Not sure the decade you served, but when I did my NYSC, the queue for meals were usually very very very very long. No kidding. quote author=Nazgul post=135177545]The video is false. They're lining up for something else. You should understand that most of us participated in NYSC. And you would never find this kind of crowd queuing for food let alone pap and akara when mammy market is there to serve your needs.
|
Please the spelling is queue, not cue. No ‘oversabi’ intended. Just a harmless correction. Thank you. davillian: |
Did you mention Emefiele and called it his estate? A public servant who is on a salary and not expected to do any other form of enterprise has an estate of that magnitude and you dare include his name as one who is being witch hunted? Jeez…we are indeed finished as a nation if all we see is tribalism. I’m not Yoruba and I’m not in support of any political party.I always represent the truth. If you applaud Emefiele for his fraud against Nigeria, then I believe that we truly deserve the leaders we have. quote author=kettykin post=135178765]God doesn’t shout—He whispers with precision. This is one of those moments: Move your wealth. Not tomorrow. Not next year. Now. Take a hard look—divest boldly, shift deliberately, and repatriate strategically back to the East. Because Lagos has a habit. And a certain tribe at the federal level has turned it into sport—the systematic liquidation of Igbo wealth. It’s never about law, justice, or national interest. It’s about power, fear, and envy. Just ask Landmark Beach—razed in broad daylight under the thin veil of development. No hearing. No humanity. Just bulldozers. Or Emefiele—whatever you think of him, his estate in Abuja didn’t grow wings. It was seized, swallowed by the same system that feeds on Igbo sweat. This isn't about politics. It’s about survival. Strategy. Sovereignty. God gives warnings with grace—but He doesn’t repeat Himself. please someone should tell the odogwus, E money , Obi cubana, Enviable, zenco, vintage etc to divest a substantial part of their wealth abroad
|
The election of 2023 was one that Nigerians United to vote in Peter Obi. Almost like the June 12 election of Moshood Abiola. People truly saw hope when they thought their votes will count. And without structure of any kind, Obi won Abuja—the only candidate to have gotten 25% by the way. This tells you something. If the East wanted to rig the elections, they would have done so in favor of APGA. So forget it! Peter Obi is a man called blessed. Xannadu: |
Like it is so pathetic to read. The way I was raised is to stand with and for my siblings no matter what. Everyone else is an intruder. So me reading how a guy will simply turn their back on their own sister who was slapped by a man who isn’t her husband baffles me. If you can’t stand up for your sibling, who would you stand up for? Even if that sibling is a real pain in the ass, family is family and you should team up against the world. That’s why you are a team. No matter the rift with your siblings, you should stand up for them no matter what. How can a man born of a woman slap your sister and you claim you would walk away and do nothing. Water must be running in people’s veins these days not blood. The same applies to your wife or husband being assaulted. He doesn’t have to be the best husband or wife in the world, but loyalty entails standing with them in the moment. You can always caution them afterward about having a naughty tongue. SmartyPants: |
😂😂😂😂 @But Henshaw didn’t close her quotes at end of the statement. And you started the spelling of a name “henshaw” with small letter. It should be Henshaw😂😂. When the ‘correcter” becomes the ‘corrected’. Let’s remain humble. arantess: |
Dear Opportunist, The way you said, “always go for a woman that brings something tangible to the table” is truly funny. On what authority do you advise people on what to always go for? Tomorrow when the lady you tell guys to go for tells him, I picked you from the gutters and made you who you are, hope you will be their shoulders? It isn’t the role of a woman to see your potential and open doors for you. If she does it, often times, it will come at a price— your headship as a husband. Stop looking for already-made ladies. Have a little dignity in yourself. You advise people to throw a lady that has invested her time and resource into the relationship calling it mere motivational talk. You need to check your integrity and loyalty. Clearly, it is in short supply. femi4: |
I have been to Togo a couple of times and I can see for a fact, that it doesn’t come close to Nigeria in anyway. Even with their money that is higher than the naira presently, the standard of living there is way lower. I can’t explain further. Nigeria will rise but please, we are still way ahead that most African countries despite our failed currency. easytig: |
