You see what I have been saying? Churches and mosques have become the breeding ground for corruption. They are the reason Nigeria and Nigerians are corrupt because corruption is tolerated and practiced without any prick on the conscience. And they will blame govt for not fighting corruption. I weep for my generation.

Pastors/reverends/imams are the greatest obstacles to fighting corruption because they have embraced corrupt practices hence their followers have dead consciences toward evil deeds.

True man of God indeed. Has his preaching improved morality and godliness in the society? No. The society continues to depreciate in love of God and neighbours while his political and economic influence continues to soar. So, of what benefit is it to the society if pastor and his followers are havens of corruption?

Pastors/Reverends/imams remains the problem while Nigeria and Nigerians are corrupt. They have failed in their religious duties.

Which matter should be put to rest? For your information, any officer sent for training during Buhari's time was not scrutinized by the foreign country but automatically accepted and admitted. The student will also be given automatic pass because he is a diplomatic student. If you doubt this, lets request for Buhari's result from the school and you will be disappointed.

Leadership at all levels have failed us in Nigeria including the leadership of Tunde Bakare in his church. What does it benefit the society if Tunde Bakare is the only corruption-free person in his church? Tunde Bakare has politicians from his church who are in govt and are stealing our commonwealth too. That is to say, Tunde Bakare is a failed leader because he has not instilled morality and godliness in his followers. This applies to other men of God (Imams inclusive).

The problem of corruption in Nigeria is because our religious leaders have failed in their duties. How can people who no longer fear God be their brothers keeper?

Those shouting "GEJ govt is corrupt" should search themselves whether they are not corrupt in one way or the other. Everybody must repent to cleanse the society of evil deeds.

Both the church and the mosque are the breeding ground of corrupt politicians and corrupt citizens. If you doubt me find out whether all the corrupt politicians and citizen do not attend churches and mosques.

Our religious leaders are supposed to be the custodian of morality in the society but they have become very corrupt, so their followers. Nobody should blame Jonathan for failure of our religious leaders.

My issue with Nigerian pastors/priests/imams is that the harder they preach, the society gets more corrupt. To me, they are neither preaching the right teachings nor doing the right things hence their followers are corrupt.

The effect of religion is seen in the society. A corrupt society is a product of bad pastors/priests/imams.

Pastors/priests/imams are the cause of corruption in Nigeria.

130.

(1) There shall be for the Federation a President.
(2) The President shall be the Head of State, the Chief Executive of the Federation and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federation.

131. A person shall be qualified for election to the office of the President if -

(a) he is a citizen of Nigeria by birth;
(b) he has attained the age of forty years;

(c) he is a member of a political party and is sponsored by that political party; and

(d) he has been educated up to at least School Certificate level or its equivalent.


The part bolded didnt even require the person so contesting to SHOW any certificate...........it only states that the individual must have been educated up to a school cert level OR its EQUIVALENT

The Equivalent can be ........Certificate of Theological Seminary,School of Arabic Studies,Correspondence Course etc in as much as you can read and write and can converse in English

Moreso at a certain time,all you needed to enrol into the Military was to have attended a Secondary school especially amongst the Northerners as Most Southerners didnt consider the Military as being an Institution of repute
