theoldpretender:
I don't think APC is that powerful.... cheesy

The thing is, oil is being discovered in more places....and at the same time, new technologies mean that oil can be extracted more efficently and from hard toreach places.

(Fun fact...in my parents house is a textbook Iused to use that said we would run out of oil by the early 2000. Did not happen though).

Only way for oilprcies toshoot up is for Trump to suddenly sanction the Saudis re Kashoggi. But that aint going to happen...and the Saudis are going to scratch Trump's back by keeping oil low....OPEC or no OPEC.
I understand you, bro. If it took Buhari/APC over 6 months to appoint ministers, it showed that Buhari/APC was not prepared for leadership. Leadership is not about propaganda.

Very annoying that most of the things APC criticised during 2015 election campaigns, she is doing now and even worse!:
- Fuel subsidy is a fraud, yet, APC is paying over 4 times what GEJ paid as subsidy per year.
- Fuel is supposed to sell around N45, yet APC govt is making Nigerians to cough out N145 per litre from N87 under GEJ govt.
-Book Haram will be a thing of the past under 3 months, Over 3 years now and boko haram is killing our soldiers any how.
-No medical tourism, yet Buhari has spent so much of our national money on medical tourism, without explaining anything to Nigerians.
- APC wii create 3 million jobs every year. APC caused the loss of jobs of over 300 million workers.
- APC will stabilise the Naira, yet on assumption of power APC govt destabilised the Naira that it became more worthless...
- etc etc etc

I hate lies and propaganda.

What abt those that sold far above $100. Do u know oil price was still above $70 when gej started borrowing to pay salaries and many states started having issues paying salaries...
APC knows the problems of Nigeria before coming to power. So, APC should work quietly to achieve results instead of blaming every other administrations.

If I may ask, how many campaign promises has APC fulfilled?

The evil tongue of APC is seriously affecting the price. Even when oil price was almost $80 per barrel, APC was still crying that the oil price is low. Beware of what you say.

Politics › Re: Soldiers Massacare: Buhari Sends Defense Minister To Meet Chad's President by jamace(m): 8:34am On Nov 24, 2018
Chad is not the problem.

When soldiers are killed, govt will say no soldier was killed.Result is low morale for the soldiers.
When soldiers are killed, the govt does not give a damn. This is serious low morale to the soldiers.
Some soldiers complained of officers eating their allowances/ allowances not been paid. No action from higher authority.
Officers and soldiers have been killed in suspicious ways, suggesting insider action. No action from authority.
Many officers and soldiers complained of overstay in the mission area. Authority threatens them with court martial.
Injured soldiers are not properly medically taken care of. Low morale for the soldiers.
Many allegations that the commanders do business with boko haram and send the soldiers to die. Authority remains deaf to the cry.
Etc etc etc

The govt and military authority must do the needful. Weapons/equipment only do not win battles, the man behind the weapons/equipment does. The govt and military authority must take care of welfare of the men for better result.

Politics › Re: It’s ‘astonishing’ For GEJ To Claim There’s More Corruption Now Than Under Him by jamace(m): 8:56pm On Nov 23, 2018
Food for thought:

GEJ wanted to increase fuel pump price to N141 per litre in 2012 in order to stop fuel subsidy payment of N300 billion per year. Buhari increased pump price to N145 per litre in 2015 and is paying fuel subsidy of N1.4 Trillion (Over 4 times what GEJ was sad to pay) per year. Is NNPC under Buhari not milking the country dry?

Surely the corruption under Buhari stinks to high heavens. Period.

TONYE001:
First and foremost, this is not a partisan thread. As a matter of fact, the current crop of leaders we have are the worst failure we've ever suffered as a country.

What is happening up there in the North? Enough of the media propaganda and poorly-cooked lies these people dish out daily. Enough of the cheap political points they score at the expense of the lives of our soldiers. Enough of the deceit. Enough of the politics!

I ask again, what's happening in our northern states? I can't wrap my head around the fact that people are killed on a daily basis like what? Chickens? Scratch that! Like mosquitoes! The Boko Haram onslaught continues to flourish.

What's happening up there in the North? How can we have a retired General as a president and there is absolutely no significant impact in the enemy camp? What about the years of experience as a military personnel? What about the "aura" being a General carries?

One thing is sure. If we fail to face these insurgents squarely, this menace would metastasize. Soon enough, it would spread. Perhaps when the rich begin to suffer as much as the poor, the so called elite that call themselves our leaders and law makers would pay better attention.

I cry for Nigeria.
Same question I have been asking. How can a retired general not have firm grip of security situation as it pertains to boko haram and killer fulani herdsmen?