Most countries have flagged Nigeria as a no go area due to insecurity. So when a governor is investing in tourism, the question is who are the tourists they plan to woo? No one just carries their bag and travel to a country without doing research. With all the insecurity plaguing Nigeria that’s in the news, any tourist planning to come is embarking on a suicide mission. You guys should invest in checkmating insecurity. When that is checked. You will naturally attract tourists. Some of the African countries that attract tourists aren’t half as endowed as Nigeria. This tells you that tourists seek serenity and exploration of our cultural diversity. We can’t be more developed than the countries we are copying structures from. Why would an American come to Nigeria because of world class structures when that’s what they have in their countries? Foreigners come to Africa not to admire beautiful or world class structures but to explore our cultural heritage— that’s what makes us unique. If we can sell what makes us unique as local as it may be, and have an atmosphere that’s conducive, tourism will flourish without drama. I wonder why our leaders don’t know this. quote author=AngelGabbyShara post=135074814] https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1BkRBBSVwM/
|
The Obidient movement isn’t about party, but the individual. People came to vote for the man, Peter Obi, not labor party. nairalandadeux: |
I don’t think some persons need correction. You know this by how they never retract the errors they preach even if they are corrected. If it is an error by the minister, you would know. But often, there is no remorse and they keep compounding falsehood to cover their flaws. Pride will never allow them retract. When you know this, correction is often a waste of time. You just go ahead and correct their errors lest they being disrepute to the body. Most ministers act like they know it all and my reservation is how their spiritual fathers never call them to order. jaxxy: |
Okay. Noted. What’s your point? Well, even though I am aware that school fees aren’t paid monthly, and I know that truly rich people don’t talk like this. Let me go with your flow What’s the idea behind coming online to brag about now much you pay for your daughter’s fees when you can clearly see how some people are screaming that they can barely eat? What joy does it give you to make others feel like you are better off? You clearly lack wisdom. It’s people like you that bring attacks to your poor wife and kids at home because your life’s worth is based on how others perceive you. Life is but a breath, sir. A man’s life doesn’t constitute of what he has. Stay humble. Even if you achieved what you have through hard work, encourage others not flaunt to them how much your daughter’s fees is. Completely unnecessary. Ewedegubbler: |
Seriously? N550,000 * 12 = N6.6m N6.6m * 6 years = N39,600,000m Are you saying a tokunbo vehicle costs at least N39,600,000m? Like I know people lie, but this your lie is so unintelligent. mightyhaze: |
Did you say Peter Obi got just 3 states or was that a typo? Please, go and check your records again. Thank you. tundegan: |
He released a song in Buhari’s regime. It probably didn’t go viral because it wasn’t banned. The title of the song was: “Jaga Jaga Reloaded” It was released in 2021. A sequel to his iconic 2004 protest anthem, this track renewed his critique of Nigeria’s leadership. It specifically called out Buhari’s administration, as well as other political figures like Festus Keyamo, accusing them of failing the nation. shadrach77: |

It’s sad who everything a lady does has to linked to biological clock. Really sad! DJ Cuppy isn’t even 33 yet. Why make it look like her devotion is because she feels her time has passed redemption in both marriage and conception.? Your thinking is very shallow. Please repent of it. Ladies save up their eggs these days and she can afford to and may have long done that. Not everyone is so desperate about marriage or having kids when they haven’t met the one. Stop making comments that push young ladies into desperation and then come back in turn to laugh at how ladies have lost value for themselves. DJ Cuppy will get married in His time and to someone who would encourage her in this new path. So thankful she wasn’t married before she found purpose. AngelicDamsel: |
He won’t just be a governor o. He will be a monarch. He will see the state as his entitlement. So his hold on the state is forever. Scandium: |
The fear of trouble is why Nigeria is being run by puppets. Please, if you are spineless, don’t talk down on those with spine. Regards. helinues: |
Hmmm…okay. How many do you know in this naton that have been called to answer for their past misdemeanors? How many? So why wonder when there’s so much impunity in the land? Why there’s a clear lack of conscience? malali: |
They know the bid is dead on arrival. They just want to make the news. So that if they win the bid, they’ll make it part of their campaign for re-election in 2031. Bunch of clowns. SmartPolician: |
One would think that with all the way Nigerian banks defraud Nigerians they would be amongst the top in the world not just Africa. Shame! AmazingGenius: |
I think the caption is wrong. He didn't ban him from entering th state but from being hosted in any public facility that hadn't gotten the clearance from the Bayelsa state government to be used. quote author=Reptyle post=134751328] Lol. How do you ban a legal citizen of Nigeria from any state? Is that even legal? A cabinet minister? Or are we happy with this pronouncement since it's against a man that we love to hate?
