One of the great revelations in our polity is the Peter Obi hurricane. It sweeps through the length and breadth of Nigeria. 1. He doesn't have PDP national structure 2. He doesn't have his PDP regional structure 3. No body knows him in North 4. He's going for VP candidate But guess what? PDP and APC top echelon are meeting because of Peter Obi. More unsettling is the posture of South East aspirants in various parties. They seem to see Peter Obi as zonal project. If you're one of those that sleep on Peter Obi, please wake up, the man means business. |
FoolaniHellman:You're the fool for thinking that a reminder is argument |
TonyRazor:From this report, did he say what this paper captioned? They never saw his momentum, now they want to blackmail him. |
Donshegxy10:You’re ignorant of Peter Obi. But I want you answer these questions: Who did he become APGA candidate in 2003? Do you know Okey Nwosu(Ikolo Awka)? He will tell you about Peter Obi Second question: how did Peter Obi, a naive politician and tight-fisted man take the Anambra PDP structure from Chief Chris Ubah since 2013 and has remained the leader since 7 years? Do you what it takes to run a state party structure? My problem with you lot is; you start your rubbish talk with “let’s be sincere”, when in actual sense, you’re talking nonsense. |
jaxxy:Yet another postulation. Who told you that to create wealth is to throw money around? How many people has Dangote given money? But is he creating wealth? Better think before you talk |

GEJ men will actually work for Peter Obi emergence |

And so? Please next base |
famology:The have locus standi to sue ooo. SC said it in Ondo state case |
Golan007:Peruse the merit of this case, you will see APC is in hot soup. |
emperor863:This one is being 'emoshonal' now. Obi campaigned with Atiku in the North. Obi was in Niger state last week Obi was in Kano state late last year. One thing about Obi is his independent mindedness. He attended Atiku's declaration and next day, he declared. Have you seen politicians do it? That guy is popular in the north ooo. And before I drop; how did he treat the north when he was governor? |
If he eventually emerges PDP candidate, then people will know that campaign has levels. |
Aufbauh:APC give Umahi ticket. PDP give Obi ticket. Both are true sons of Igbo and we will not be drawn to any comparisons. Thank you. |
Maxymilliano:Every workman must justify his pay. Such is the case of this Writer Nwabufor. 1st; Tinubu is not the candidate of APC. He is like a Dave Umahi, Orji Kalu, Rochas Okorocha etc. They are all aspirants. There are those considered as dark horses who could emerge in APC through consensus. They are Rotimi Amaechi, Ogbonnaya Onuh and Godwin Emefiele. APC as a party is yet to do convention that will Usher in those that may pick the presidential candidate: and you know of a good number of party executive came through consensus, they will likely choose candidates through same process. And as a political student, I learnt that the strongest always lose out in consensus. It happened during Peter Odili and Yaradua set. Yes, Ahmed Tinubu has paid his dues, he's in pole position to win the ticket going by the optics, but it remains to see the result. Peter Obi on the other is not a PDP candidate. In fact, he just declared but because Fredrick Nwabufor is looking for a big fish he will use to shine to justify his pay, Peter Obi is the soft target. But does Peter Obi have in PDP primaries? It remains to be seen. But if he make it through the primaries, no politician in the South will match him. Let's wait until the primary |
LeoDeKing:If you know Peter Obi less than 1%, you will not speak so naively. But be assured that if gets the ticket, he will dust anyone. |
globemoney:You are not wise and you are not brilliant. What is Legacy? What is project? If you know what Legacy is, then you will know that it could be tangible or intangible. Till the world end, the revolution Peter Obi brought in education, financial management and other sectors will be discussed in Nigeria. Tell me what else is Legacy. When Anambra state was struggling in JAMB and WAEC ranking, we were all aware. But Peter Obi investment in education changed the story. Tell me again what is Project. Upper Iweka facelift Dredging of Agu Awka. Amaku Teaching Hospitabl Igbariam campus of ANSU Etc are all tangible Legacy projects of Peter Obi. But my rational self takes pleasure in intangible Legacy projects because those ones outlive the initiators. I want you to reason along this line so you don’t embarrass yourself |
leicestercamper:This is not fake news mr man. I watched it on Arise Tv this morning |
Parachoko:You making noise here please We have heard you, so chill |
perambulator:Peter Obi will never be Atiku's VP candidate again. He has passed that level and he knows it. He could be in Atiku camp of non-governors group but he's actually gunning for the seat. Now, someone will see the lengthy gibberish you said and think you made sense. PDP couldn't have won 2015 because the were not organized in the region of the candidate. Now, in South the same power of incumbent played out seeing Ebonyi, a PDP governor and SE gov forum chairman, working against PDP. But aside this, how did Peter Obi affected Atiku's rating? Positive. In PDP 2022 primaries, I'm calm because I've followed the game of politics closed over 2 decades, and I saw how former Rivers gov Peter Odili was darling of all, but unknown Yaradua carried the night. Odili didn't even contest. So cool down |
AtikuNetwork:Nawaa ooooo. This is not to be swept under the carpet. Osibanjo is an RCCG member. I'm one too but if these points are true, then he has to be excused because it's a dangerous sign. |
