The news we hear these days is that people flee. Flee is the next language in vogue now. |
Is the money still intact? If it is, when will they start using it and how ![]() |

Trouble In Abia As COVID 19 Index Cases Had Numerous Contacts With Health Workers |READ DETAILS NATIONAL NEWSABIA STATE NEWS By Afnews Editor On Apr 21, 2020 0 Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State Information gathered by AFNews reveals that Abia State may soon have a serious increases in the cases of Coronavirus or COVID 19 due to the handling of the two index cases. AFNews had earlier published that NCDC confirmed two COVID 19 cases yesterday in Abia State and we also gave insight into one of the cases. But on further investigation we discovered that Abia state may become the next hot spot if the virus is not properly contained and those who have had contacts with the index cases are not traced on time. We gathered that both COVID 19 cases were formally being managed at the ICU center of the Federal Medical center in Umuahia for the past one week before they were discovered to be COVID 19 positive. Both cases were not in an isolation room in FMC, instead they were in the open ICU center with other patients. During their period of management at FMC before the COVID 19 confirmation, they had contacts with numerous medical workers which includes Doctors and Nurses. But remember, that these nurses and doctors may have also had contacts with their family, friends or business associates. At the moment, one of the doctors that attended to the positives cases collapsed at FMC yesterday and died. We learnt that so many doctors tried resuscitating him, but failed including very senior consultants. So, if this said doctor had interaction or contact with the COVID cases and other doctors, nurses have also had contact with him while trying to resuscitated him, it means a lot of health workers in FMC should immediately go into isolation. Based on the above information, it has become very important that all Health Workers use the necessary PPEs while attending to any patient in hospitals today because the symptoms of COVID 19 is similar to Malaria and other common diseases. click here to read full detail: https://afnews.ng/just-in-trouble-in-abia-as-covid-19-index-cases-had-numerous-contacts-with-health-workers/ |
This is not a matter of cash out!!! There is something you have to know. A governor or politician does not announce an individual a carrier of Corona virus! The samples of the suspected person are collected and sent to the testing centre, where the result is ascertained and firstly relayed to the NCDC before it comes to the state Governor. So no state will just stay and say it wants to cash out without the NCDC confirming the case |
muhyeenisce:I have corrected it. Thanks so much |

Abia Records Two Corona Virus Cases Press Release COVID-19 Update: We have Two Confirmed Cases in Abia We have received the report of two confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Abia State this evening from NCDC. Both patients are advanced in age but currently stable at an isolation center in our state. On the direction of the Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, we have deployed our ventilators to the isolation center in readiness for their use if eventually required to nurse them back to good health. Our well trained medical personnel are offering all necessary support and we hope and pray the patients survive this ailment. Contact tracing has commenced in earnest and our rapid response team is currently moving to bring in those who may have had contact with the two index cases. Meanwhile, the result of “Prosper Vincent” returned negative and he will promptly be released from isolation. We wish to call on our people not to panic but continue to observe all the guidelines issued by NCDC and the state inter-ministerial committee on COVID-19: -Stay at home unless there is a compelling need to go out either to buy drugs or food. Do so with your face mask on - Wash your hands regularly with soap under running water for at least 20 seconds or use original hand sanitizers to clean them - Observe social distancing and also avoid crowds - Do not open any market to trade and, please, stop using public transport until further notice. Based on the age of the patients, we are looking at a possible community transmission and will strongly advice that all those who may have come in contact with the two individuals who hail from Ukwa and Umuahia North areas of the state immediately call 0700 2242 362. The Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, will be addressing the media tomorrow on this development in Abia. Thank you. Chief John Okiyi Kalu Honorable Commasioner for Information, Abia State 20/04/2020

I can confidently tell you people that it is one person that is burning all these places. Another place will still go on fire if he still did not get the particular evidence be wants to burn in this particular burning. There is a particular evidence that he is tracing to burn. Just as I said, the CBN is burnt down too |
Sorry sir, the lady was totally wrong. All she was saying is just a means of getting soft landing. Already, she knew there was lockdown which if seen outside, she already knew she was wrong. She was in mask as she, so why won't she stop and communicate with them? Why did she want to run away? Why did she not explain herself? As far as there is a lockdown or curfew, some fundamental human rights do not count. Had it been the police officer allowed her to pass, we will still come here and say the police does not know their duties or that he has even collected bribe. Let's call a spade, a spade, the lady was totally wrong. You don't have to compare this case with that of the US police because there was no crisis or curfew on the state. If there was a curfew, the way the suspect will be treated, u won't imagine it. sassysure: |
You see why I said the police are not really to be given 100% blames on all these shootings. You see how stupid this lady acted? Why on earth will she behave like that? With the excuse that they are not wearing masks. Imagine it? Nigerians!!! Let's reason rationally and sensibly |
I didn't say the stupid NScdc man is right, but let's also learn to be patient. Whoever that u meet on the road carrying gun might not be normal. Be patient don't allow Ur anger to put u into troubles. According to the report, u were arguing with someone with gun, the argument heated, not settled yet the man wanted to zoom off. Why not wait till the end so that both will reach to a compromise before he drove off. Let's learn to control our temper. But the driver and the sinful defense staff are mad |
ZesusHVWritter:No be normal thing others dey do? |
ZesusHVWritter:I don die for data. Pls I need the help too. I use more than 2gb on daily basis

I bought fuel yesterday at #145 per litre. Our government is just an audio government. You have not implemented the first noise you made and you are already saying another. In Aba, no filling station sells at the normal price. |
