Don’t always assume everyone is like you. Don’t! If you can’t discern when someone is sincere. How can anyone help you? It is your lot who didnt think Peter Obi could be different. There are still good people in the land. Just know this. Don’t judge others from your experiences or who you are. Even if he is eating people’s money, at least we saw clearly a project he carried out. If our politicians will do with our money more than they eat our money, we would make progress as a nation. Regards, sir. WowSweetGuy: |

How do people come to a conclusion like this over other people’s lives? It beats me, really. Just so you know: Lecturing job isn’t something you leave for something else. Nothing stops him from lecturing still in theatre acts department—he is most probably going to be an asset with his accomplishments in Nollywood. Reminds me of someone who shared that he encountered him in Herbert Wigwe’s University. popp: |
Don’t mind their analyisis. People forming that they are wiser than the Person who created sex and prescribed that it should be in marriage. Most of the issues we have in relationahips today stem from disobeying God’s instruction to abstain before marriage. A couple who knows nothing about sex have nothing to worry about 2 minutes man or sexual compatibility. They accept themselves the way they are and learn the process. The way some people prioritise sex these days is just appalling. Ladies in the olden days married as virgins and God helps you if the bed sheet you consummate your marriage on doesn't come out with blood stains This way, ladies stayed chaste and marriages were fine. No issue of sexual compatibility or 1-mimute man. Today with all the advocacy of sexual compatibility and testing the product before marriage, more marriages are in disarray. We can't be wiser than the manufacturer. Anointedvirgin: |
You could have taken the pain to read at least two lines of the writeup before making a comment because clearly you only ran with the headline. And I think it isn't good to run theough making conclusion from superficial assumptions. veekid: |
Exactly, my thoughts. The writeup sounds like something that was written on her behalf. dominique: |
I believe it is your perception. Are you saying the shouldn't cover news of public interest when it happens in Anambra? You sound as though you could hide news that are negative to make Anambra look otherwise. Evil is evil matter the region it is committed. Is the news a lie? If it happens, why should you be pained that the spotlight is raised in a region? So how much emphasis is placed in a state where evil is uncovered doesn't matter. edlion57: |
I totally agree with you. Yet, should having s3x be for those who want to burn steam? The manufacturer's original intent for s3x is in the confines of a marital relationship. How a man knows he has no intent of marrying a lady and puts her in the family way and then start spewing irresponsibility. Oh! He should be ashamed for lacking self-control. Of course, the lady isn't exempt. Why open your legs for a man who hasn't married you? The whole mess we are in is simply as a result of indiscipline and I pray God help us reset our approach to the life He has given us. No one has a right to be thinking S3x with a woman that isn't his wife and vice versa. We simply complicate the lives of children born through our indiscipline. Every man knows a woman he has a future with. All this crap of she has a terrible attitude which is why you can't marry her after she is pregnant for you The question is didn't you see the attitude before you laid with her? Bunch of irresponsibility on both parties who want to eat their cake and have it. . SafetyFirst: |
And in your opinion the way to tackle her misdemeanor is to beat her black and blue? Like seriously? If your daughter comes back home to you with a story like this and you learned that she was beaten because she wore a singlet to take her wards to school, you would celebrate your son-in-law for it? Your initiative is pathetic. In essence throw away the baby and the bath water. You beat a woman who you are physically stronger than because of a garment she wore you don't like?? What happened to the boxing ring? Isn't that where those with physical prowess go? But no, you'd rather settle for a lady's job and churn out your frustration with life on your wife. Those who fight in the boxing ring do not have enough energy left to fight outside of it. True. She is your wife and you don't like the outfit she is wearing because it doesn't reflect well on you, but is battery the way to tackle it?? Isn't this action insecurity laced from ego or would you call this love ![]() Someone beats the mother of his kids like a common criminal and you are saying she got what she deserved. The truth is this: You can't love anyone like yourself and hurt them because they don't do your bidding. That is witchcraft. If she won't do your bidding because you need a puppet and you are tired, take her back to the home you married her from and ask for your bride price. You have no right to lay your hands on any one's child. No right! If she were Otedola's daughter, would you lay a finger on her? Suddenly you would learn self-control because of the reality of serving jail term-- This tells me that I should be big so future son in-laws can have sense by default. That a human would even mention that she got what she deserved informs ladies to be wary because there are lots of beasts parading as humans. Oh yeah! You clearly aren't human. But would the ladies listen? A lady will see a guy make a pathetic comment like this and still go ahead and marry him to avoid being called an evening newspaper. You need some growing up-- I tell you. Amumaigwe: |
