I won't argue with u...more cars more riders...
You will be stupid to argue with facts.
Ist more cars does not translate to more riders. The number of cars has nothing to do with people who are using Uber.
If the total monies spent by riders in a week is 100 million and you have x or 1000 drivers the average drivers can make is 100k. so if some make 150k others will definitely make less than 100k. if all of them make 150k then the monies they make is from runs not from riders.

Abi you are into Uberplusplus?

Hello guys,

I am a newbie on this uber business, I find the rates very bad, like Victoria Island to Ejigbo for N1,300 after being in traffic for like 45 minutes with the Air conditioning on throughout the journey on top of that uber takes like NGN300 from the trip, don't forget you have spent like 2hrs 30 minutes for this ride.
How are you guys able to make money? Trips from Ikeja to Ojodu Berger is NGN600 and uber still takes like NGN200.
I am not understanding this business, can someone break it down for me?
2hrs 30mins alone on Uber is 150minXN11=N1650. after 25% your get N1237.50 on time taken alone. so your N1300 is a lie

I don't drive anymore... Its just for others to learn...I have stop driving since October last year...
Good mrni
the truth is no matter how smart drivers are all drivers can not make 150k per week
The number of cars are increasing perday
Drivers are not making money from a bottomless pit
Drivers are making money from trips taken by riders.
Drivers make money from monies spent by riders

UBER OR TAXIFY which one is the best to drive on?
UBER- 200+60/KM+11/MIN plus 1.2 to 1.8 boost at certain locations and time. UBER has more riders, fantastic app and others, 25% deduction on every trip...
TAXIFY-300+65/KM+9/MIN no boost but little incentives depending on the number of trips completed, taxify has fewer riders, app comes with a lot of issues...taxify is only good on weekends, u can wait for one hour at certain locations without request 15%
deduction on every trip...
AM A DRIVER ON BOTH PLATFORMS(UBER/TAXIFY)
IF I DRIVE ON UBER I WILL MAKE 100K TO 150K IN A WEEK, IF I DRIVE ON TAXIFY I WILL MAKE THE SAME RANGE
after all this boosting.... you are just a driver who can only drive one car at a go or can you drive 2 cars at a time?

not mistake ooo. it is just the usual naija corruption. this is how a custom officer explained it to me. ever since government banned cars from entering the country through the land border, smugglers still bring in cars. now this is where it gets interesting, lets say a smuggler brings in a 2010 toyota camry through the land border, he simply contacts his custom insider at the long room, sort him some cash, i dont know how much. what they do is to substitute some one else's details of the same make of car that has paid complete duty and came in through the port. to get around this, as soon as you clear your car from the port, get a confirmation print out before you leave the port to avoid stories. may God save us in this country.
Wow... so it's not possible to create a new profile for cotonou cars. Why can they Just create a new profile for the car and present it as if it was imported through Lagos.

Please don't sell your car, use only the money you can afford to lose.

Before 2008 economy melt down, some sold off their four story building, some their estate, in order to buy share.
I know of one man who uses his property worth about 2 hundred million, with influence of his banker friend manipulated and borrowed 4 hundred million from the bank, within a shot period of time, the law of diminishing return set in, which brought about economy melt down in 2008. The share worth of what he bought with that 4 hundred million, was not up to 80 million naira, the man developed high blood pressure and died.

Because, bank came after him, when he fail to pay them as agreed, bank seized all his property, which
was not up to what he owes them, thereafter, his debt keep on increasing, due to debt service charge.

But has it been that he uses the money he can afford to lose, by now he will had recovered.

If one uses the investors mindset to approach the market, whether bull or bear, he or she will not check, because he/she will be on the safer side . Even when you borrow to invest, make sure you have other source to pay bank, should in case the investment goes bad.
There wont be bull if everybody is using monies they can afford to lose

Do not account for NEPA . . . while doing your audit; to avoid stories that touch,

If grid power comes along the way, that's a plus . . if it fails; you won't be affected.

You need solar charge controller, solar panels, solar panel mounting kit (if necessary), cables, and DC breakers.

Assuming you only discharge your batteries to 50% everynight;
you would be consuming just about 2.4KwH
And you need at least 800Watts of panel power to recharge the battery back
in about 4 hours sunlight . . .
I mentioned 800 Watts because it would be downplayed to about 600W x 4 hrs= 2.4kwH . .

Thats just the basics . . if you wish to power some loads during the day; therefore you would need to add more panels;
depending on power requirement.
Thank you

Putting the cart before the house. Do a simple energy audit. How many appliance do you intend to power and for how long. This would allow you have a good estimate of your daily power consumption which will in turn make it clear how much energy you need generate from solar to keep your batteries in the green. My advise is to trim your consumption to about 960WH which is about 40% depth of discharge. Then get at least 4 250w solar panels. Design your system to run heavy loads like fridge/freezers only during day and leave night loads for lights, fans and TV. That way you can keep your nightly discharge lite and not have to worry about draining your batteries or filling them up the next morning. Less your discharge over night, less is required to top up = more energy available for running heavy loads while the sun is shinning. An Energy audit is the cheapest and most rewarding effort any potential solar off-grider needs to embark on.
I intend to combine it with NEPA light.

Who made you a judge to decide when or not to bury any debate?

We are opening people's eyes on how to make money and you are saying what?
I do not think what I said warrants this

Guy why did you attack me.
Do I know you before.

No problems I can see that you an agbero who is ready to pick fight with anybody. I am not the type who will pick fight with you.

You should keep shouting for people to buy Peugeot or go to any carmart to stop anybody who wants to buy corolla for Uber.

Better still You can tell copart to stop auctioning cars for potential uber partners

If you are not satisfied with these you can go channels TV or you can carry placard announcing to the whole world that Peugeot is better than corollas.

And if people continue to buy corollas for Uber you can hug the transformer around your house or just speed into any army barracks in sight.

Conclusion
You and Ogunvic4 are mannerless and highly narrow minded mofos. I can never buy Peugeot for Uber... come and beat me

Stop shouting on this forum like a madman

Ogunvic4 and Romoe3 pls stop trying convince people to buy Peugeot. You've explained yourselves enough for discerning minds to choose.
No need trying to argue with those who prefer corollas.
My manager can never buy Peugeot again on his life.
My wife can never buy a Toyota.
Both based on experience

I think we should bury this debate here.

No need to shout with all CAPS and argue with others opinion about choice of cars.
