! Marriage is not an achievement. There are many successful people in the world raised by single mothers. Don't let the society define your happiness!
See yeye advice you the advice person here. Marriage is not always a bed of roses. Just be mentally ready for such things..... Thank God is not infidelity. Money issues in marriage is normal especially if you as a woman earn reasonable more than the man. Please madam forgive your husband and go back to his house simple and learn how to forgive before he offend you the next time and that's the true definition of marriage.

BusinessRe: Why Can't The CBN Just Print More Money? by Jaisman26(m): 9:51am On Sep 04, 2022
PNomsule:
I am really just curious as to "why can't we just print more money and solve the poverty problem in the country?"

Terms like "inflation" and the "devaluing of the naira" are the usual buzz answers to that question. Also, people give the example that if we were to print more money and just give everyone N5,000,000 for example, then everyone would go out and buy things, thus making "THINGS" more scarce and in short supply and hence driving up the prices of things (simple demand/supply economics). But herein lies the catch for me... With TRUE unemployment rate somewhere around 33% in the country, if DEMAND for "THINGS" rose, then I would think that companies would WANT to hire more people and build more processing plants to keep up with demand and raise their profits. So, the influx of cash (printed money) would seem to solve the unemployment problem.

Again, we have agencies that regulates pricing in the economy: PPPRA, Price Control Board (Ministry of Commerce) etc, with those, can't the likely over pricing of commodities (THINGS) be controlled and gazetted to avoid the story of "too much money chasing fewer goods"?

In the final analysis, a robust and health competitive economy would have been created and underemployment issues largely solved.

Economists and Analysts lets discuss?
Where is the middle ground on money printing?
Now we have to marry the positives of money printing and “inflation” fears. We live in uncertain times and while the Nigerian government is still recovering from the damaging effects of a pandemic that is still out there, it is prudent to view money printing as “contingency planning.” The government has an obligation to achieve macroeconomic objectives – albeit responsibly.

The only way to clamp down on the potential inflation from money printing is through an increase in economic activity to be commensurate with the amount of money that is created. An increase in output will increase the number of goods in the markets and that would counter the “too much money chasing too few goods” narrative of inflation.

This is where the Federal Government comes in. If the government wants the carte blanche of printing money, there has to be economic activities to bridge the gap of money supply and demand.

To do this, the Government has to find a way of increasing economic activities through policies and schemes to get people working and producing. The ripple effect of this would lead to companies and industries expanding, where tax generation would increase and a more organic way of creating money would spur economic growth.

The Finance Minister, this week reported that the Federal Government has generated 73% of targeted revenue so far from 2021 and in the first 8 months of the year, the Federal Government has spent 74% of revenue servicing debt. Nigeria’s public debts need to be addressed. If public debt increases arithmetically, revenue has to increase exponentially. That is how the country can curb unhealthy debts.

Speaking of debts, states need to pay up the loan created by the Central Bank a few years ago. The N614 billion credit facilities given to states in budget support and bailouts to enable them pay salaries in the past cannot be swept under the carpet. State governments need to do more in internal revenue generation through state-coordinated economic activities.

As long as the money printing option is still open, we should keep an eye on the total debt-to-GDP ratio (currently less than 35%) to see the long-term effects of money supply so as to not risk reducing the value of the domestic currency. Nigeria has to find a “sustainable” fiscal path so that the nation’s debt does not overrun the economy. #Copied

Cristiano Ronaldo: Manchester United forward's agent Jorge Mendes approaches Napoli over potential move
Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen has been discussed as part of a deal involving Cristiano Ronaldo heading to Napoli; Manchester United forward's representative Jorge Mendes has approached Napoli; Osimhen is a player admired at United and on their list of possible replacements
Cristiano Ronaldo's representative Jorge Mendes has approached Napoli over a potential move.

Mendes is working hard to find Ronaldo the solution he wants - to play in the Champions League - but also to provide a solution for United, which is a replacement.

One proposal Mendes has made to Napoli is for Ronaldo to move there and United to buy their Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen.
Sky Sports News understands Osimhen is a player admired at United and on their list of possible replacements.
Napoli, however, would only accept a triple-digit offer for Osimhen and it is difficult to see how United could afford him with the money they are prepared to commit to buying Antony from Ajax.

Nairaland GeneralAdamawa Suspends Admissions After Muslims Protest Payment Of Fees in church by Jaisman26(op): 6:17pm On Aug 22, 2022

THE Adamawa State College of Nursing and Midwifery has suspended the admissions it started on Tuesday after some Muslims in the state protested against the payment of parts of the admission fees into a microfinance bank owned by a church.
The school had directed applicants to pay the sum of N500 professional fee meant for the state Nursing and Midwifery Council into an account opened in the Brethren Microfinance Bank in Yola, the state capital, where the school is also located.
All applicants must also pay N5,715 for the admission form. The payment for the admission form was to be paid in other banks.
But some Muslims, led by one Shehu Ismail, protested the school management’s decision to use the bank owned by church to collect the Nursing and Midwifery Council fee.
The group claimed the payment would increase the bank’s financial strength.
Besides, they said the school’s decision to use the bank smacked off “a gradual Christianisation of the state structures”.
Part of a widely-shared write-up by the group reads: “Our findings revealed that the Brethren Microfinance Bank Ltd, with the office address at No 1, EYN headquarters, Kwarshi, Adamawa State, was incorporated in Yola, the state capital, with registration number 1423616. It was registered on 07 July 2017, and its current status is unknown.
“As the church’s establishment, through the bank, EYN will give the church some financial strength and grant the youth scholarships, capital, and the likes.
“This is unacceptable as the EYN will not accept any bank established by an Islamic organisation or the Mosque to be patronised by public institutions in a plural religious state like Adamawa.

