Yet when you consider the pressure these women who cannot conceive go through from family, in-laws, society, religious organization and even media, will you blame them? AllenSpencer: |
He is actually saying rubbish. If you took the pain to go through his posts and the assertions he made, you wont argue with our deductions. That you write exams that licenses you to practice does not in any way translate to Nigerian results being invalid in the West. That's a silly assertion and sillier that he is being corrected and he is still bent on his ignorance. And if you are appaluding his ignorance after clearly reading the title in this thread and how his assertions parallels it, then I am lost for words. E2000: |
There’s nothing shameful in what Arise did. They simply tackled already trending videos under Ojy Okpe’s segment. They didn’t come Up with the headline. The media is there to ensure accountability from government— to put them on their toes. What they did is why this explanation was made; else power may be abused. Obakoolex: |
You mentioned that Papa Oyedepo doesn't preach about salvation? I don't agree with you. To get saved isn't anyone's responsibility but that of the Holy Spirit who convicts the sinners So inviting people to be part of the church assembly is a way to get them to keep hearing the word while we trust God for their day of salvation. Papa Oyedepo never ends any message without addressing those who are unsaved and giving them an opportunity to embrace Christ so they can be beneficiaries of His promise. Continually preaching about hell or heaven isn't what gets people saved either. Sometimes, they do so out of fear and fall right back into the world under pressure. People who embrace salvation because they love God are bound to stay rooted and grounded in Him. If your burden is to preach Christ in the light you see Him, please go right ahead and do so. No one has the exclusive reserve to preach Christ. Only Christ carries the whole burden of the world on His shoulders. Everyone one of us bear a part of His burden. Believers are to go into the world and preach the gospel. So every one believer has the right to peach the gospel. So instead of comparing ministers who are occupying their office and doing their bid, I urge you to embrace your call for they are horne from our burdens. Inviting people to church is a strategy by the Church to ensure that they keep reaching out to the unsaved. The chances for conversion is higher than a one off meeting jesusjnr2020: |
What an advice to give to someone. You shouldn't pass out your experience as a law anyone should live by. Being unfriendly towards people doesn't pay anyone. Drawing boundaries is key to fostering healthy relationships. You never can tell when he would need help from his ‘poor” neighbors in the ‘poor’ environment. If it was a rich environment, his neighbors would be his friends, I presume. Life is a gift.Use it judiciously and make impact. Thquote author=BigDickProblems post=133282733] As a freelancer, look for a cheap area, get a cheap Solar installation that can be charged also with Nepa, and that can run your laptop for long hours and power your fan, gadgets and other low energy appliances. Be careful of your neighbors too (since it’s a poor environment), they are not your friends, don’t form any familiarity with them (only good morning, afternoon and good evening) and just mind your business. Cheaper food and all that are some of. the advantages.
|
I often don't check out people's profile when they comment, but I had to check yours. I'm in awe that this comment emanated from a man. It's indeed refreshing that there are still men who emphasize facts over sentiments. Your comment nailed this thread. Thank you, sir tete7000: |
Messages like these are why people enter into marriage out of pressure-- they see the signs but still rush in because they have to fulfil societal demands. Aren't there children from young parents that have deformed children? So it has to be attributed to age. Ladies have become desperate with these messages breaking people's homes and settling for baby mama out of fear. Some when they have kids, they head off for divorce so making men primarily sperm donors. You all should just stop with all these messages and let people live their lives. You have all done more harm than good. Marriages isn't primarily about children but you all have made it so. So a woman dash into it despite her unhappiness. Then, you are the same people who will come with headlines than ladies are oloshos when she cheats on the man because she isn't happy in the marriage. It's truly sad. Life is lived once. Allow people live and trust God to perfect everything in His time. Lonestar124: |