Kingnelson9:You are right but I don't why some people still don't get it. NASS played a fast one on Buhari and his men. So if the force things, then the party will die |
Windscribe:Igbos are better politicians than Yorubas. The advantage Yorubas have over Igbos is the strained relationship between Muslim north and East. Before the war, Zik trounced Awolowo even in West. After civil war, an Igbo became number 2 and number 4 in Nigeria: Alex Ekwueme and Edwin Umezeoke. In 1999, Igbo dominated party beat AD and ANPP. Or who can match Ekwueme in South West in 1999? What Yorubas use now is subterfuge tactics using the media. That's cowardice. Currently, it does appear as if that strategy is working against South West because their infighting has exposed how hateful they. And based on the analysis of 2023, the Igbos on this platform tend to analyze realistically. What Yorubas do here is: 1. Analysis of blackmail- that they supported Buhari and north and therefore must be supported But when Igbos talk about equity and fairness; they will say "power is taken not given". 2. Analysis of self-service: that because of IPOB, the north won't support Igbos. Meanwhile, they are the ones telling the north not to support SE. When reminded of Sunday Igboho, they will say he doesn't have support. But who ferried him to Benin Republic? In 2023, Amaechi will not be the candidate because the new electoral act stopped serving ministers from voting and being voted for in the primaries. Except there's a waiver. That said, power is coming to SE or NE. APC is gone and gone for ever |
LegendHero:What arm of APC empowered Sani Bello to take over? You SW peeps don’t see the direction this is going; all you want to see is whether any Tinubu lineup is represented in the lawlessness. That makes it lawful. Now listen as I predict like I always do: A new part will emerge from APC Any convention by Sani Bello will be nullified if challenged in court. Now in the event that APC members fail to challenge this in court, a PDP member can do that according to SC ruling @Helinus I’ve predicted again ooo. Take note |
seunmsg:Questions: 6 Geopolitical Zones NC National Chairman SW President NE Vice President SE Senate President NW Speaker HoR SS nothing Then you think this report is legit? Hahaha Okay, everything is cast in the stone? So who is the senator from SE that will be senate president in 2023 that was not qualified to be senate president in 2019? Hahaha This report was sponsored against Rotimi Amaechi. If you know how this will affect Amaechi’s influence in APC, then you will understand. Finally, the statement by Obasanjo is a pointer to the direction the pendulum will swing. Two zones are highly considered for National cohesion: South East and North East. Bookmark this |
Senomii:Conquer Nigeria not South East |
JAMO84:Buhari may not be against Tinubu, but the kingmakers are. You guys spend so much time on nairaland without learning how these things work. Power is not coming to SW. It has been taken care of. If APC gives ticket to SW, they will lose so badly. |
PeaceJoyLove:Igbo not Ibo. I will slap you next time you make that grave mistake. But to your point: So Igbos will hijack PDP from the rest of Nigeria while Yorubas will not hijack APC? Some of are so sure of Fulani alliance, but a distant observer will tell you that Yoruba and Fulani have always been water and oil. That's why y'all hated OBJ because he's the only Yoruba politician that has the ear of the Fulani. You would ask ignorantly: "what of 2015"? What happened in 2015 is inevitable. The powers that be in the world have rejected GEJ. He would've been removed by every means possible. But for it to take Democratic route, the election happened. Go and check SW votes and compare it what north churned out. They prepared without the South West. No wonder they are reluctant to listen to any Tinubu or Osibanjo for 2023. So calm down, power is coming to East and it's been settled. Both APC and PDP are fielding an Igbo man. Tinubu and Kwankwaso are working things out. Watch this space |
Invictuse:This one is mad already
|
Maxymilliano:This is the only politician from South East that can force people to get voters card and willing to vote. He has this natural aura that makes people to love him |
Maxymilliano:This is the only politician from South East that can force people to get voters card and willing to vote. He has this natural aura that makes people to live him |
jrjfjfj:This una time for Igbos no de reach? See I'm from Anambra, live and work in Lagos. I'm not different from Damilola from Osun who lives and work in Lagos. Some of you scallywags from the 5 states of SW must stop being foolish and silly. Lagos, historically belongs to Benin and the Oba of Lagos still pays homage to Oba of Benin. You fools have annexed Lagos and do want the aboriginal to go near the sit of power. This has brought suicidal arrogance to you and you think to can stay in your wretched home to issue threats to Igbos. Now I promise you: even in you area in Lagos, square up against an Igbo man and watch your own people disgrace you. Fool |
I read this interview and no where microzone was mentioned. People are just here analyzing an explicit statement. The president will come from South. So far in APC, Tinubu has shown capacity and I won't be surprised anymore if he gets the ticket. Except the party assuage Tinubu and give the ticket to South East; apart from that, the party will caput. The momentum of Kwankwaso and co should be taken serious and if Tinubu teams up with Kwankwaso, NW and SW will be interesting. But in my observation, I think president is coming to East. Mind you; I hit my target. Helinus will attest to it. |
