The question is why is Wike giving the updates of the happenings in Rivers State? You think it is ideal? He shouldn't be insulted hastily because he loves his people so much and is determined to use Federal might to show he deserves to be worshipped. That you are supporting this gross wckedness is pathetic. Fubara may not have shown capacity like you mentioned, but how many other states do you see an ex-governor making the state ungovernable? People like you is why Nigeria will never rise against oppression. It is a real shame. quote author=chipet67 post=134345172] Your emotions have taken over. The fact that none of his LG chairmen could have the courage to speak after the court ruling should tell you they are been held by the jugular. Even the information commissioner didn't sound impressive and he ended his speech with "let us think and come up with the next step." Don't clap fubara out of office. Don't be hasty to insult Wike. Sim himself has not shown capacity.
|
There is a reason why sexual advances is frowned against in a workplace. Particularly, between a superior and their subordinate. It could be used as a tool of manipulation to get favors and blinden reasoning. So it is big issue to make sexual advances at your colleagues in most organizations. It could lead to sack or demotion when found to be true. yemmit90: |
It may not be a lie. Remember that these people according to Akpabio’s wife have been close even before she got married. And I perceive Akpabio is the playful type so there may be no cause of alarm. My concern though is this: If they have been family friends even before Natasha got married, and he didn't make advances at her until December 18th when she is already married, then something is fishy. He had access to her as a single mum and didn't make any move. Why wait for when she is now married? In her interview, she said, Akpabio mentioned that now that she is a senator he would make time out for them to have quality moments together. Now that she is a senator… what was happening before she became a senator? Some things aren't adding up. Almost seem like relationship gone sour. Why would a decent woman wonder if her husband heard Akpabio flirting with her? Who was she protecting? Herself or her hubby? Even when he asked her several times why didn't she mention it to he hubby? What was the plan behind hiding the flirtatious SP? Even when she claiming the man told her to make her happy in his office, she didn't tell her husband the details? Why? Why was Akpabio so bold to flirt with Natasha even when he relates well with her husband? Why wasn't he scared that she would tell her husband? Seems like he got something on her. gassbee: |
Whats the point of the point in a Nigerian forum? To make gullible and unpatriotic Nigerians compare SA prisons to that of Nigeria? You are a hypocrite. You post on a Nigeria forum that gives you viewership and your intent is xenophobic. When you do this, it only goes to show discerning Nigerians how desperately you are trying to make SA look appealing. Why try so hard if there’s nothing to hide? We are Nigerians and are proud of our heritage. We built and are building our country. We own Nigeria. It isn't a white man’s investment. So, Rest, sir. Stop trying so hard. Take a leaf from your compatriot @samantha. RandDigital: |
And if what she says is true It should be swept under carpet because it is a non-issue, right? Ladies who have turned down flirtatious men can easily understand her plight. Often, it comes with hostility from them. Maybe bruised ego. I am not saying she is saying the truth but I am not dismissing her stance either. The drama that has ensuring e between them clearly shows there is no smoke without fire. Are they the only ones in the Senate? Wallade: |
She shouldn't wear sunglasses because she wants to serve in tn senate?? Seriously She should stopped being stylish because it affects how she sees things and contributes to proceedings![]() How we are carried away by the minor. 11doubledee: |
Who cares what men wants? Save the epistle for your wife. I’m sure Natasha knows what her hubby wants. That's all that counts. Thankfully, she is married; else your lot would have claimed her “drama” is why she isn't. Natasha represents her people at the senate. Hence, your mysogynist epistle about what men wants is irrelevant. Like the senate president with an obvious mouth diarrhea, Natasha deserves to be heard inspite of her “drama” Gender is irrelevant. Like Akpabio, she was duly elected to serve. Men don't need to like her “drama”. Her people do. And in my opinion, that's all that counts. casualobserver: |
