PoliticsWhat IPOB Should Do by JaroMan(op): 10:31am On Jan 04, 2022
The noise from activities of IPOB is distracting to say the least, and they're losing the little goodwill left.
So what must they do?
1. Go into agriculture to bridge the gap the north has over South East in that respect. This is pertinent because Igbos are competitive in nature. We don't stop people from doing business so that we can sell. It was when I came to Lagos, that I heard two persons don't do same business in one building.
It is not like that in the East. Twenty persons can be hairdresser in a building and there will be healthy competition.
If you go to Onitsha, Chinese men would spread their big mats, display their fashion wares and be slugging it out with other traders. That is whom we are.
Allow Fulani sell their cow meats (ie if actually a good number of the owners of the business are not Igbos). Allow them. Those busy ones are not killers.
2. Go into education: Freedom project is a long term project and never comes without change of system. Education is the veritable avenue to change any system, without a gunshot.
Using Radio Biafra to spread information is effective, but the very class of people that will drive this freedom are still in primary schools. If you watch the movie, Sarafina; you will understand that South Africa actually won their freedom when the started teaching school children what freedom is. So IPOB must build schools, establish grooming centers etc. Nigeria is too porous that they can never know something like it happening until they start feeling the impulse. Visit Kano and see 100s of terrorists cells everywhere, yet nobody asks question about it.
3. Join a political group: I know people have said more on this. There's more to be said.
Read the history of freedom fighters, none did it from outside. You must be involved in a system to change the system. Find a political party and take over government using instruments of government.
Let's your party make a model of a state and see other states yearning to be part of you.
Sponsor senators, reps, etc to Abuja and let them continue upholding your mandate.
Freedom fighting is a marathon race, not Sprint.
If you want it quick, then you will be labeled terrorists, you will be loathed, hated by even the people who you want to salvage. So be wise and patient about it.

And finally, this piece is for those that have given up on Nigeria.
Those of us who still think there's 'Hope' even in 'Hopelessness', we will still be pushing for a better South East Nigeria.
In 2023, when Nigerians unanimously elect a president from South East extraction, every dissenting voices will join us to show Nigeria that truly, the three wise men were really from the East.
Happy New year

2023: APC Working On One Lie That Will Return PDP To Power – PGF DG
FEATUREDLATEST NEWSNEWS
By Tony Ezimakor On Jan 3, 2022

Salisu Mohd Lukman, Director General of the Progressive Governors Forum PGF has accused the APC Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) of working on a lie that will end up foisting the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) again on Nigerians in 2023.

According to the APC chieftain, the APC leadership is working on the fallacy that anybody the party imposes on Nigerians during the party’s presidential primaries will sweep the poll in 2023, a proposition he says cannot stand.

He said such a lie will only pave way for PDP’s return to power, adding that the ongoing plot to postpone the scheduled February convention of the party will spell doom for the ruling party.
He also accused the CECPC of deliberately pushing for postponement, of the convention, working in accord with those he said are campaigning to have the election of the APC NWC and the presidential primary held on the same day.

In either case, he alerted that the party is only working hard to launch the 2019 Zamfara State Election debacle at the national scale ahead of the 2023 General Election, noting that failure of the CECPC to give a definite date for the convention as well name the convention subcommittees has sustained the doubt among party stakeholders.

“It is very difficult to excuse the CECPC from the campaign to postpone the February Convention. If the CECPC is not interested in the postponement of the Convention from the agreed February 2022 date, why is it difficult to make a formal announcement about the date and venue of the Convention?

“Statutorily, by the requirement of the Electoral Act, the party is expected to serve at least 21 days’ notice of the Convention to INEC. Which basically means that if the Convention is to hold any day before February 28, 2021, the notice to INEC should be given on or before February 7, 2022” he pointed out.

Lukman said the party and APC leaders appear not to have learned any lessons from the concluded Anambra State governorship election, believing “that agendas set in 2014 or 2019 are sufficient to respond to contemporary challenges, which post 2023 governance will be expected to respond to”.

A federal High Court presided over Justice Ekwo had recently declared that the party was a party to the Anambra State Election, haven failed to conduct a valid Governorship primary.

While he observed that the CECPC has not deemed it necessary to review the said Anambra State election and take invaluable lessons, Lukman expressed concern that the APC leadership is working to impose a candidate on the party in 2023 and without the buy-in of stakeholders.

He said :
“It will be foolhardy to expect that the popularity of the APC will be sustained in 2023 without undertaking similar objective reviews. It would be such objective reviews that would assist the party to renegotiate and retain the support of Nigerians” he said, pointing to the internal unity that helped APC to ride the crest in 2015.

