Christianity EtcRe: Hajj Stampede: “he Stoned Them Back To Death” – Nigerian Transgender Blames God by janefrancisca(f): 7:58pm On Oct 02, 2015
Continue to blame God because that is what we always do. A building falls, people blame God. Plane crashes, they blame God. A chronic chain smoker dies of throat cancer and people will still blame God. They tend to forget that sometimes we are the architects of our misfortunes. They have not paused to think that maybe the building was not built with standard materials or the engine of the plane needed some replacement or that smoking puts one at the risk of dying young. For once people should look inward and stop pointing fingers.
EducationRe: Nigeria's 5 Best Universities For Postgraduate Studies; Their Costs & Duration by janefrancisca(f): 4:41pm On Oct 02, 2015
Op remove UNIZIK from that list because they waste time a lot. Not all the lecturers are enthusiastic to lecture, some don't even have an in-depth knowledge of the courses they lecture. Even when you finally write exams, it will take them donkey years to mark the scripts and release the results. I wrote one of my 1st semester exam around September 2013 and up till now the result is not yet out. Worse is they will waste your time and still expect one to pay for all those years before graduating. My friend who started her Msc in Computer Engineering that has just 3 semesters since 2012 is still struggling with course work. They are fast with their undergraduate programmes but for post graduate programmes, even a snail is faster.

EVILFOREST:
That's nice..
There are LADIES I can't marry especially when considering their occupation.

Even when they assume MARY, these occupations predisposes them to such rubbish.
And considering how weak they are, they will always succumb.

Examples :
HOTEL staff of any category....... .. . NEVER
BANKER... ......... .. NEVER
Highlife MUSICIAN....... .... .. NEVER
ACTRESS............. .... ... NEVER
BORN AGAIN prostitute. .... .... NEVER.
BAR tender....... .. NEVER.
CLUB/PARTY event planner.... ... NEVER
? SECRETARY to one big oga.

Thank God, just LEAVE her and move on.
Don't EVER LOVE WOMEN.
Because they change rapidly with changing circumstances.
The BEST U can do to a woman as a man is to show CARE...... .. That's all.
Oga keep that your occupation list one place o. A weak woman is a weak woman irrespective of her occupation. That a lady works in a hotel is not and should not be an excuse for her to sleep with all the male customers lodging in the hotel. It is either she has always been a loose person or she sleeps with them for money. Give her '' an occupation" other than the ones you listed will not stop her from sleeping around.

There was never a time anybody said it is part of the culture of Africans. It's just something people do because it is trendy and fun. You get to take some funny pictures of you and your partner before saying those words " I Do".

Babes na wa 4 u o. It is easy to say because you are not the woman in question. Its possible that if u find yourself in such situation, you may even do worse. The issue here is not about what the baby did to the woman. The man should have told her from the onset that he has a child out of wedlock and he is bringing the child home because the mother can't take care of him/her (though that's a flimsy excuse anyway). At least the shock and betrayal would have waned down a little..instead of suprising her like that. She reacted the way 99% of women would have reacted.

Believe some classical ladies admire skillful men lik carpenters, mechanics n so others. They most at time gets contracts. That am a landlord of 3 bedroom flat n a plot of land today ws bcs I learnt mason work a year after my SSCE at my 21 I strtd my project thuo my parent neva supported my choice. Same work tht took me through my ND in Fedpoly wen I lost my sponsor in death 2 months befor my admission. I ws a king to every student around then bcs I hardly runs out of cash. lol i get ur point, but some dil tend to abuse the priveleges calling their mil witches,,,, other mil also try to control their dil.., thats why it should be 50-50
hahaha..yeah its true. Some MIL can be overbearing sometimes, one in my street she had to take over the cooking in the house simply because the DIL didn't know how to prepare some local dishes instead of teaching her. Am not saying DIL don't have their faults too. The key in their relationship should be understanding.

dont u think the mother in law and daugher in law should both have equal ownership of the son/husband?
Of course not, it should be 75-25. Yeah, you are his mother but then he is an adult who is starting a family and not a baby.. so to an extent he needs his space. The MIL should have 25 while the DIL should have 75 because she is starting a family with her husband and she needs all the care, love, support and attention she can get from her husband. There can't be 2 captains in a boat unless it will capsize, one has to give way for the other.

I agree with all but number 10....about not expecting life to be fair...and the last one maybe
I expect life to be fair....all the time
It is a nice expectation to have........and life may(will) just well turn out that way
......especially for someone who lets others break hugs, and who relishes little pleasures dont you think?

Cheers
There is a difference between expectations and reality. You expect life to be fair but in reality it is not fair. You wrote jamb and post utme, passed very well but at the end of the day you were not given admission because those who had the money and people have collected all the name slots. Finally you gained admission and graduated expecting to get a good job only to be thrown a blow by the reality in Nigeria= No jobs and even if there is, it is based on Connection and not Merit. Finally, you get a job and after some years, you are due for promotion but your papers have not even been reviewed while those with less qualification and experience are been promoted. Finally you had enough money to start a family, so you married a wife and both of you were expectant of having kids running around the house. 10 years into the marriage no cry of a baby while as papa bomboy who is just a bricklayer and cannot afford 3 square meals per day just welcomed his 8th child with his wife. And so the cycle continues. So please don't expect life to be fair at all times because it is really not fair. You will only end up jinxing yourself .

Relax, that OP is a parody, as in he's just here to spice up the forum with those kinda posts.

If you're not in the "class" of girls the OP is talking about, or you so much despise then you're curious about em... grin Otherwise you have no business reading these posts.
Spice up the forum at the detriment of who? Nigerian girls in populace. This is a public forum and to an extent what people post here has an effect of the thoughts and mindset of the next person reading it. I was curious cos am a Nigerian girl so i wanted to know the 10 things we are ''supposed'' to have done.
