When will we start posing threats with dead ball situations?
Very annoying.
Whether free kicks or corner kick, no benefit. |

Bolowolowo: Over the last half deacde, I've noticed that anytime I miss the first half of a Nigerian game, the Super Eagles tend to win. So with that in mind, I'll purposely miss the first half of this match. I won't even check online scores.
Good luck to the boys.
Regardless of what happens you'll always have my support.
#NaijaNoDeyCarryLast You will hear shout of GOAL if Nigeria scores, except you are not in Nigeria. |

forgiveness: Rohr likes to confuse his opponents. We saw it during our qualifiers.
Today, he has done it again.
Let me see how they will be positioned.
............................... Uzoho.............
............ Balogun....... Ekong.......... Omeruo.....
..... Moses........ Etebo........ Ndidi......... Idowu....
.............................. Mikel................
............ Musa............................ Iheanacho...
I hope I never leak secret for here?
Anyway, it will be too late Iceland practice against this players and tactics.
I think there was chemistry between Musa and Iheanacho in our last match. Looks good, but can Etebo and Mikel switch positions? |

tbaba1234: Confirmed Starting Line-up:
Uzoho; Ekong, Balogun, Omeruo; Moses, Mikel, Ndidi, Etebo, Idowu; Iheanacho, Musa.
I think, this is a much better lineup
Colin Udoh deliberately released a fake line-up to throw people off. He mentioned that Rohr was angry that the line-up was released the last time . Apparently, he did it to throw the opponents off. This is not bad. 3-4-1-2 I have been clamouring for a 2-man attack. We don't have material for a one-man attack. Musa's speed will also be useful here. Another good thing, we have at least one potential game changer - Iwobi - on the bench. That could be helpful too. The little fear is whether Idowu can cover the whole side of his wing enough. Moses does that at Chelsea, so no problem on his side. I'm also interested in seeing who among the 3 midfielders will be closest to attack. I prefer Etebo to Mikel. |

Sports › Re: Can The Siamese Twins (Nigeria And Argentina) Be Separated This Year Also? by Jarus(m): 11:22am On Jun 22, 2018 |
Tolexander: Nigeria had her first qualification to the FIFA world cup in 1994. Since then, Nigeria has always been present in the mundial, except the 2006 edition in Germany, no thanks to the introduced head-head rule.
USA '94, France '98, Japan/Korea 2002, South Africa 2010, Brazil 2014 and this year edition in Russia(i.e. Russia 2018) have given the Super Eagles the chance to showcase their footballing skills in their green and white kits.
Since Nigeria has been qualifying for the mundial, the first round of the tournament has always been a round robin, each team playing against all members of the group to get to the next stage.
Argentina is the "most consistent" country in Nigeria's group and seems to have the same thing in common, which we shall see from the tables below, having the records of Nigeria and Argentina's performances at the FIFA World cups where they were/are. grouped together (1994, 2002, 2014 and 2018).
USA 1994 1 Nigeria 6 2 Bulgaria 6 3 Argentina 6 4 Greece 0
Nigeria, Bulgaria and Argentina all qualified to the next round (Argentina went as one of the best losers)
Japan/Korea 2002 1 Sweden 5 2 England 5 3 Argentina 4 4 Nigeria 1
Nigeria and her siamese twin, Argentina didn't qualify from the group
Brazil 2014 1 Argentina 9 2 Nigeria 4 3 Bosnia & Herzegovina 3 4 Iran 1
Nigeria and her Siamese, Argentina, qualified to the next round from the group
Russia 2018. (present standing) 1 Croatia 6 2 Iceland 1 3 Argentina 1 4 Nigeria 0
Argentina and her siamese, Nigeria, trailing below the table.
With the way things are going with the two teams, should we be expecting the same fate befallen two national teams or otherwise? Hence the need to ask if the Siamese twins can be separated this year
cc Jarus, Dominique, semid4lyfe, Robosky02 Good analysis. I think today's match vs Iceland will determine whether they will remain Siamese twins. Croatia is settled, which means both of us cannot advance this time. Either both of us go out or one moves to next stage. The match vs Iceland today will determine that. If we lose, we are both going down. |
Education › Re: First Year Semester GPA Of 0.2, I Need A First Class. Am on Verge Of Giving Up. by Jarus(m): 12:16pm On Jun 21, 2018 |
Amakababe: My name is Amaka afuzor, and i am a student of Federal university of technology minna. Mechanical engineering. 100 level
Before you accuse me of being dull, I had a 204 in JAMB. I always wanted a first class, but I decided to check my result yesterday only to see F parallel and some good grades out of 10 courses. Pls am 22 and I need to pass so I can get a good job after graduation. I know I didn't give my books much attention this semester.
I am confused because I will be asked to withdraw if I get a cgpa less than 2.0 on a scale of 5 after second semester and don't meet the 10-8-8 requirement which I am very far from.
CAN I GRADUATE WITH A FIRST CLASS STILL? Tell me the honest truth, I can handle it.
Pls who knows how many percentage of final cgpa the first year performance takes In futminna
Lalasticlala Jarus Richiez Seun Nothing is impossible, but all indicators point to you not being a first class material. I hate to say that. Most first class grads have track record from secondary school. 204/400 in UME is not a first class material's score. Even worse, first class grads don't have "F parallel". A more realistic graduation target for you is 2.1 (i.e CGPA of above 3.5/5.0) which is still good enough for the labour market, but the immediate concern should be how to avoid being rusticated. Put out the fire first. Try and target B minimum in all your courses in the next semester. Read. Read. Read. Get academic high flyer mentors. Meet your seniors that did the courses in the previous year, ask for tricks for passing each of the courses. When you put out the fire (i.e stabilize), then you can continue your long term target of graduating with a good grade. |