You tamed them because you needed robots as wives. Your arrogance stinks. You are such a weak individual. It's sad that you can't even see it? This is why you don't know you need help. I feel so sorry for you and your narcissistic tendencies. Deep within, you know your life isn't working. You try to intimidate people to submission using all manner of tactics because somehow people must bow to your ideologies. That isn't life. That you brag about employing that with people who you should be most vulnerable with clearly shows how pathetic your life is. A very sad life you have there, sir. I don't know you, but I know you aren't a happy person. Even God respects our individuality. He enjoys watching us be us. He doesn't assert or try to make us humble by force. So He said come let us reason together. That's how you know those with true strength. They aren't intimidated by others stubbornness or show them pepper so they submit. Submission is won by excellent leadership and those who have mastered leadership don't speak like you do. Again, you need help-- and fast. quote author=obiekunie01 post=133853240] I MEET YOUR TYPE I TAME THAT YOUR NONSENSE GENDER EQUALITY AND TURN YOU TO A FULL TIME HOUSE WIFE WITHIN MONTHS! you are not even up to any of my two wives in stubbornness! now they are all very humble and respectful wives happily enjoying the riches and peace of their husband. Anyways i will definitely not meet your type cause i don't do hookup girls.
|
You are such a weakling. Your comment stinks of it. Jeez ..and a woman said, "I do" to you?. There's nothing glamorous about your mindset. It is appalling. You talk about respect like you know what it entails. You clearly don't. Well, it's the ladies that gives you this guta I feel sorry for. You don't realize it yet: but you need help. Serious help! And yeah! All those who liked your chauvinistic comment also need to have their minds examined. obiekunie01: |
Chaiii…your hatred for him had got to be deep to make an assertion like this. The first time I heard that PO was exceptionally good was from Anambraians. Of course, when he was governor, I knew he won an award sometime as best governor but didn't take that seriously. If he was such a terrible person like you claim, he wouldn't have cleared up the votes in all of the South Eastern states against all opposing voices from other wannabes from the South East. I can tell you for free, you don’t win a people that massively unless they loved you, indeed. Tinubu lost Lagos state to him; in spite of your claims that he was the best governor in Lagos’s history. So think I again before you spew stuff. And by the way, I ain't from the South East or a politician. I stand for truth. richmond500: |
Nice! Not sure how this would work, but I long to see someone being sued for defamation actually pay the money demanded. Suing for defamation was a thing in 2024. Not sure any ever went through, or maybe it did and I missed it. Pastor Jeremiah vs VDM—any updates? SAN Falana vs VDM—-any updates? Plus, we don't see any public apologies from those being sued and we don't hear what became of the case. It often dies a natural death—I guess. Let’s use suing for defamation less so when. We do, it can really have impact. Kanu given audience on this is most unlikely and I’m sure even him knows it. So what’s the point? If those who aren't in government net don't succeed with their defamation cases, what chance has someone who is a government prisoner? Nigeria will get to that place someday when defamation cases are a thing. We just aren't there yet. TimeManager: |
I don't get our politics in this country. Does being the flagbearer of an opposition party during a presidential election automatically make you the governor of the state you hail from or the “president” of your geopolitical zone? Cause why should Obi’s commiseration with the bereaved’s family or social media condemnation of the act count as gold when the state has a governor? Kulis: |
Oh...that's where he was nailed. As long as he participated not just dish out orders, he gets a first degree murder charge. dapsoneh: |
No need to insult anyone. In saner climes, as long as you didn't pull the trigger, you can't be sentenced to death. It isn't viewed as first degree murder. Only that can earn a death sentence and in states where death sentence is abolished, a life imprisonment without the possibility of parole. Anyone can claim that someone sent them to commit murder This isn't to say the hotelier isn't culpable but to spell out, perhaps, a lapse on judgment. BlocksNG: |
You're right! They'll only recognize male and female. But they didn't ban gay marriages. Bob-brisky is a male by birth and that's what is recognized. So Bob could choose to marry any man/woman whether they are biological male/female really makes no difference. The US isn't frowning at gay marriages at the moment G0Oodharddick: |
Yeah! And he typically didn't ban gay marriages or dealings. The US would still say them as a couple even though they recognize them as male-male or female-female. So, yeah! He could marry a gay in the US and be out of the law's grip. quote author=dettolgel post=133833673] Trump didn't say you can't change your gender. He only said he can't recognized more than 2 genders.
