sonnie10: That is not true. The burden of proof in any case requires that the accused exonerate himself. So if you just wake up tomorrow to say "Jarus is a female posing on NL as male", I have suddenly become the one to go and spend my resources, take my picture, post it on Nairaland, call my secondary school mates to come and post on NL as witness all because one probably drunk person says something about me? Where did you school? |

erico2k2: with due respect plz point me to the link where Cambridge released his result and to whom and also the grades.Im waiting cos I know as a matter of fact no institution will release statement of result of anyone above 16 to a third party without the consent of the candidate unless to law enforcement agency ,this is how the UK act, not even under freedom of information act covers this. Remind me where I said Cambridge released his result. |

Simple. Only a government that has something up its sleeves (rigging) changes an electoral umpire during election period.
Jonathan goes around to boast of a "free and fair" 2011 election as his achievement, so why is he afraid of presenting himself before the same umpire? |

erico2k2: bross Obtained a result with Sat for an Exam are two diff things. The school confirmed that: 1, He sat for the exam 2, He obtained result. And they went further to release his grades, and even a mastersheet in Cambridge's heading. Would Cambridge have kept quiet if that mastersheet showing Buhari's result was a forgery? If you lie against me (Cambridge), do I need any approval to issue a disclaimer? Why has Cambridge not issued a disclaimer? Guess what? The only disclaimer they have issued was to bust PDP's lies that Hausa was not offered in 1961. |

Came late to this thread.
And has anyone also asked why Cambridge has not refuted the attribution of that result to them?
Do you think if you forge results in Cambridge's name, Cambridge would not have issued a disclaimer?
Did anyone prompt them before they busted PDP's lies that Hausa was not offered in Cambridge WASC 1981?
I just pity these so-called schooled Nigerians that waste their time on that non-issue. |

barcanista: Thanks man! I'm fine and you? Sorry for late reply, I've been busy with creating a thread! No mind Clown Osinbajo. He's acting like he's the Presidential candidate. Don't be hypocritical, man. He will be number 2 in APC government if they win, and you don't want him to also go round to campaign and bring value to the ticket. If he sits down, you call him spare tyre, if he works you call him "acting like president". Statements like these piss me off. You're free to defect to Jonathanianism, it only becomes worrisome when common sense begins to defect. |

PHIPEX: It is nice seeing the Professor getting connected to the grass root but the problem I have with him is why he has only focused on Southwest. Is he not expecting votes from other zones? He has spent 90percent of his free time moving around Lagos and few states in South west as if he is contesting for governorship position. Let's be fair. Was he not in Uyo and I think Asaba last week or so? |

Isn't this same rabid group that was screaming genocide that led to the removal of the best COAS so far ihejirika. They even threatened to sue him and till today ihejirika is enjoying his retirement

Education › Re: How Can I Make First Class? by Jarus(m): 12:06pm On Feb 28, 2015*. Modified: 12:23pm On Feb 28, 2015 |
I wrote on this years ago. Check this out http://www.jarushub.com/top-10-secrets-of-first-class-students/But let me give you further hints: 1, You need a minimum level of natural brilliance. Don't know whether you satisfy this. 2, Do you have interest in the course? It must be a course you are comfortable with and passionate about. 3, Look for students in higher levels in your department that are in first class. Make friends with them. Ask for mentorship. Ask them how to go about each course, how they did their own 4, Develop a positive mindset that you can do it. Don't listen to prophets of doom that tell you you can never have first class. 5, Take your departmental handbook that shows all courses you are to offer from year 1 to final year. Write down the courses, set a target of say 4.70 to yourself, and calculate what you need to score in each subject to make the 4.70. Break it down further into semesters. At the beginning of each semester, set a sub-target. 6, Choose your electives wisely. At the early years, go for "quick-win" elective courses even if they're the least rich. At higher levels, you may begin to rank value of elective over cheapness 7, Learn the art of taking exams. Study the course takers. At the beginning of each course, ask your immediate seniors what the lecturer likes. 8, Be an all-rounder. Don't say you're only good in calculation and not theory. You have to learn how to be good in theory too. Even if involves cramming, so be it. All is fair. 9, Target to be the highest scorer in each course in your class. 10, Bear in mind that first-class stands you a decent employment or scholarship chance when you finish. So be ready to sacrifice now and enjoy later. This should keep you going. I did most of these, and by God's grace, it worked. |

Family › Re: Married Zimbabwean Woman And Nigerian Lover Get Stuck During Sex by Jarus(m): 4:02pm On Feb 27, 2015 |
fulanigirl: Penis captivus happens when a man’s penis gets “stuck” in a woman’s vagina.
How does it happen?
One possible explanation involves anatomy. During intercourse, a man’s erect penis is filled with blood. When a woman has an orgasm, her pelvic muscles go through a series of contractions. Sometimes, the contractions cause the vaginal walls to clamp down on the penis, making it difficult for the man to withdraw.
Usually, penis captivus happens for only a few seconds. Once the woman finishes with her orgasm, her contractions stop. After the man ejaculates, blood leaves his penis and he loses his erection. At that point, he should be able to withdraw his penis from her vagina.
Fortunately, penis captivus is quite rare in humans. There have been some documented cases in which couples have needed medical attention, but most of the time, the situation resolves on its own within a few minutes.
Source:
http://www.sexhealthmatters.org/did-you-know/penis-captivus This doesn't explain it. It says this happens usuallu for "few minutes". We are talking about hours here. And more remarkably, why does it always happen in cases of cheating and not married couples doing it? |

fabulous660: It is with great pleasure that I wish to announce to all those people who completed their primary school education in Nigeria and not in France that there have been some improvement in the primary school sector....
But if you were born in the indomie generation maybe this will not make any sense to you.
*Do u know that Ali is no longer a boy? *Simbi is now a mother with two children. *Chike is no longer the river boy but he is now a Marine Engineer. *Edet no longer lives in Calabar but has moved to Canada. *Agbo is happily married too and has left the town of Lagoon for London. *Eze no longer goes to school, he is now a graduate. *Even Mr Salami is no longer a farmer but a politician. *Remember Ralia the sugar girl? she now owns one of the biggest sugar factories in Kano. *Ade our naughty little brother is now a doctor in one of the biggest hospitals in the country.
Wow!!! what a great medium to recall those days of "Macmillian English." We all had them off hand. Spirit of primary school days, but if u don't know all dis den u are part of indomie generation... IdrisAdebiye: Buhari is still THINKING of putting together a ‘think tank’ thank will advise his government! This is very sad. I expect them to come out boldly and say their think tank members have come up with a blue print already. This approach is not different from the current approach of GEJ. This man has nothing NEW to offer! Mumu. So you will not win first before appointing ministers, advisers, economic management team etc. So you don't know there is a different between the pre-victory think-tank (which Fayemi and co are doing now) and post-victory think-tank which will look at extent of problem first before charting course of solution. You don't know that cannot be done before you get to power because as an external party now, you don't know the extent of damage yet |
