Krasid: YAYA TOURE is the greatest african midfielder of all time. Agreeable, but Abedi Pele will have something to say about that. |

onila: true, thats why I was supporting them
dey have suffered
I have nothing against Ghana, if Ghana won that means they wld have gotten the highest number of cups in Africa which wld have been good but CIV deserved it They wouldn't have been the holder of highest number of cups though. Egypt is on 7 already. |

I'm glad the CIV golden generation has finally won a trophy. I was rooting for them. My brother, it would have been unfair for this generation of CIV players not to win anything. So glad for them. |

AnnieAnnie: To an extend am not happy that CIV won. It further justifies that givin yaya toure african best was a better option because I feel our Enyeama deserved it better. No african keeper has achieved his strides in a foreign land but all the same. Congrats Elephants for Gervinho's sake Consult history textbooks if you are young. Go and read about Bruce Grobbelaar and Thomas Nkono. |

Good to see my pre-tournament wish for CIV come to pass: AFCON 2015: Which Country Will You Support? by Jarus(m): 10:12pm On Nov 21, 2014
Mine is Cote D'Ivoire.
This generation of CIV players badly need to win something.
These guys are so patriotic about their country, despite being megastars (unlike our boys).
The played great role in ending the war in their country.
Two of their players share 5 African Player of the Year awards between themselves.
AFCON is what is missing.
No better way to end a glorious generation than an AFCON trophy for their country.
I'm following them to AFCON. They're my team.
They have been close to it a couple of times - Egypt beat them in final in 2008 edition.
Ghana has a similar story of patriotic and committed players, but being our archrivals, I don't want them to win because of bragging right.
TeamCIV.
(Modify) (Quote) (Report) 8 Likes (Share) https://www.nairaland.com/2009200/afcon-2015-which-country-supportIt's just unfair for this generation of CIV with all their talent and dedication to their country not to win AFCON in their generation, especially when average teams like Nigeria and Zambia have won it in same era. As for Ghana, the objective me thinks they also deserve something (I like their zeal and zest for their country), but the rival NIgerian me doesn't want them to win because of bragging right. When we catch them at 4 and overtake them, I can begin to support them. |

How would you rate Jonathan compared to another president, OBJ If we take respect for rule of law as humility, he's not different from Obj. The only difference is Obj never pretended about his own. |

nortcentrallord: You will rather allow you name to be maligned @ home and before international community when you can easily rest the case by a simple letter to cambridge waec? Then you must be hiding something. Deep down your heart, you know the truth and it must come out to open light. International community knows I cannot forge a document and attribute it to Cambridge of all places. A document (statement of result) has been flying around in Cambridge's name, if it was forged, Cambridge would have issued a disclaimer. They don't need a candidate's consent to disclaim a material attributed to them. Just as they didn't need candidate's approval to tell us that they offered Hausa in 1961 in Northern Nigeria and other lies by PDP with respect to the result: http://cambridgeassessment.org.uk/news/statement-in-response-to-nigerian-presidential-election-enquiries/Cambridge would not keep quiet if something fake is attributed to them. They have seen the Buhari's statement of results flying around and if the content was not what they scored Buhari in 1961, they would have come out to deny it, just as they disclaimed PDP's lies on Hausa language etc. Lying against someone does not require any consent to bust. Anyone with quarter brain knows this. The international community knows this. They know it's a ridiculous lie by the PDP. Did you notice that The Economist did not even talk about certificate in highlighting the negatives of Buhari in their Editorial. |

Elxandre: Jarus , you are a very enlightened fellow. Tell me, would it be very difficult for GMB to request for a confirmation from Cambridge? Even Cambridge doesn't somewhat advised the concerned to request for a confirmation from them, knowing the gravity of the situation. Why would he, when he knows the certificate were with the military and the military has turned partisan? If I were a General, I wont allow some small boys (FFK and co) to play on my intelligence and push me around when I have provided conclusive roof. At their worst, they can go to court. |

naijaking1: How come WAEC itself doesn't have a copy of Buhar's certificate I'm surprised I didn't see any front page commenter to put this fellow out of his misery: that it was not WAEC that conducted 1961 school certificate examination in Nigeria. |

rozayx5: so sad how you have stooped so low to support this kind of illegal act just in the name of supporting APC Where did I support it? Do explaining and putting thing in perspective when some are trying to twist it for political gain, mean support? I did not supprt it. And it was by ACN. Rather, I support Buhari and Bakare for tuning it down. |
Politics › Re: BAKARE BOMBSHELL: How I Was Forced To Sign Resignation Letter As VP Candidate by Jarus(m): 11:49pm On Feb 05, 2015 |
Sweetlemon: This Bakare is confused sha. Wasn't he praising Buhari a few days ago? Don't let these TANoids confuse you. Bakare still supports Buhari. Tunde Bakare never said they required Osinbajo to resign a resignatory letter. He said this in 2011 to explain why ACN and CPC last minute merger did not work out. That was ACN's demand before they supported CPC then, but both Buhari and Osinbajo rejected that offer. |
