Why choose one over the other when you can simply choose a mate that can support your fulfilling purpose? I guess that’s the lady’s message. None has to suffer if you pick the right mate. bentenny: |
Fristly, Chioma Chukwuka is single—separated or divorced. Secondly, what gives you the impression that a single mum cannot advise anyone if she is genuinely happy living her purpose? There are people that will get both right but there also some whom giving up their career would live to eternal regrets. No marriage can wipe that feeing in old age of not living your dream. Her advice is for those in a cross road— not to choose one over the other. Those who give up their dream always live to regret it. And her advice is to have fulfillment, to for someone who respects what you do. But if push comes to shove, choose your happiness. Cause regret is also detrimental. So why bash her if she is happy with her choices? Lastly, if someone truly meets her mate, you won’t have to choose between him and her career. He would instead make it a duty to make her happy knowing she finds fulfillment in her career. And according to her, you will always see the signs of a man who won’t be supportive of what you do. quote author=tunapawizzy post=135390626] I see some young ladies using this advice to console themselves-shouting good advice -U no collect advice from omotola jalade -U no collect advice from Omoni oboĺi -U no collect advice from mercy Johnson -u no collect advice from chioma chukwuka -u no collect advice from Dakore egbuson -U no collect advice from adesuwa etomi -U no collect advice from Linda ejiofor Na Tina Mba single mother of 2 advice dey enter your head. Like I am wondering how Nigerians are spewing all the hate against their fellow Nigerians. Seriously, has it gotten this bad? Aren’t we Nigerians? When did it get to this point? Lord, have mercy. The hatred in the land is real. quote author=Mabuggi88 post=135363347]Jesss what is really happening in this country.... I'm becoming afraid oo. Imagine what people are saying, my goodness. Divide this entity let's face ourselves and no know we aren't one .
|
When I was already celebrating the unity this thread was producing, you come with your tribalism. The Igbo young man being in Ifo is being trained by the yorubas, this is enough to have let you make a good comment, but NO! You had to make it about skull mining. No nation ever succeeds with this kind of negativity. Diversity is a good thing, but negativity isn’t. Let’s desist from such. Else, our politicians will keep using it to hold Nigeria and Nigerians bound. All tribes have the good, the bad and the ugly. When addressing an ill, tackle the evil and leave the tribe. Else you will be forced to keep defending evil from your tribe’s man after speaking up against the evil perpetrated by another man’s tribe. Always stand for truth and dissociate from ethnicity. Jeez…what kind of error is this?? Quoting scripture erroneously and feeling scripturally correct. What is the meaning of being a Christian is not for all Christians?? What do you mean by being born again is for the few who will inherit heaven as their permanent abode? What do you mean by God choosing a man to become a part of the system the person will know?? The Spirit will bear witness with the person’s breath ![]() What do you mean by …. Please, this is too much error, I beg you. I know you may love God but please, go back and embrace the tenets of the Christian faith. Please quote author=MaxInDHouse post=135320688] Being born again is not for all Christians but few who will inherit heaven as their permanent abode. Certainly the day God chooses any man to become part of that system such a man will know because the spirit will bear witness with the person's breath {Romans 8:16} that he or she has been chosen to rule with Christ in heaven. So while all other faithful servants of God inherit everlasting life on earth {Psalms 37:29; Matthew 5:5} the born again Christians will never become humans again after their earthly course they will become like angels in heaven {Matthew 5:3} with no gender difference! Luke 20:34-36
|
Atiku didn’t make the statement. Tinubu did. It is only natural to ask the one calling for something to start it. If Tinubu starts, then he has the moral justification to ask others to patronize Nigeria goods first. quote author=lamentor78 post=135269850] Good but, is Atiku himself driving Innoson
|
All the guys seem to be lambasting this lady’s outfit. Now, I’m left to wonder who are the enablers of ladies who dress like this? Because one only keep supplying when there is a demand. If there isn’t demand for what you are supplying, you will close shop. So the answer is simple: We have loads of hypocrites. Those who body shame ladies in public but storm their DMs begging for attention. This alone explains why indecent dressing thrives and will keep thriving. femi4: |
COVID-19 loan?? Interesting. Chilipepper: |
At least he has nuisance value. Which do you have? Who knows your name? Which relevance do you have ? You make light of someone who is making impact on the masses while you hide in oblivion. He has chosen to become a voice while you hide under your bed fearing police brutality. Please, don’t make light of his courage. If it were easy, you won’t be afraid of being a voice for the voiceless. When people talk down on those who are doing what they can’t do, they likely reason for it is envy. DIVINEEVIDENCE: |
The guy didn’t say it is the money from the NGO. He didn’t say so. He ain’t that daft. He knows he has to be accountable for that money. I don’t follow him much but I stumbled on a video where he said himself and his team are strategizing on how to ensure the NGO makes impact since the govt wants to do what he planned to do with schools. It is his good heart that made him do what he did. You are thinking he did it for influence because that’s how you are wired. He did it because he genuinely wanted to help. To be a blessing, you won’t see color, ethnicity or even country lines. So relax, the one naira you contributed to the NGO for Nigerian schools strictly is safe. Again, I don’t follow VDM, but I discern he is different. poopoo: |
Can you please keep quiet? Thank you. How many corrupt politicians have been detained even when there are proofs on ground? Where is Emefiele? Where is Yahaya Bello? Where are our politicians detained? Yeah! Why is Babangida, Tinubu, and Buhari working free? Name one person whom the EFCC has detained that isn’t about witch-hunting or an opposition to government. Suddenly, the authorities are doing their jobs. If you don’t know what victimization is, again, I say: Please, keep quiet. quote author=Misterone post=135257001]Oga! Stop calling Tinubu's name. Allow the security agencies to do their job. Just because VDM is a celebrity doesn't mean he can commit an offense. If puff daddy were in Nigeria this ones will not allow the authority to do their job.
