second then said:

second wish is that
you flog me only 20
strokes of the whip.
He was whipped, and
luckily for him, the pillows helped to make
the pain of the whip
lesser.
Akpors saw this;
thought for a second,
then said: “Thank you,
most royal and
merciful
highness for the
wishes. My first wish
is to receive 100 lashes
with the strongest,
toughest whip
available.”, musa
laughed and thought
akpors was a fool…The Sheik replied with a
puzzled look on his
face,” and your second
wish?”
akpors replied
. “Tie musa to my back!”↲

This is just under a topic out of the thousands. Moreover, these are not calculations,I see them as simple boring arithmetics. You can't compare with stuffs like equations of motion,projectiles,differentiation,polynomials,titrimetric analysis etc where you just have to get the concept and practise questions.

Biology is just too boring to me,one will have to read 'heavy stuffs'.

Oluwatola5: Gosh!!! I dont like cases like this...... If yesterday wch was Tuesday had been Thursday(tomorrow) today would have been Friday. You dont get the logics? Tomorrow is assumed to take the place of yesterday now thereby making Friday a day after it. Fix it now!!!!

I think it should be interpreted as: Yesterday(Tuesday) was taken as tomorrow,meaning today would then be Monday,instead of it being the actual Wednesday.

Just like saying 'if I were you' ,it would be assumed that I'm putting myself in your shoes. So,I can now say according to that statement that we are putting yesterday in place of tomorrow and not the reverse.

I get your point but I disagree with your interpretation.

You can also see were @donmayor made mention of your course of study being dependent on the school arrangement,@OP it very true. Some ENGR Departments wud be dishing out first class like water some dey hoard am.
But OP if we start following dis path now, it might be dat the school u've decided to attend will have bad lectures in dat particular course u've decided to study....God forbid-its not ur portion.

So wat if it happens wat u gonna do? Its just determination and Hardwork bro. So many other people have passed tru dat same Dept with doze same set of lecturers.don't allow some mother fucking,Saddist lecturers come and make you lose your dream.

Let me tell you a short story, wen I got into UNN, it was a known fact dat Mechanical was the hardest, followed by electrical engr, so wad did people then Do, they had to switch Depts wen we were all in second year. Switching from Mechanical to Electronics Engr or civil engineering were dey had soft courses and some soft lecturers. As usual friends started advicing me "o boy u no go comot from dia, dat place na AKPO" and stuffs like dat..I wud have loved to change but I only had to think of wat my pop-c wud have said then."Mechanical to Electronics, Y".. I will now open my small mouth and say becos dey have some wicked lecturers..

Finally am done from dia ohh, all things being equal going for service next year February..

Donmayor19 still told u that all engineering courses in Nigeria are the best - I strongly agree with him on dat. From civil,Mechanical,Electrical,electronics,chemical,Met/Mat,environmental,Gas,petroleum.etc

I'm sure you wud enjoy Mechanical Engineering as it happens to be the broadest field of all - Energy and power,industrial engineering/Management,Design,solid mechanics etc..

Olastep1: you've got it twisted, i guess. If yesterday was tomorrow, and we were already given today as friday. Then, yesterday of friday was thursday, right? Yes. Now, we were told that if that yesterday was tomorrow, then, what is tomorrow? A day after. So, if yesterday of friday, that is thursday, were tomorrow, then what is the day before thursday? It is definately Wednessday. So, Thursday is the yesterday of Friday and Thursday is the tomorrow of Wednessday.

Assuming, the teacher said if tomorrow was yesterday, then you're right. But it was yesterday was tomorrow, and today na friday.

Thank God today is Wednesday,so are you telling me that if yesterday was tomorrow,today would be Friday? Your answer is No.
But,assume today is Sunday and see if it is right or wrong.

If today is Sunday,yesterday would be Saturday,then we said if that yesterday,which is Saturday is taken as tomorrow,then definitely today is Friday. Period!

Oluwatola5: This question is head turning, i managed to get it with today's day of the week wch happens to be Tuesday, i just thought that if yesterday wch was Monday had been tomorrow wch is going to be Wednesday, then today wch happens to be a day after the (assumed) Wednesday would have beenThursday. In my assumption it is clear that i thought of this on a Tuesday(we all know today is Tuesday). Then i used it to find it, if Friday is the assumed today, then this suggested question by the teacher was asked on a Wednesday that if yesterday(wch is a Tuesday) had been tomorrow(the tomorrow of a Wednesday is Thursday), then today would have been a Friday........you must have tried to understand what i typed.

If yesterday(Tuesday) was tomorrow(we no longer need to tell what day it should be),today would be Monday. But,today is actually Wednesday. Obviously,the difference between the actual day(Wednesday in this case) and the day it was found to be after the assumption(Monday) is that the actual day is 2days ahead.

Relating this to the question,Friday was the result gotten from the assumed,therefore a day which is 2days ahead is the actual day,and that is SUNDAY.

Or,If you like say,from the question,if yesterday was tomorrow,today would be Friday,tomorrow of Friday is Saturday,which is actually yesterday of the actual day,so,obviously the actual day is SUNDAY. Hope you get it now.↲