|
I will never understand why anyone would root for Iran— a nation who carries out unprovoked attacks. It is well o! WriterNig: |
You have no proof of this. It is his words against theirs. So what if he lied that he wasn't told the details? You now paint people who are innocent bad because they tried to save their daughter's life? What if the table was reversed and you read this comment of yours made by someone against you? EmperorCaesar: |
True. You didn't trivialize it. But the way you coined your question didn't exactly do justice to whatever your "noble" intention is. sounded like you Offpoint1: |
Isn't this statement insensitive? People with Sickle Cell Anaemia aren't on death penalty. Let's be more cautious with our utterances. And yes, even those with HIV aren't on death penalty--if well managed and it doesn't degenerate to AIDS. You sound like those with HIV and Sickle cell are paying for some sin they committed, but this isn't exactly the case. seanery: |
How does seeking to gosn admission into University stop anything. Baron Trump just gained admission into school, so is not like he is a university grad. Late Apple Founder, Steve Jobs was a high school droput. So I don't see how your excuse helps your case. B3sty: |
If this is true. Then, it is truly sad. What What did I just read? Clear daylight robbery of a people that claim to have an active youth population. This is a lot of guts! But if you did this findings, then well done for fact checking. Some of us don't bother to fact-check what is dished us because we are negligent or simply gullible-- myself inclusive. Our role should be to hold government accountable not just cry foul. Championing and insisting on Due diligence. But ethnic bigotry, religious sentiments and party affiliations won't let us see and do the needful even when we are hit by the excesses of a failed system. Others have resort to simply complaining on social media with no deliberate measure on how to curb the madness that is plaguing our nation. DatNiggaDaz: |
It’s sad how some people lie under the guise of “researches have shown”, assuming no one will fact-check them. Let me burst your bubbles: There's no definitive research that universally states women are more heartless than men. In fact, studies on emotional expression and empathy often suggest that women tend to be more empathetic and emotionally expressive, though this can vary widely among individuals. However, perceptions of being "heartless" can be influenced by societal expectations, cultural norms, and personal experiences. The idea that women are inherently more "heartless" or selfish in their decisions is more of a stereotype than a universally supported fact. People's capacity for empathy, compassion, or selfishness is influenced by a complex mix of personality, upbringing, life experiences, and individual values, rather than being strictly tied to gender. In psychological research, empathy and compassion are often studied, and while women tend to score higher on average in empathy-related traits, this doesn't mean all women are always empathetic, nor does it mean men are always less so. When it comes to decision-making, both men and women can act selfishly or altruistically depending on the context, personal stakes, and moral framework guiding their actions. It's important to avoid overgeneralizing based on gender, as human behavior is nuanced and cannot be boiled down to simple stereotypes. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC5110041/?utm_source=chatgpt.com https://edition.cnn.com/2022/12/26/health/empathy-women-men/index.html?utm_source=chatgpt.com, https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-023-47747-9?utm_source=chatgpt.com (That’s me fact-checking your statement—it doesn't exist.) I agree with him on this one. I’m not an APC compatriot, and I do know things aren't going well in our land, but negative remarks about our country doesn’t affect those at the helm of affairs, it afffects you. The comments you make, go viral and you are perceived as being from a country that is dying. So they deny you entrant to their country. The people you think you are hurting by your “truthful” comments are hardly affected by it. They don't queue up for visas. They don't apply for international jobs, etc. You are still the worse hit by all your negative comments about your country on social media. Help ain’t coming from Donald Trump because you are crying foul. Instead, the more you cry foul, the more they perceive you as a liability to them. I stumbled on a thread from 2019, and noticed that this crying by Nigerians