I don't think there has been anyone who said sex is our major problem. Or maybe I missed it, you could share a link where Africans-- particularly Nigerians have been quoted to say sex is their major problem. But I do agree with you that it is a problem. Not sure of the "major" part. Shalom. kennyz247: |
Exactly! How can a pastor be living like Christ indeed and have a wife that won't submit to him? AntiChristian: |
Decades ago, back in boarding school, I saw God fight for me in a way that left me amazed. I didn’t pray for it. I didn’t expect it. But it taught me a lesson I’ve carried ever since. Our school had six dormitories, each filled with the energy of students and the occasional dose of trouble. One day, a senior sent me to deliver a message in another dorm. As I turned to leave after delivering the message, I heard someone speak, loud and sharp. “And she calls herself a Christian? Heartless!” The words cut deep. As I walked out, other students hissed at me. Their faces showed nothing but disgust. I froze, completely confused. What had I done? Then, a senior came up to me, her face hard with anger. “Pray you don’t fall into my trap,” she said coldly. “You won’t like what happens if you do.” I left in tears, baffled. I couldn’t understand why they hated me. I’d always been careful, always tried to do what was right. I loved God openly and acted in Christian plays. And so, I was worried that I had put the faith I professed into disrepute. For months, the tension didn’t ease. Some seniors made life harder for me—longer chores, harsher punishments. I endured it quietly, crying when it got too much. Then one day, everything changed. There was chaos in one of the dorms. I went over to see what was happening and saw a day student, someone I had brought to the dorm on a number of occasions, at the center of it all. She was being accused of theft. I couldn’t just watch. I stepped in, defending her. “She’s not like that,” I said firmly. “This must be a mistake.” That’s when the unexpected happened. A senior, the same one who’d once called me heartless, pulled me aside. To my shock, she apologized. “We were wrong about you,” she said. “Let me explain.” The truth was jaw-dropping. The girl I had just defended, my supposed friend, had been running errands for them in exchange for small favors. To gain their sympathy, she told them her mum had passed away and that her stepmother was wicked, often depriving her of food. Moved by her story, the boarders had even started contributing money to support her. But things didn’t add up for long. They soon discovered that the injuries she had claimed were from her stepmother were actually sustained when she was caught stealing and beaten. Her lies began to crumble. Over time, they also noticed money and belongings going missing. When they set a trap, they caught her stealing marked money. That’s when the web of deceit completely unraveled. I disclosed that I knew her mum personally and that she was alive and well. I also explained that I had never left the dormitory to report her to anyone because I hadn’t even known she was running errands for them. It all came together. I remembered my own missing money and belongings and realized she had fooled me too. When I confronted her, the lies fully collapsed. She had fabricated everything to cover her tracks, but God brought out the truth in His time. That day, as I walked back to my dorm, I felt overwhelmed by God’s faithfulness. I didn’t have to fight for myself—He did it for me. He cleared my name in a way I could never have done on my own. The lesson was clear: no matter what others say or do, the truth will always come out. If you’re facing false accusations or unjust treatment today, hold on. God sees you. He knows the truth. Trust Him. He will vindicate you at the perfect time.

You are a joke. A huge joke. Jeez, you are the definition of annoying. I’m not Igbo but the way you yorubas are acting here is so upsetting. Isn’t the president subject to the constitution? You guys are endorsing dictatorship because you are trying to prove you have a Yoruba president? Hope when the cock you guys are breeding comes to roost, you won’t cry foul. You guys are sowing dictatorship, a walk over the rule of law or can’t you read? The president is overturning a ruling of the court and you are saying why is Falana speaking? Is the judiciary subject to the executive? You Yorubas are just a shame. See how the Obidients tackle Obi at every excess. We all should hold government accountable. That’s what we are to do, not not be plain dumb. of quote author=Salewa97 post=132929636]Falana is just being petty. Why is he always trying to undermine the authority of the president?
