Women read more of Hailey Chase novels, which, to me, are not intellectually challenging. I hate seeing those novels each time I patronize second hand book sellers.
Sir, Hailey Chase novels are some of the most intellectually challenging novels ever. I have read over 30+ of the novels.

The dude is crazy, the cover page usually portray semi nude girls but the contents are way different. He write mostly about crimes, investigations... You will get addicted fast when u read one

I agree with the OP, pidgin English is also a huge turn off for me especially as the OP said, when it's being used constantly in conversations
And yeah I speak pidgin too but that's because of the mentality you guys have, terming those who opt to speak English as patronizers of a borrowed language
Pigdin English has a way of making the speaker look tout-like and irresponsible
I only speak "pure English" to kids, to my patients, superiors and some ladies am meeting for the first time. As an Edo guy, I rap my pigin like Phyno... Any babe not cool with it better tell me so or swerve. Ain't gat no time to prove nutin..... And BTW an very responsible!!

Very true. People end up causing so much harm to their vision in an attempt to self-medicate or use expired products

You forgot breastfeed milk
Yes.... I just remembered. A woman once told me her granny ask her to be applying breastmilk to her baby's eye. I had to warn her again that.

On a lighter note, that breastmilk could serve BETTER purpose nah grin
HealthCrazy Things People Uses To "Cure" Eye Diseases by jauntty(op):
As an Eyecare practitioner , I have worked in both hospitals and communities helping people with their Ocular issues.

Here are some funny substances people apply to their eye in an attempt to cure various eye diseases. Please always seek professional help

1. ONIONS

I don't know how this started but it's quite common and rampant. Some people rub the onion on the eyelids, others will subject themselves to the discomfort of a teary eye with the believe that it will improve the vision

2. URINE

I find this both funny and disgusting at the same time. So this man had cataract and instead of going to the hospital or eye clinic, resorted to using early morning urine for the past 3 years . (I was wowed! Such commitment in error)

3. SUGAR solution

This is popular with people trying to cure "Apollo" or conjunctivitis. I have lost count of people telling me how effective this Sugar therapy is and how it have worked for them. For the record, "Apollo" is self-limiting and will resolve completely even with or without any treatment

4. KEROSINE

This one got me scared. Honestly! Was attending to someone last year, after the routine assessments, I discovered that he had trauma, that was when he said he was advised by a friend to put a drop of kerosine in his eye to cure his red eye. (in my mind I was like 'you should have also lighted a match and apply it too ) grin

5. RED CHALK

Saw this in one of the South West states. I don't understand how they rationalize that rubbing red chalk around the eye can help cure poor vision

I have seen people who have used
-leaves esp moringa
-water
-Salt solution

You guys can add yours and share your experience. grin cheesy grin just for fun. Let's know which one you have used and which one has worked.

Noticed that too, but their customer service now sucks. They don't answer calls, no reply to my mails and they wuldnt process my withdrawal Request.

Sorry about your loss.

For me, aside from mining coins (which I don't do cost of the technology ), trading currencies or earning at faucets, any other bitcoin biz is laced with frauds, especially bitcoins doubling sites and bitcoin investment clubs

CrimeTwo Men With Human Parts In Ogun Arrested (Photos) by jauntty(op): 2:43pm On Apr 03, 2016
It was all wailing and tears today around Sango axis of Ogun state, after two men between the ages of 40 and 50 years old were caught at the Ayokunu Oil, an abandoned filling station before Iyana-Ilogbo bus stop with dried human parts.

The suspects who were accosted by residents around the area were given the beaten of their lives before operatives of the Police Force; Sango-Otta Division came to the scene and took the suspects away to the Sango-Otta division, even before the arrival of NND reporter.

Efforts to interrogate the suspects at the police station were rendered abortive by members of the police force so as to give room for proper investigations.

The suspects reportedly met their waterloo after some residents of Iyana-Ilogbo who has been monitoring the suspicious activities of culprits acted as police officers to approach them. At the crime scene, many items were discovered, which include school uniforms, sandals, police uniform, wigs, cutlasses and school bags. Dungeons which used to be septic tanks were also discovered with different human parts.

When Nigerian NewsDirect contacted Ogun state Police Public Relations Officer, MuyiwaAdejobi at press time, he said he is not aware, as the incident has not yet reach his table.

Happy for them.

But as much as I believe miracles can happen, I think its WRONG to disregard sound medical advice cus of FAITH.

I have had a patient who became blind due to glaucoma because he refuse to manage ut. Instead he went from one prayer house to another, and he was just 25 years old.

Faith isn't a call to recklessness.