What is your definition of waste her youthful years? That she didn't live worldly? The same you will come here and call all ladies oloshos. You find someone who didn't live an “olosho-ish” life even till 65, and you still balme her for being virtuous. She didn't tell you sbe is regretting not having kids of her own. What’s the guarantee she would have had kids even if she got married? Our worth is not in marriage or even kids. She found that. Her marriage came when the Lord thought it was a need. She had everything she wanted. Our completeness is in Christ.. oluwaseyi0: |
Since you are trying to explain terms, let me state here that homosexuals CANNOT be part of the Church. They shouldn't even be a part of a church assembly. The Church are those who have been washed by yhe blood of the lamb and whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life. Homosexuals who don't see anything wrong in there sexuality, have no place at redemption. It isn’t about judging them. It is what God’s word states. You must think the Church assembly is a hospital for sinners but you wrong. It is meant to be a dressing room for saints. The ideology of allowing all and sundry into the Church assembly is why Christianity seem to have lost its potence. I have heard of a scenario of a homosexual who was part of the worker body in a church and made advances at a friend of mine—-this is how some person’s get lured into sinful acts right in the Church. Notice the in the time of the apostles, the Church was only made up of those who had accepted Christ. When Annanias and Sapphira tried to infiltrate it, the Spirit of God immediately addressed their hypocrisy and rid the Church assembly of them. Why do we have so much worldliness inside the Church? It isn't because the Church is in the world because the Church welcomed the Church into her midst. We were supposed to come out of worldliness and be separate. Today, someone will boldly say: I am a Christian and I’m gay. What a contradiction. The sin of immorality is very contagious and that's why we are asked to flee from it. Don't engage it. Don’t keep the spirit close. It would corrupt your thoughts subtly and you will fall into the acts before you know it. So please, homosexuals and homosexuality have no place in the Church or church assembly—- but it they come into a church assembly, it isn't written on their faces that they are gay. But if they have to introduce themselves as one, it isn't love they need, it is deliverance. If they aren't ready to submit to deliverance, it is only a matter of time before the spirit takes over the congregation. Like the OP right said, it is a spirit. We don't love on demonic spirits, we can't them out. This lacadaisaical approach to sinful acts is why Christianity seem to be losing impact in the name of love. Love has judgment and justice entangled in it. Gays go to Islamic nations and have sense. Then, they come to church and feel at ease and give demands. No! This isn't correct. quote author=SeraphicWind post=134235567] Hello Sir, I don't think I am spreading a false narrative. I have seen churches in Nigeria send homosexuals away especially the protestant churches. You can even search online. You may see pastor doing this. As recent as last year, there was a great hullabaloo when the Catholic Pope mandated catholic priests to bless homosexuals. What can you say about this?
|
The Church may not be the problem, but has she succeeded in her role in being the solution? We exist to be the light in the midst of darkness, which is why Jesus said, let your light not only shine but so shine that men may see your good works—-your solution to the world’s problem and glorify your Father who is in heaven. In your opinion, @OP, do you think the Church is fulfilling the reason for which she exists? Most of the criticisms the Church gets would you say it is unjustified? We were called to live in a way that is free of blame, but is that how we live? When a things deviates from its purpose, abuse is the result. Instead of justifying the bashings we receive from the world, we should see it as a call to “so shine”. When we become light indeed even the world won’t have a basis to continual bash us santaclaws: |
Why do we turn pathetic situations that can occur in any state a tribal issue? What joy or satisfaction do we derive from it? This isn't helping us as a nation. Just so you know: I’m neither Igbo nor Yoruba. But turning every thread into a tribal war is uncalled for. Youths should engage intellectually not sentimentality. TheChameleon: |
You don't know the father of her child. She didn't tell you she doesn't know who impregnated her. So calling her child a bastard is uncalled for. She doesn't owe you the details of her life. It is her prerogative. Not all men wants to be in the media space. And she may have employed the services of a sperm donor. In the end, it is her life and her decision. You on the other hand, should stop being a busy body in other people’s affairs. Regina Daniels is fine with polygamy. She on tbe other hand isn't. S Fuckyoumod: |
Well, it would make no diference to her. The same fate awaited her if she had married a Nigerian. Nigerian men are only generous to foreigners because of what they want from them. Afolue: |