|
Wow!!! This is so succinctly spoken. olatade: |
Seriously, it beats me. What does it take to be truthful? I seriously don’t understand how people are staking their necks for this government just because the president is from their tribe? Why is everything in Nigeria viewed from the eyes of tribalism? This is sad o! Truly sad! 1000angstroms: |
[You need help if you think everyone who speaks against this novice and corrupt government is Igbo. You truly need help—I tel you. Is VDM Igbo? All the youths know to do is speak English and engage in tribal war online. I hope soon we would be ready to take back our country by insisting on dialogue. Nokio2: |

Is it about being a nuisance or the fact that he is addressing key issues? Issues people have come to embrace as norm but are responsible for our failed state. Someone had to speak up eventually and only cowards will call the young man a nuisance. You don’t have to like him, but salute his courage. teeteepeejay: |
Is it about being a nuisance or the fact that he is addressing key issues?? teeteepeejay: |
The person you are thinking about in the opposition. Yeah! That person. Your conscience bears witness that he is the one being referred to. He is a true democrat and has proven so over and again. And no! I’m not Igbo. tunjijones: |
The Church is mourning? Which church, please?. The Church of Jesus Christ can’t be mourning, please. Christians die everyday. Does that mean the church is mourning? Or is this about hierarchy or the Catholic Church? Well, the Bible is clear that precious in the Lord’s sight the death of His saints (Psalm 116:15 (KJV)). So if the Pope is a child of God indeed, why should the Catholic Church be mourning? edogu: |
Akpabio didn’t sue Natasha inspite of all the allegations she made against him. Does that connote Akpabio is guilty? Simeonee111: |
You wrote that he has been accused. Yet your tone comes off like he is guilty of these charges. Image123: |
And people actually liked your dumb comment. This is how I know the redemption of Nigeria isn’t anywhere close. And by the way, I’m not Igbo. ShinjaWWest: |
Of course, there should. And I believe the world will get there. I watch ID channel a lot and I can tell you there was a time in these developed countries when getting justice took decades, because technology wasn’t this advanced. There were even murder cases that were closed due to lack of forensic or substantial evidence that were later revisited. Sometimes, decades later. I had to mention this because you had compared Nigeria to developed countries. My way of saying murder cases aren’t easy for judges to convict even when evidence is glaring. Some countries don’t even do death. Most states in the US don’t do death but they go for life imprisonment, instead— because it isn’t easy to convict someone to death. Judges are humans and often don’t want to be tainted with blood on their hands— I think. TallNigerian: |
If it took 3 years, then it was really fast. And please don’t just say in that country. It is worse off abroad. Theirs take way more years. Often, the justices want to ensure that no stone is left unturned. To sentence someone to death is not easy on any judge. Let no one tell you otherwise. TallNigerian: |
Oh…not to add to their truce with MTN when using their USSD code. For any translation initiated whether it is successful or fails, customers are billed N6.98k. Like even if there is a network issue from their end, you are billed. Once you type in a USSD code of your bank using an MTN line, N6.98k goes. Surely, MTN claims that is their transaction with banks and WemaBank didn’t dispute this when I contacted both MTN and Wembank customer service. The interesting part is that they don’t even send an SMS to your phone. It is one of those monies that just fly off. WemaBank is kind enough to send emails of N6.98k for these transactions. Others just ignore it. There was a time I was billed 14times. N6.98k and I was just getting emails to this effect. Initially I thought I it would be reversed, but when I called, I heard otherwise. Even when it is clearly the fault of my service provider, I am billed. That’s the Naija we live in. Impunity at its peak. TallNigerian: |
Coward!!!You’re the type that would run under the bed and leave your wife to go tend to the door when he hears a heavy bang. What am I even saying? Heavy bang is too much sef. You’re the type that will flee at the sight of cockroach or rat at home and ask his wife to tackle it. Yeah! By their fruits you shall know them. Now, tell me: How do you deal with social issues without tackling the system that creates it ![]() We aren’t ready to take our country back! Not with cowards behind the keyboard. ERockson: |
