Reality3080:The SW hated PDP, yet OBJ did two terms. The NE were all in APC except Taraba, yet PDP gave Atiku ticket. Why is this different with an Igbo man? |
louqas:So if PDP chose and IGBO man ![]() |
adamsmith914:if others refuse to speak, so we shouldn't speak too? For this you're a clown. Igbos hate injustice and reacts once they perceive injustice. So if you prefer to keep silent while dying, good luck. The Oppressors complaining of been marginalized by who? Just yesterday one of theirs in Dr Madam Okadigbo was made chairperson of the Nigeria National Petroleum Company, taking over from another Igbo Ifeanyi Ararume?
don't worry, we will invite you to thanksgiving outing for that useless appointment. If you not a slow poke, you will know that chairman of a board is ceremonial and and has no clout attached to it. Yet everyday all we hear from the oppressor tribe is that we are been cheated in Nigeria, because their other 2 majority oppressor tribes are wheeling more power than them?
Are you a clown? There's no faction in Ohaneze but charlatans want to be seen. And it's unfortunate the you clown like to listen to those charlatans because he fits into you evil schemes against Igbos. Okechukwu Isiguzoro confronts the north and makes inciting remarks, and you like it because you evil minds don't to see peace between the East and North. You will be disappointed. Evil souls. |
DubaiLandLord:At least you're becoming sensible. Not always trying to derail thread. Tinubu president? How is that even possible to rational mind? It's hard sell for APC. Let's see: Tinubu(Muslim) and (Muslim VP): he will lose Christians in Nigeria and Muslims from PDP VP candidate zone. Tinubu (Muslim) and Christian VP: he will lose in SE and SS. And also lose Muslim in the north to Muslim VP. So in all these, he is a misfit. E shock you?. ![]() |
louqas:Why did the president as NASS to include CONSENSUS mode of primaries in electoral bill so he will sign it? It's because the preferred person doesn't have the numbers, so he wants to use consensus to impose the person on the party. The only without numbers in APC is South East. Like I said, watch out. |
helinues: I know it doesn't sit well with you. But that's how things will play out. It's not my fault. |
louqas:I'm made some forecast here and without sounding immodest, I always hit the target. The politics of APC is easier to decode than PDP. PDP are mostly players and schemers. But APC are reactionaries who are always making daylight moves. The game is like this: SE/NE to balance power in the north and South. National Chairman will come from NC. When this happens, don't forget to acknowledge it. |
Coldshisha:These conditions are meet within 30 minutes before Congress. It's a non issue |
Coldshisha:Did you read what the president said about the new electoral bill? He said if NASS include indirect primaries and CONSENSUS, he will sign the bill. |
Coldshisha:007 Movie is titled "Tomorrow Never Dies". We should wait till then. But I've told you what must happen |
My brothers and sisters, we are in the season of politics and therefore, you should be ready of stories that make you lose hope, stories that make you despair and want to quit coming online. Stories that make you question God why he created you an Igbo. These are inevitables. But I want to assure you, do not be discouraged; 2023 is Igbos to lose. I became a politician at a younger age, learning from the very best, Dr Cbuba Okadigbo. Dr Okadigbo was a forecaster in politics. Of course you know he read political science and was former political adviser to Shehu Shagari. He told us when an Igbo man will be president of Nigeria. That was in 2001 during his turbulent times as Senate President. According to him; After OBJ, power will shift to North. He said, "there, they don't do microzone. It's NW or nobody. But if NW doesn't have strong personality, then it's survival of the fittest ". So it happened same way because it was between Yaradua and Buhari. He told us then: " if PDP continues in power, then 2015, an Igbo man will be president". Mind you, he said these things in 2001. But in 2007, OBJ forced Yaradua and GEJ on Nigeria and we accepted it. What PDP wanted to achieve was, after Yaradua 8 years, once power returns to South in 2015, Igbos will produce the president. But death happened and the rest is history. But during that time, ANPP had sent emissaries to Okadigbo, wooing him to join them. So he was briefing his supporters on his next political journey, and he said. "If ANPP wins election in 2003, after Buhari's 8 years, in 2011, power will return to South and South South has it". This was where he stopped and ask those that have eyes to do 20 years forecast. It was in 2015 after the election that I went to see one of Okadigbo boys. He's now a professor at Enugu state university of technology. He told me about that puzzle the late Sage gave. I didn't even remember, until he reminded me. This political scientist said "baring any death of the president, presidency will come to South East in 2023". Why did I believe him? Dr Akin Osutokun, former political adviser to OBJ, in his yesterday's reaction to Bisi Akande book posited thus; "in 2023, Nigeria will have 24 years of uninterrupted democracy. Out of this 24 