barcanista: He's sad that he won't have all the privilege that he's currently enjoying by this time next year. Because he will be kicked out through popular vote Keep on dreaming. Buhari will be disqualified for non-possession of requisite academic qualification. We are ready for the dog and baboon to be soaked in blood. |

Andy41275: He can go back to the schools he attended and get another certificates. Pls he should not be disqualified for the sake of peace. You are talking peace to people who believe in violence to achieve their aim? If you don't want to be in perpetual bondage of the North, be prepared and match violence for violence. If we agree that Nigeria belongs to all of us, no group should make others inferior citizens; in fact, it is very painful to see the weak link (economically and academically) lording over the stronger links. |

omenka: Anyone who doesn't see the hand of Jonathan in all of this is indeed an ignoramus. I bet the flame has been doused in a way from SR's publication yesterday.
They understand the game is up and are using every means possible to maintain status quo. Whatever it was, I don't think the General has lost a single fan or supporter to the controversy. Matter of fact, the incident has strengthened people's resolve to fight on. Nigerians will resist the Killer Party at every turn this time.
Let them enjoy the two seconds the incident has given them under the spotlight. We know it is just a line in the sand and with a gentle breeze it will disappear. Jonathan has ruined the PDP and has done very terrible damage to the unity of this country, but I believe after Buhari is sworn in, one pill at a time, the healing process will be initiated and in a short time we would start seeing each other as we did pre-Jonathan.
We will conquer. God bless Our General. On the highlighted, your brain needs to be examined for correctness. Is GEJ hiding Buhari's original of academic certificate? For your information, it will be impossible for Buhari to contest this election without bringing forward his academic certificate because it is a constitutional requirement. Anyway sha, I hope PDP legal team is ready for the battle in court? No dulling o. Buhari cup don full. Many years for the thief, one year for the owner. |

Everybody should note that the Army does not keep anybody’s original certificate because it is the personal property of the owner. Such original certificates are only needed at the point of entry into the service. However, the Military only keeps photocopies of credentials of officers and soldiers in their personal files that are in the military secretary’s office.
This one that Buhari is scared of showing us his academic certificate, I hope Buhari did not borrow certificate to join the army. |

There is a big world of difference between the two. The constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria demands for ACADEMIC RECORDS only. |

chamboy: What is the major cause of Unemployment in Nigeria? Buhari just displayed it - false declaration of affidavit in place of certificates. Most of those unemployed are those who do not merit their certificates. They used sorting, bottom power, money power, godfatherism, favoritism, tribalism, quota system e.t.c to acquire certificates. They are only employable in government establishment because they lack the mental and intellectual aptitude to gain employment in private sector. I only pity the few unemployed graduates who worth their salt but whose chances have been blocked by some dunces because of the society. |

Etruth: . Buhari Attended : Government College , Katsina. Officers Cadet School, Aldershot, UK. War College, United States. ........Be guided. Buhari joined the Nigerian Army in 1962, when he attended the Nigerian Military Training College (in 1964 it was renamed the Nigerian Defence Academy, (NDA)) in Kaduna. From 1962-1963, he underwent Officer Cadets training at Mons Officer Cadet School in Aldershot in England, United Kingdom (Mons OCS was officially closed down in 1972). From November 1963- January 1964, Buhari attended the Platoon Commanders’ Course at the Nigerian Military College, Kaduna. In 1964, he facilitated his military training by attending the Mechanical Transport Officer’s Course at the Army Mechanical Transport School in Borden, United Kingdom. He also attended the Defense Services’ Staff College, Wellington, India, in 1973. From 1979 -1980, at the rank of colonel, Buhari attended the US Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, United States of America and gained a Masters Degree in Strategic Studies.. For you to think he rose to a Major-General without necessary education and qualifications mark you out as the ignorant one. Maybe you are the illiterate here. Stop talking what you are NOT knowledgeable about. Just ask senior retired officers or Buhari's contemporary and you will be enlightened. The summary is that quota system coupled with diplomatic student propelled Buhari to general. |

Whether they like it or not, Jonathan isn't getting a coronation on valentine's day like he did in Eagle's Square last year. I hate it when supposed "men" are always looking for ways to dodge contests. What glory is there in victory that wasn't fought for but handed on a silver plater?? He has dodged debates and elections in the past, he's not getting that this time. Are you threatening us for questioning Buhari's lack of certificate? Let me tell you my friend, nobody is afraid of violence any longer. Buhari can not do the wrong thing and we ignore because of violence. We are ready. |

The Military board is located in Abuja yet Buhari prefers to go to Abuja high court to swear to an affidavit instead of going to the board to collect his credentials. Does Buhari thinks Nigerians are dunce like him?
Note that Buhari was head of that military board in those days. Therefore, with a phone call to military board, Buhari can get the certificates. So, why is buhari afraid of presenting his certificates?
I demand General Buhari tender an unreserved apology to Nigeria and Nigerians for telling an open lie. |

Ngasky: When was the photocopy and computer application start playing role in civil service? It is in the 1980's. In the 1960's and 1970's theres nothing like photocopy machine. So everything has to be the original only. And that time for any federal appointment you have to submit your original not photocopies. Lots of certificates from individuals were lost in the records office of the federation. Let the military come out and discredit him and take him to court Haba my friend, think again about the bolded. Have you forgotten that there is something called carbon paper which was placed behind the original paper to produce a carbon copy(photocopy) while typing with the typewriter? Please stop defending the indefensible. Buhari is a liar. |
