Super Eagles striker, Emmanuel Emenike has denied the recent media report which went viral that he had converted to Islam. Emenike had missed his team’s breakfast on Saturday, and when his manager inquired the reason why, he responded by telling the coach he was fasting. Coincidentally the Muslim Ramadan is on. The former Spartak Moscow hitman expressed disappointment over the report. According to Emenike, ““I am Catholic, a strong one for that matter, and I come from Christian home. I don’t discriminate against anybody and I believe we are all equal in the presence of God, so what is the big deal in fasting?” He went on to say ““The report that I am now a Muslim is absolute rubbish and false. The All Progressives Congress, APC, has said, in the area of fighting insecurity, President Muhammadu Buhari has already surpassed former President Goodluck Jonathan’s achievements within three weeks. Alhaji Lai Mohammed, National Publicity Secretary of the APC, who disclosed this in a statement issued yesterday, maintained that President Buhari had done in three weeks, what Jonathan could not achieve in six years. The APC said, Buhari has invigorated the fight against Boko Haram by rallying a regional and global front against the terror group adding that Buhari had been able to restore Nigeria’s integrity and that many countries were beginning to respect Nigeria again. Mohammed stated that President Buhari was already doing better than Jonathan even though Buhari is far older than his predecessor. It stressed that the PDP had no moral right to criticise the APC within less than a month of Buhari’s administration since the PDP had failed to make any meaningful change in Nigeria since the past 16 years it had been in power. China now uses a six-propeller drone to fight against cheating in the country’s all-important college entrance exam. The drone is designed to scan for any unusual signals being sent to devices smuggled by students taking the annual test. Almost all Chinese high school graduates must take the test — more than 9 million students started it Sunday — and the scores are the key criterion for which tier of university they can enter. Pressure is usually immense and many students spend months cramming in order to pass the exams. Students caught cheating by the drone can be barred from taking the test for up to three years. However, the high stakes involved makes cheating common. https://thesummary.com.ng/media/k2/items/cache/f863e4fb1b47b206b2276d9b70a5b183_M.jpg PS: This article is a summarized version of the original news Source: http://thesummary.com.ng/index.php/world-news/item/1303-drone-used-to-scan-for-cheating-during-china-s-college-entrance-exam |
