This is what surprises me the most. Nigerians like to pretend that they are all morale and holy but the truth is the reverse. If you people were such high on morals and values than why does the biggest number of african prostitutes come from Nigeria? who says Ghana's standard of education is higher than Nigeria's? How many prestigious universities do they have? Unighana, Knust and Capecoast only, Naija has Unibadan,Unilorin,Unilag,A.B.U,O.A.U,U.N.N,Uniben etc, these are all standard universities, the earlier we start appreciating our own,the better,for us, those travelling to Ghana were likely frustrated by Jamb, so they seeked for other options.

I agree with what the op is saying. My father is a business man en route ghana to nigeria for 30 years now. So when me and my bro talked to him about going to Ghana to further our education. He vehemently refused, his exact words were "over his dead body will any of us go to school there or do we want to turn out to be hooligans, sex addict and drop-outs. He also said almost every young girl in Ghana has a kid/kids without being married and that though the standard of education is high over there compared to ours, he will prefer us to read a 4 years course for 6 years in Nigeria than going to school there. For him to have said all these, his eyes must have seen a lot.

Hmmm, except there is another definition of loving. If a mother is so loving and free with her kids, i see no reason why they won't open up to her. I remember vividly when i was just 11 years old, one of my dad's "boyboy" came into the room where i was sleeping alone cos my siblings were watching a horror movie and i was so scared so i had to go in to sleep. He woke me up and told me precisely that "lets do that thing some men and women used to do on tv" and i was like i dunno what you mean. His reply was " i want to put my thing inside your thing. There and then i told him that if he doesn't get out of the room, that am going to shout. He begged me not to shout and left the room. The next morning i told my elder sister and even reported to my parents the next morning. He was asked to leave the house. What am i trying to say, from when kids are little, let them understand the fact that they are not suppose to allow anybody touch their body especially their private parts and if such happen they should report immediately. The idea of he threatened to kill me is sometimes a hoax and the little child still returning to the man even after several rapes leaves room for one to say is either she is enjoying it or she is dumb.

I will give you an example with myself. In the hostel where i stay sometimes when i cook i like giving to people, mostly the male folks especially those that maybe in one or two occasions has asked me for food. Also am the kind that if a guy begs me to cook for him maybe for reasons such as he is not feeling fine or he doesn't know how to cook that particular meal, i will cook for that person without minding the age difference or the fact that am a post-graduate student. Now me as a person doesn't see it as anything cos i lived with my brother during my undergraduate days and i was the mother of the house with all his friends then. Now the immature guys in the lodge are saying thrash about how easy i am because i cook for people in the lodge and since am free and social, that means i will be easy to get . Can you imagine such thinking. Anyways, they started coming one after the other even the undergraduate students too . What am i trying to say, they misunderstood my easy going attitude as a green light for them to come and toast na . So sometimes, the actions you perceive as green light may not really be green light. But me am against the one of not letting go even when you are not into the guy. You can't eat your cake and have it na. And about liking a guy and overacting that you don't, you won't blame them.