“The burden of responsibility to strengthen the capacity of the APC to put itself on a vantage position to commence internal negotiation around all these issues is on the CECPC, especially, the Chairman, His Excellency, Mai Mala Buni. Inability to discharge this responsibility or avoid it by toying the path of a deceptive campaign for postponement of Convention can only spell doom for the APC and return Nigeria to the hands of those who laid the foundation for all the challenges facing the country.

“By way of an appeal to APC leaders, as much as the question of who emerges as the candidate of the party is very important, it is not only who emerges as a candidate of the party that can win the election. But how united are party leaders behind the candidate will be a more determining factor. President Buhari, with all his mass support in the Northern part of the country, may not have won the election in 2015 without the unity of all APC leaders from every part of the country. All APC leaders must be reminded that there is no one political leader in the country that enjoys convincing mass support of any region of the country.

“Therefore, the process of internal debates within the APC to enhance the confidence of party leaders from every part of the country and by extension Nigerians to support any potential candidate of the party should be oriented around an agreement on what needs to be done to address national challenges.

” In fact, the ability of the party to manage internal party contests for the emergence of presidential candidates for instance, will be dependent on the kind of confidence that would have emerged among party leaders during internal debates.

“Party leaders and all members should try to see the bigger picture and work for stronger internal unity within the APC. The only reason why some leaders, perhaps including the members of CECPC, are attracted to campaign for postponement for the Convention is the deceptive belief that any candidate who emerged, whether elected or imposed on the party can win the 2023 elections. This is a big lie!”

The chances of Jonathan becoming APC candidate is brighter than that of Ahmed Tinubu.
Reason is simple:
1. South South still has one term remaining
2. His track record shows he could be more trustworthy
3. It's the shortest route for north to return to power.
Meanwhile, in all these, South East has the brightest chance.
Reason:
1. Competence
2. Equity and fairness

PoliticsMust Read As Ngige Bares It All by JaroMan(op): 8:42pm On Jan 01, 2022
Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige has expressed strong support for the emergence of a President of Southern extraction in line with the rotation and zoning convention guiding the composition of government at various levels in Nigeria.

Ngige, who is a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) argued that zoning and rotation of power create stability, unity, equity and progress of the country.

According to him, rotation engenders confidence and patriotism and ensures that no one ethnic group or section of the country, dominates the other.

The former Anambra State Governor described those saying no such convention exists as not saying the truth.

He particularly berated the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for hibernating and waiting for APC to choose a Southern presidential candidate, so they can pick theirs from the North in clear breach of the rotation convention and even against the rotation principle enshrined in the PDP constitution.

He said, “Their top apparatchik thinks they are smart. They want to play a fast one. They are waiting for APC to say South. Their calculation is that when that happens, they will go North. Number one, that will be an act of bad faith because it will mean that they have taken the people in the South South and South East that have all along supported PDP 90 percent in all the elections, for a ride.

The Next Cash and Carry mall was built while he was governor. Critics have alleged the multibillion Naira shopping complex being erected by the Governor of Anambra State in Kado, Abuja ranked to be the largest shopping center in West Africa at the time it was completed was obtained through proceeds of corruption. 247ureports.com’s publication in May 2009 originally broke the news on the shopping complex secretly being erected by the Governor when Gov Peter Obi’s media assistant [Valentine Obieyem] was nabbed in Lagos by Lagos State police ferrying the sum of N255million to Peter Obi’s Apapa office. Construction started on the shopping complex roughly a year into Peter Obi’s tenure as governor.

The fire outbreak comes a few months after Peter Obi was mentioned in the Pandora expose for having secrets banks accounts in tax havens in the Caribbean.

Happy New year fellas. I pray the year start off with us on a high note.
My new year resolution is simple:
Use the instrument of love to drive home my message.
What is my message?
Nigeria is dire need of a president from South East extraction.
My conviction:
Saw how U.S. improved when the did the extraordinary by electing President Barack Obama.
Every country has a turn around point. And it happens when the country makes a radical move.
Jerry Rawlins did it Ghana
Rwanda President apologized and since then, Rwanda is no longer the same
The fall of Berlin wall brought Germany into world reckoning again
Chairman Mao Zedong did it in China
Lee Kaun Yew took radical steps and Singapore is not the same again
Nigeria has been yearning for a better country, when we have continued to do same thing over again.
The only thing Nigeria has not done is: electing a president from South East.
Let's make it happen.
I invite you to this patriotic project.
You're welcome.