|
"When you marry a woman who cannot deliver naturally?" I wish I understood this statement. Are there women who choose not to deliver naturally? Isn't it circumstances that makes CS an option? Of course, aside from those woman who are woke and just want it. Your statement is so insensitive. nwirinedu: |
What an insensitive comment to make. You go to church but your statement doesn’t reflect it. The number one tenet of the Christian faith is love and your statement is far from reflective of it. We should be weeping that people are leaving the faith for our lack of reflection of Christ. Is this really the Church Christ died for? Sincerely, analyze it. Alliswell248: |
Kindly stop spewing thrash. Are you saying that you only have a right to comment on someone's demeanor if he hails from your state of origin, not place of residence? How sensible does that sound to you? You shouldn't be on this platform then, as you are licensed to only speak on Rivers State issues-- if you have ever commented on happenings in other state or of individuals not from your state of origin, it goes to show you are a hypocrite. Did you ever have an opinion on Trump and Kamala? Did you just skip post on it and didn't comment? Are you an American? Do you even live in America? Please, stop being myopic. Every one has a right to an opinion and playing the indigene card is childish to say the least. Tackle issues. That way you'll come off as intelligent. Now, let me emphasize: We are Nigerians and have a right to make contributions to any matter of interest. Shalom. Do Kreesxxx: |
Interesting! Yet they voted for him enmasse. The same Obi won Mr Tinubu in Lagos, Abuja and Iragbjii—-Tinubu’s hometown. PulaPower: |
You have sense. Don’t let guys with little or no clue on how to treat a lady ruin your values. I like the fact that you understand respect. Keep at it. I also like that you stood up for your friend. Disrespect is disrespect, it doesn’t matter who is receiving it. How do you tell someone who isn’t staying in your apartment to clean it up because she came visiting her friend? If she were to be Otedola’s daughter, would he have asked her to sweep? That’s the angle I access respect from. He didn’t disrespect the lady. He disrespected you and No! You didn’t overreact. Undilutedme: |
Of all the tasks on it? Promoting s3x tapes is how you survive? Those who partake and those who promote are stakeholders. Please, eternity is ahead. Consider your ways. Efab555: |
Interesting! She blasts the ‘oyinbo’ man she met at the bank over what exactly? The message isn’t complete and only racists would applaud the lady when they have no knowledge of what prompted the exchange. ! chi900: |
Oh…yeah! And you are his advocate? I hope he compensates you for standing up for him. Mr Eye Service. KosiGee: |
Please, leave the Bible out of your foolish response. Constructive criticism you say? You clearly don’t know the meaning of the word. I hate when Christians go about constituting nuisance. How dare you look at the ‘dilapidated’ state of the economy and challenge the opposition for speaking up? It is clear that you are insensitive. Do you need a government to be in power for two years to know where they are headed? If this is the case with your dealings , you just confirmed your folly. When you run a business, ensure you have the same mercy you are advocating for your employees that are running your business dry. Aren’t there KPI’s to measure growth annually? Or you just choose to spew foolishness? blacknp: |
“At the end my friend asked her to return the money to his travel agent somehow she found that suggestion annoying. She angrily told him to send his own account so she can refund that she is no longer interested in SEEING ME” —- That last word gave you away. It should have been, “seeing him”. You could consider editing it. My advice to you is simple: Stay faithful to your wife. It may be hard, but discipline is what it entails. Self control will save your life. Veetee: |
Did Trump hide his agenda from inception? No. Yet even some democrats voted for him. I know this because most of those who voted for Biden in the last elections voted Trump instead of Harris. My way of saying he isn’t demarketing the Republican Party by fighting LGBT. Truth remains that they are a minority, but the mainstream media makes it looks like the whole world has embraced the ‘woke’ virus. author=femi4 post=132830857]Baba is doing this cos he's not coming back but he's de-marketing republican candidate for lgbtq community in 2029
|
Content creators aren't just acting na. They are producers. He is saying those who just act. YoungBTCxchange: |
These guys you mentioned are producers not just actors DiamondsAreFore: |
It isn't a 'minor' thing. The conversation as inappropriate to have with a 14 year old-- and he knew her age. Let's stop making things that are resounding trivial. And you are ea guest in another man's country, wisdom should tell you to be even more circumspect. Sammy101111: |
The same Tim Waltz the democrats are blaming as a possible cause for Kamala’s failure or is there another one? You didn’t see his ‘exploits’ in California? Hushpuppy20: |

This is one of the verses that is interpreted wrongly. When the Bible mentioned Jerusalem, it wasn’t literal. It meant Jerusalem. The real Jerusalem, not Nigeria. We need to learn to study the scriptures in context. Freetech: |

Jeez…in this age and clime? How do you speak like this? Do you have any idea what some kids feel that they have to share their parents? Please, don’t be an ignoramus. This is why some parents deliberately prepare their kids to receive the baby they are pregnant with. ravensckar: |