years, OBJ did 8 years as president, Osibanjo would've done 8 years as VP. That 16 years; it would be unthinkable for power brokers to look the way of South West to take over from Buhari. He advised Tinubu to either throw his weight behind SE or risks losing everything (sic)". Party Tickets APC and PDP will give South East the ticket. APC is becoming glaring going by the body language of the party leadership. For instance, two weeks ago, Orji Kalu appealed to the party leaders to shift the convention. Yesterday, 5 members of the party from North want the court to stop convention. APC is divided between governors and others. The governors are incharge of the party now and they are ANPP members of the party. In 2015 President candidate CPC VP ACN In 2023, president candidate ANPP VP CPC The strong south in ANPP are Umahi and Ogbonnaya Onuh. Watch out these two. PDP They have a written constitution and zoning is included. So they will respect that or the party will die naturally. But if they argue that the there's an exception to the zoning, just like we have now where they are not in power; and then zone to North. The northerner will still not will(won't say more on this), but Just know that Nigeria is not U.S. where geopolitics has little or no effect. So Igbos, don't worry about your voting strength, your population and other disadvantages, the election is us to lose. Nigeria politics is not game of numbers as obtained in democracy, it is number of games. |
descartes400:Yes, it was corrupted and the family is in the know. Will you jail those underage boys? Will you close the school? Listen to Femi Falana talk after the the autopsy and see him sounding rather laid back. |

The child died in the family's custody. Did the run an autopsy before going public? There are three parties in the case 1. The victim family 2. The 5 boys families 3. The school Yes, the family is rich but they needed the cooperation of the school to actually made a headway. It was the school that threw the spanner in the case. Their insistence that the boy fell while playing ball, gave the families the alibi. They didn't allow the school in investigate independently. Rather, the made the school appear as culprit. This might actually be the reason why the school is on same page with the accused, who are connected people in the society. Why I think the family was too fast? They were actually accusing the school based on their observations and not medical examinations. Because they would've sued with their own medical results, so the judge will order for a second independent autopsy. That will put everyone on caution. They also said the boy mentioned names? Who was there? But they stampede the school and that made the school to try to protect their image. If they had allowed the school, they would've disowned those kids and the case won't be bad. My take though |
Those that know Babangida Aliyu will tell you one thing he is known for: LYING. He lies a lot and untrustworthy in Niger PDP, having been expelled at one time. He's a joker |
Etuagievin:From day one, the family never showed tact. They went all out and played their last card. This media trial should have been the done now. But if they raise that issue again, a lot of people will feel uninterested. Mind you, I'm not gloating of their loss, but we learn everyday. Dialog is a veritable avenue to resolving any problem. |
AfroKnight:Your types pushed this family into that mistake. |
Take Away 1. The 5 plaintiffs are all from North. 2. The sued the party and Buni 3. They waited until the president wants to meet Buni and co to fix convention date The north want to scatter APC, then elect one of their own in PDP. But just like Ngige warned the PDP, it will backfire. |
AkalaJ:In 2007, did you ever hear that Yaradua was contesting President? Who won? Nobody is hiding behind Atiku, the strategy of South East has worked so far for them because they have continued to appeal to the conscience of Nigerians. Those in Atiku camp may get it after all. Those in Wike camp can as well get. But they have sustained pressure on their various camps. |
1. APC convention may hold in February since governors and Buhari will meet the weekend to choose a date 2. Four members of APC asks court to stop convention until state congresses, especially Anambra and Zamfara chapters are concluded. 3. Former Niger governor, Babangida Aliyu has disclosed that PDP has zoned the presidential ticket to North. 4. Fayemi has alerted the general public that some vested interests in APC want to malign his image because of 2023. |
wallstreetnews:When that woman went to hire Femi Falana, I said here that the family is running rather too fast and may run into a ditch. I received the worst insult that very day, but I knew this day will come. My reasons: This case involves a school with vested interest in the society. You want to close it down? The family would've worked with the school to unravel the mystery behind the boy's death. But they choose to attack the school and 5 families of the suspects. That's a huge fight and these families are top class families, which includes Late Kashamu family. |
All na Tinubu boys in PDP. Lagos PDP stinks. Don't take them serious |