You call a man that you aren't half as accomplished as a "mumu"?, A man way older than you are a "mumu"? In what way did he offend you directly? The message you are quoting was from his sermon to his congregants. You don't need to believe in his message or like him as a person, but to call him derogatory names is uncalled for in all regard. This goes to show how poorly brought up you are. Bishop Oyedepo isn't the problem of Nigeria. Go deal with your frustration NOETHNICITY: |
If Nigerians can recollect the people you are talking about and their atrocities, it means they didn't forget like you mentioned. They simply moved on. Yeah! Call to forgive if you like, but not forget. franchasofficia: |
Please, go and rest. Please. Nigerians aren't the ones driving low self esteem, in this case, our leaders are. It wasn't like the embassy didn't give visas to some of them. The issue is because they didn't see a need to give all of them visas for the event they were headed for. It is news because the chief of Defense staff was one of those denied. The country you are headed for know that the event being used by the entourage to jettison into Canada wasn't solid enough. Instead of hiding our heads in shame for the reckless way we spend taxpayers money, they are writing epistle. Nigerians will defend Nigeria when it is a good cause— we saw that play out during Chidimma Adetshina saga. These guys are the ones with low self esteem where a whole Minister of Defense would leave his duty post for an irrelevant event. The Canadian Embassy deserves our thanks. They simply told our defense chief to go cater to more pressing needs in our security as a nation and let other less high ranking officers attend the Canadian event. That was what the denial aimed to achieve. Since we don't know how to set priorities as a nation, why make news when those who do redirect our focus? quote author=allthingsgood post=134149586] I don't know what is wrong with Nigerians brain. How did we develop this devastatingly low sense of self worth. Always excited that your country is dragged in the mud. I just don't get it
|
That’s how low we have become. When you see those liking his comments, it tells every one why we aren't safe in this world. How can a young man conceive thoughts of sleeping with another man’s wife and not think anything is wrong with it? @OP, where’s your conscience? Not sure, though, why a married woman would approach her ex for financial assistance. Sounds like she wants something more than financial assistance by consistently asking for over 6-months. Common sense should tell her it is a wrong move. Indeed, both the OP and the lady need redemption.. In my opinion, no virtuous woman would approach a man for money without her husband’s consent—let alone her ex sin partner. DelilahMakinde: |
When your daughters and sisters are told what you just blurted out about wives having no place in their husband’s lives, I hope you won’t cry foul? Some of you speak and think with your “anuses”. Your mum should be on top of the list. The same mum that her husband don’t believe has a place in his life should make the top of the list for her kids ![]() Your confused mindset about marriage is why the marriage institution seem ho have lost its essence. Kids spewing thrash about what they know nothing about. Babies in men’s skin. Mumny’s boys that have refused to grow up and learn about what and who a woman is. Your arrangement is why your daughters wont have a home because their husbands will place no value on them. Keep talking from your anus! If you aren't confused, I would wonder what confusion is. quote author=Yungmil post=134128317] Wrong arrangement. Where does your mum fall into? Ur mum should even be top on that list. If you are in Abuja, the vaccine is gotten in the Ministry of Health for N2500 at most. N2000 for the vaccine and issuance of the card and Remita will charge you N500 for the transaction. You are given the vaccine, then you wait to collect the card. Simple process and you can be sure you have the original card. In the saner claim you claim we run to, it is often well deserved with their works speaking for them. that’s the difference. quote author=anonimi post=134113318] What is the problem with her age and being a state lawmaker? Do you have a database of older people ALONE being in similar positions in developed countries where we are running to? Also, what is the problem with politicians having their children inherit their profession. Don't we have that in other professions? Don't we have that in other saner clime countries? Instead of wailing and cursing hopelessly, why not get to work on different aspects of the political and governance processes to have your own visions and worldviews dominate the conversations that translate into policies and government actions?