|
True. But I think the MC went too far by saying Senator Remi Tinubu is the only mother they know. Whatever that meant that as simply preposterous. Why would I disown my mother in a moment because of nursing kit to hype a woman who doesn't know I exist? That’s flattery taken too far. Regards. quote author=Bmaster post=134748324]I'm speechless! When Mama does something wrong, she can be corrected, but still technically anyone that have a child of your Age is your mama. We should not transfer the accumulated aggressions caused by the president BOLA TINUBU'S Administrations' frustrations on the wife
|

You are correct. However, before they learn to catch fish, they have to still eat fish; else they may die from hunger before they finish learning to catch fish. An hungry man may not even pay attention to the training on how to catch fish. Not because he doesn't want to, but because an hungry man cannot concentrate. My way of saying, they both have their place. Xammie001: |
There are lots of schools of ministries that doesn't charge at all. People give freely. If God had called the ministry to bear, then He can handle its running. We shouldnt justify merchandise. The Bible says buy the truth and sell it not. Most of us don't serve any longer. We are now learned the art of merchandising everything we offer even in God’s house. There were schools of ministry long before this generation of preachers and they existed without charging money. The goal was to see Christ glorified. Today, people pay to be thought the Bible so they can also go and replicate same. Everything service to God has to be freewill. If Jesus called you to undertake anything indeed, He will prove it by running its costs. That is ministry. That is service to God and He pays you for your service. Koinonia School of Ministry (KSOM) powered by Apostle Joshua Selman charges 10k as per last year. and the people who attend that school aren't just Nigerians. Plus, getting into it is competitive due to constraints in space and it runs for almost 9months. Now, let me state: The international and local students there aren't served less by paying N10k as registration fee for 9 long months or more.( I think it runs from Febraury to September) Bishop David Oyedepo has never earned one naira from all the books he has written. He claimathag God gave him the knowledge for free and doesn't see why he should earn money from it. His books are sold and the money are committed to other things but not for him. I had to point this out because you talked about cost of running a school of ministry. I don't know if by chraging he sleeps well at night or not, but I do know what making merchandise of the gospel looks like. ComeToJesus: |
You are myopic. Very myopic. Now before you think I am Igbo. I am not and don't have any aspiration to be one. But I do know that the igbos have voted enmasse for some Yorubas. Obasanjo is one. They didn't vote APGA. They voted a Yoruba man. When they finally voted one of their own whom they believed would deliver, you say they did something wrong. Like how dare they vote for their own? They shouldn't aspire to be president. They only deserve to support the Yorubas, Hausas or South-South. How many times have we had the Northerner and Yoruba in power? We have even had a South South in power and all these people were supported by Igbos. That they showed solidarity for Peter Obi, who is one of their own as against Tinubu, you Yorubas have refused to recover. Interestingly, most South South states voted Peter Obi. Lagos voted Peter Obi. Abuja voted Peter Obi. Yet you have projects ongoing in these states. But your myopic mind don't seem to think the South East also deserves to be treated fairly It's sad when people think with their anuses and refuse to grow beyond tribal sentiments. Keep applauding evil. What goes around always comes around. Just so you know. I'm proudly Nigerian. JAMO84: |
Yeah! Coming from a weakling that you are. I have learned from experience that those who emphasize that if you are not strong are weaklings themselves. You try to write tough to give a different narrative of who you are. People like you are the ones that are beaten by their wives and won't cough. "If you are not strong carry your emotions and sentiments away" my foot. JASONjnr: |
Even when it is unconstitutional? Okay. You know one thing about impunity? It often graduates to something more. Tinubu has set a precedence as one with no regard for the rule of law, long after he has gone, we shouldn't cry foul when others comes and take over from where he stopped. Keep enabling him. Posterity will judge us all. Salewa97: |