about hardship didn't start today. People have been crying poverty since forever and nothing has changed except make more borders close their doors against us. All we seem to specialize in is cry ‘ojoro’ on social media like a helpless baby, but are we truly helpless? Who made us helpless? Isn't this out country? What can we do to ensure we have an election where our votes count in 2027? What can we do to ensure Nigeria works aside crying foul? Well, like he said, we may be corrupt, oh! Yes, we are a corrupt people, but other countries don’t have saints ruling, they aren't just blowing their trumpet about it. I don't celebrate the “madness” in the seat of power or their damnable policies, but I do know that we still are the worse hit of our rants. President Tinubu will still get a presidential visit to any country he is invited to. So what’s the point of crying foul when it is only comes back to haunt you? quote author=Islie post=133807788] https://dailytrust.com/its-unpatriotic-to-say-may-nigeria-not-happen-to-you-taiwo-oyedele/#google_vignette
|
I don’t get you guys on this platform. I thought you all would celebrate her for staying through despite being physically abused? Most of you speak so poorly of Nigerian ladies like every lady out there are the cause of your woos. She stays in the physically-abusive relationship, you say she has low self esteem. She leaves, you call her evening newspaper that nobody wants. Your lot and your insensitive comments are the reason ladies would rather die in an abusive relationship than walk away. Keep dishing out insensitive comments. —— My apologies if you haven’t been raining fire and brimstone on Nigerian ladies, this comment is directed to all who do. Remember you have sisters who are vituous. Daughters maybe now or in the future that will be full-fledged Nigerian. Your painting Nigerian ladies as people with no worth because of your wrong choices will hit her too, someday. Keep placing all Nigerian ladies as oloshos. What goes around comes around. EmperorCaesar: |
I don’t get. Is Peter Obi the governor of Anambra state or the President of Ndigbo? quote author=yarimo post=133805759]In anambra state and Peter OBI is yet to react or condole with the family, but quick to condole fire tanker incident in far away Niger state.
|
Great advice, here. You could have gone ahead to also tell them the kind of investments they should embrace that works so they don’t jump from pot to fire. That would make your advise solid-proof. When advice isn’t comprehensive enough, it could cause more harm than good. Not all investments are worth it. ibechris: |
A biter, petty soul you say? Well, righteousness can only make sense with justice. Sometimes, we say things but don’t even understand its import. What was your reaction when you saw the gospel Artist who beheaded his girlfriend? Now, assuming the girl he beheaded was your acquaintance or relative? Would you ask the judge to forgive the gospel artist? That God is love only makes sense with effecting justice. Even the devil will call God a liar if those who do treacherous things are allowed to go unpunished. And to avert that, He told Christ to die and called those who wanted to escape death to embrace His salvation. The blood shed on the cross wasn’t a comedy show. The wages of sin is death and Adam brought that death on mankind through disobedience. The consequences was clearly spelled out to him, but he went ahead nevertheless because of greed. The devil was already being judged for treachery and wanted God to condemn His creation— the creation He bragged about and prided in which was why he deceived him in the garden. God who said He has esteemed His word above His name needed to prove that His word meant something. So man had to live with the consequences of his sin because God’s throne is seated in righteousness and justice. Because He is love, He provided a way of escape, such that those who embrace Christ can avoid the doom that Adam already purchased for mankind—-willfully. So if you head off to hell because you refuse salvation, the problem isn’t God. God didn’t design hell for man initially but for the angels who left their first estate. So the chance to escape hell is still available. Salvation is God’s way of saving man from the consequences of the sin brought upon us by our forefather—Adam. Calling God bitter for making hell clearly shows you are misinformed. I’ll urge that you don’t wait till the end of your age to find out if hell is real or not. It will be too late. You lose nothing by accepting Christ as Lord and personal savior. Shalom. danvon: |