“We are hereby calling on those who can reach out to the Adamawa state governor to let him address our misgivings. We suspect as gradual Christianisation of the state structures.”
The ICIR reporter contacted the school provost, Lami Aminu, over the development on Friday. She confirmed the group’s action and the suspension of the admission.

She said: “The issue is simple. There’s no crisis, except for those that didn’t really understand. On this (admission) committee, we have a board comprising people from both religions. They agreed that they would use that bank. That was exactly what happened.

“When students started paying, it was a professional fee. Is there any problem there? People interpret things the way they want. That is just what is happening. We have debunked it. I have suspended the admission.

“The professional fee is used to maintain the Nursing and Midwifery Committee at the state level. It’s not for the bank. How will it be for the bank?”

What the school wrote on its admission notice
The school issued the admission notice on August 16.

Applicants were to obtain the form via Remita with their automated teller machine (ATM) card or generate Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) and pay at any bank after getting the admission form at a designated website.

As said above, the admission form cost N5,715, plus the N500 fee meant for the state Nursing and Midwifery Council.

Applicants were to upload the following with their form on the website where they pick the form: birth certificate, indigene letter, primary school leaving certificate, testimonial and other results.

They were also to print three copies of the form and submit them to the college with their e-receipt by August 31, when the admission was scheduled to close.

The school registrar, Ibrahim Abubakar, signed the admission notice.

The school offered admissions into Basic Nursing, Basic Midwifery, Community Nursing and Community Midwifery programmes.

Community programmes are for indigenes only, according to the school management.

After making the payments with the account numbers provided, applicants were to bring their payment tellers to the college.
The ICIR’s findings about the bank
Checks by this newspaper showed that there might be Muslims and Christians on the microfinance bank board going by the names of its directors.

As the protesting Muslims claimed, the bank was incorporated in Yola, with registration number 1423616.

It was also registered on July 7, 2017, and has been inactive on Nigeria’s Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC). Institutions with inactive status on the government’s website have failed to meet important obligations, which may not stop their operations for some period.
The ICIR also confirmed that the bank’s office address is at the headquarters of its owner – the church – in Kwarshi, Adamawa State.

However, this newspaper could not find any phone number to contact the bank.

Checks on its website and all popular social media handles yielded no result. The bank did not also respond to a message sent to it by the reporter on the crisis, hours before publishing this report.

Below are the directors and other stakeholders of the bank.

Obi is bound to fail how will he be the president amidst two major opposition party but i trust the political prostitutes plans is to decamp to PDP. Scamming the youths like he scammed Atiku to gain political relevance nationwide.
A vote for Obi is a vote for fake product and deception.
Maybe you are mistaken Obi with the FAKE PROPHETS PRODUCTS

I'm actually not a Yoruba but I've lived in Yoruba land, Lagos precisely for long

Any Yoruba, Hausa or fulani man and woman campaigning for Obi should have a rethink and retrace their step back. Though this isn't supposed to be so but you see those IGBOS have turned this election to tribalistic one. They have even turn it to religious one

I will support and vote for Tinubu. He has more achievements, antecedents and legacies to point at as a governor and when he left government than EVERY other contestants

Tinubu is very much accommodating and tolerance than other contestants. IGBOS are taking political position in Lagos. IGBOS are civil servants in Lagos and other South western states. IGBOS are doing businesses freely in Lagos and other south western region

Please go to any eastern state to see if you'd see any Yoruba or Hausa man as ordinary councillor. It is a TABOO to the Igbo

To them their igbo president in form of Obi is the best after bread and butter while others are nothing to write home about. Support Tinubu or Atiku and watch them curse, bash or threaten you. They accused you of being paid for supporting Tinubu or Atiku while them are doing it freely. They always insult the Fulani and Hausas and call them all sorts of names. They even call them cow, almajiri etc. They insult the Yorubas calling them fulani slaves. They condemned Nigeria as a country. Claiming Nigeria is a ZOO

ACHIEVEMENT- I WILL VOTE TINUBU
TOLERANCE & ACCOMMODATING- I WILL VOTE TINUBU

For the northerners who reside in the north you can ask any of your family or friends living in Lagos and other South western states they will tell you how Yoruba are so friendly, loving and accommodating. Go to the state headquarter at Alausa ikeja you'll see igbos holding top position without any discrimination

Go to east and see how all positions are occupied completely by all igbos.

An average IGBOS are resentful, spiteful, hateful, bittered et al. They literally see themselves better, superior and more sophisticated than other tribes.

PLEASE verify this my claim if you aren't aware of it and make a decision on who to campaign and vote for

I leave you to your conscience
Go and die with your hatred for Igbos......is your Bat coming for only yoruba people? If you don't see anything worse in pmb that cornered everything in Nigeria to fulanis why are you hating Igbos. Tell us your tribe and I will tell you what your tribe stand for. Bigotry is your surname for sure. But as for me and my entire household in the North are voting Peter Obi come 2023....

THEY'RE IN THE STRUGGLE TOGETHER BUT THE MUSLIMS ARE THE TARGET OF THE ISRAELI GENOCIDE.
Park well oga...... This is a retaliatory attack from Israel. Condemn the terrorist first and secondly Palestinians are people made up of Christians and Muslims but why are you so sentimental about only the Muslims