|
Great advice, man. Great one. And I say may this be the lot of your daughters, sisters and every woman you hold dear. May their husbands kick them out at the slightest provocation. Kindly say an Amen. People spill thrash because they don’t see beyond themselves. Benwallt: |

Interesting! I haven’t watched the video but your response here is a handful. So because a lecturer asked you delete a video you captured him in so she chose to retaliate and you said it was a good call? Like am I reading this or just hallucinating? A student and a lecturer having a physical tissle where she beat him up because she was provoked and someone here calls it a good cause. May God help this generation else we are doomed. There is such a thing as restraint. If she was attacked by a man with powerful muscle will she put up such an affront or exercise self control? Nothing stopped her from afterward going to meet the lecturer and explain that she felt assaulted by his action that is wisdom, but to retaliate on your lecturer in a school environment isn’t smart. Doing videos in school even though you call it public domain is unethical. Very unethical. Precisely because it is a personal video stuff. That is not what the school environment is for. This may end up causing phones to be banned. Reasons why schools like Covenant University doesn’t allow the use of phones. Some of us abuse privileges and this is an example of it. There was a way she could have erred her grievance. EmeeNaka: |
For a port that was not bringing in N1 but costing the government to keep it in form, 20% stakes is a lot. The gains far outweighs the costs. This will open up Cross River state. For a start, it isn’t a bad deal. And do you think the governor hasn’t done due diligence and made consultations? Some of you are interesting. With 20% the state can achieve a whole lot. Stop looking at the 80% UAE is taking . They are the ones taking the risk of a dead port to bring it to life. Dadiye: |
So what do you propose? Since a proposition about learning a skill seems unreasonable. Propose something to him. Some people make it seem like there is a short cut to success.it is said that if education is expensive try ignorance. No one who invests in a skill does so because they had the money stashed up. How much is skill acquisition that you figure is too expensive to invest in? Even if he can’t start the crypto or data science as proposed, there are other skills that he could start with. As little as learning video editing or even graphics design very well can make all the difference. I don’t think it would require breaking a bank to learn these skills. Goodplace: |
A bundle of contradiction your statement is, I tell you. How do you place “true love” in a list, then go ahead and claim that if your hubby doesn’t provide you with money and sex, you will look elsewhere? Wait! Are the things listed meant to be from your hubby alone? Well, when you marry, you marry your partner’s excesses as well as his strengths. There is a such a thing as working on a marriage. True God orchestrated marriage, but no good marriage is made in heaven. Every enviable marriage are made on earth by two people who put in the work by embracing knowledge, wisdom, and understanding of the subject matter as instructed by God’s holy book. Every one good in bed learned the act. They weren’t born in heaven with expertise. So why should you cheat on your hubby because of this? Understanding entails you both learn the act together—since you are a maniac who chose to marry. Every one who has money built from somewhere, if money matters so much to you, then why marry the poor man in the first place to contemplate cheating? If you aim to cheat because your hubby no longer has money, that is bizarre to say the least—but people do all sorts. Truth is, putting true love in your list is just off. Cause you can’t marry for true love and have issues with the other two things you listed. Albeit, if you expect only your hubby to provide all three while you are the recipient. That is already a dead marriage working. It is frustrating to keep giving and not receiving. It is killing to keep trying to make improvements and not receive encouragement to be better. So I’ll pity your “hubby” because he will be a frustrated man. Because even the Bible is clear on this: Can two walk together unless they agree? Agreement should be on spiritual, mental, and physical level. So talk it out with your fiancé and consider if you want to proceed before saying, I do. Alternatively, if you are in a marital commitment already and feel it isn’t working, instead of cheating on your spouse by getting it elsewhere, please ask for a divorce. But to cheat on a man who truly loves you because he no longer can provide or not a champion in a bed is a decision that will breed shame. Regards. Jennyclay: |
I would never understand how people spew obscene things in a public forum. Being dignified isn't expensive-- I promise. You and the lots that liked your comments need help. How you sexualize women is so pathetic. A woman is more than sex. Please, grow up! Anyways, you are referring to the ladies who would stoop to co-habit with guys. You and them are birds of a feather. Nice! The post claims Edo and Delta states were carved out from the Bendel state in 1991. But failed to state when Bendel state was created? That is a very serious lapse in my opinion. To reduce the great Benin Kingdom to being birthed in 1991 because there is no mention of when it was created. Anyone learning history can be misled by this error. Sometimes, it is better not to even school people than do and make a grave error. Great100000: |
Your intent is good, but the context is so anti-God Almighty. If you truly think God brought Corona Virus into the world as a means to humble the world powers, you gats go embrace some real political power tussle underplays by world powers. It wasn’t called Chinese Virus for nothing. A virus that was prepared in the lab was created by God? Oh! Please, stop it already. Did the Corona Virus not kill Christians who believed in God? So what’s your point, really? Corona Virus had nothing to do with God just as the disappearance of the Airplane(which hasn’t been proven as legit news, by the way) has nothing to do with Him. Have you heard of using the name of the Lord in vain? Seems like what you are doing. God doesn’t tempt with evil. I beg you, please. He is Almighty. He doesn’t need to prove it to anyone. You reject or embrace Him, the consequences of your choice is irrevocable. God has nothing to lose, so why prove anything? Besides, Trump has honored only God before he stepped into power so why would God want to humble him? In a bid to sound religious, sometimes, we end up ridiculing the faith we hold dear. Please, desist! kerry57: |