They've come again with fictitious numbers and analysis, that's not backed by empirical evidence. |
Why I think President Buhari is Shielding Ogbonnaya Onuh. 1. He's from the zone that is politically disadvantaged 2. He's from the zone that is economically disadvantaged 3. He is stranger to media 4. He doesn't have the financial war chest 5. He is unassuming and a gentleman to the core. These having been said, I doubt if Buhari has the capacity to choose a successor for his party and Nigeria. He has no such clout like ubiquitous OBJ. So anybody he is Shielding is on a lonnnng thing. |
Why do I like this news? 1. Nobody will say Igbos betrayed them 2. Nobody will say Igbos didn't build bridge 3. We shall know who plays politics of exclusion 2023 is for South East. |
sinkhole:God have Mercy. What is really going on? So all these newspapers praises and commendation are only image laundry? Well my experience tells two things: 1. Either the system doesn't work well or 2. Someone wants his preferred vendor to come in. I've been there before. |
Pastor Biodun Fatayinbo made scratchy remarks about the Igbos and 'MEGA' Church. He thinks the reason for dearth of 'MEGA' Church in the East, despite having more 90% Christian population, is because of their lack of liberality. HOW TRUE IS THIS ASSERTION? What might be the reason? Some 'MEGA' Churches in Nigeria 1. Redeemed Christian Church of God 2. Deeper Christian Life Bible Church 3. Living Faith Bible Church 4. Mountain of Fire 5. The Redeemed Evangelical Mission 6. Lord's Chosen 7. Dunamis? 8. Salvation Ministry 9. Later Rain? 10. Day Star? 11. House on the Rock? 12. COZA? Etc... Those with '?' are those without national spread but pull weight. Note: This classification is based on the location of the headquarters and NOT the owners. Let's talk... |
gentleguy1975:Daily Post and Okechukwu Isiguzoro are confused. When Ambassador Obiozor speaks, I will Ohaneze position. I never imagined Buhari releasing Kanu after Igbo leaders visit. That will amount to jumping the gun. Rather, I expect the forth and back to continue while underground negotiations continue. That is how diplomacy is applied. |
JAMO84:Stop all these nonsense because you really don't know the meaning of Dignity. Do you know Atiku went to court as a VP and secured some rights and privileges for VPs that will come after him. He restored the dignity OBJ wanted to rubbish. What does VP Osibanjo do? Attend useless functions here and there while Ministries are taken away from him. |
EcoBrick:Even those that are not IPOB? ![]() |
helinues:What is treason? Activities of Boko Haram, do they include features of treason? |
iwaeda:I'm a PDP man but Lagos PDP are all hungry dogs. Tinubu pay them to sabotage the party. |
2023 Presidency: Entrenched Interests In APC Plotting To Pull Me Down – Fayemi Ekiti State Governor Kayode Fayemi has alleged grand plots by certain forces within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to launch negative media campaigns against his person and position, even as he insisted that he had not told anyone about his interest in the presidency. Governor Fayemi, in a statement made available to journalists by his Chief Press Secretary, Yinka Oyebode, alleged that “the plot is to use some faceless political groups and political jobbers from different parts of the country to defame the Ekiti State Governor.” Fayemi specifically said ” the plan is to use the faceless groups to discredit Governor Fayemi and portray him as unacceptable to the generality of the people across the six geo-political zones of the country. This plot is part of their game plan for the 2023 presidential contest.” The statement read: “The Nigerian Constitution states clearly the qualifications for the position of the President of the country. Every qualified adult has the right to aspire to the number one position. Therefore, we do not believe it is proper, decent or strategic for any aspirant to think his campaign can only gather momentum when he destroys the reputation of a fellow citizen who is perceived as a possible opponent. “The general public is hereby alerted of a fresh plot by some political interests to activate a spate of negative media campaigns against the person of Dr Kayode Fayemi, Governor of Ekiti State and Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF). “For the avoidance of doubt, Dr Fayemi has not told anyone that he is in the race for the Presidency of Nigeria. He has always maintained that he is on duty in Ekiti and would like to concentrate on that assignment. What he does Afterwards is in the hands of God and he will cross that bridge at the appropriate time. He restated this position during his most recent interview with Arise TV on January 1, 2022. “Some entrenched interests within the ruling All Progressives Congress, however, seem uncomfortable with the rising profile of the NGF Chairman and have resorted to cheap blackmail aimed at de-marketing him. “We urge members of the public to disregard the potpourri of lies and cheap blackmail that could be released in the coming days, while the promoters of this smear campaign are advised to concentrate on marketing their aspiration to the good people of Nigeria without recourse to defamation or character assassination of perceived competitors.” the governor said. |
